I heard some recording of a Cocker concert on KROQ once, but I couldn't catch the title. It sounded incredible.

Shame about the sound quality.

I think this was the closer... man, that performance was intense:

....my take:

The first 20 minutes were a mess—everything from the audio quality to the setlist selection. But after that, things really turned a corner. Both the sound and the flow improved significantly. Joe is still the absolute king of performance, especially when he hits those gritty, screaming notes. And those two backup singers? Absolutely killer, especially the Black vocalist.

My one gripe is that the whole thing only lasted an hour and a half. Maybe it’s just me, but I always walk into a show expecting at least a solid two-hour set.

Bottom line:

-it was worth every penny.
Tickets in my pocket... just praying they actually show up at the door.

Oh yeah, absolutely... total classic. It’s easily one of my all-time favorite SF flicks.
Damn... I was actually looking forward to this like a total idiot.

Whoops... I haven't even cracked a single one yet... but we definitely need to get on top of this ASAP today.
Just finished watching Kingdom of Heaven and spent some time falling down a rabbit hole online, only to realize the movie is pretty much pure fiction—especially when it comes to the main guy. Honestly? Knowing how far off it is from actual history kind of ruined the whole experience for me. 👎👎

It’s all a wash—just a quick sprint to the local torrent site and then you've got your movie.

So, looking at Dennis Quaid's wife, Lauren Holly... it’s basically that exact moment when a guy is totally spent. He can't handle the grind anymore, every bone in his body is aching (he's pushing 40), and he tries to tell her he’s thinking about hanging it up after this season, something like:

DQ-Honney, look, we’ve got the two rings, we stayed on budget, I really thought I’d retire after the playoffs, they even promised me a broadcasting gig...

LH—What? Are you kidding me? You’ve still got two or three good years left in the tank. I am not listening to this crap.

DQ—Everyone in my life is always telling me what to do, I just want to...

GOD, THE DRAMA, THE FIGHTING...

Then suddenly, BAM, bitch. 🙂 She lands a slap so hard it probably felt nasty to film, let alone imagine happening in real life.
It was intense. Even though it only lasted a few seconds and she’s barely a supporting player, she's stuck in my head more than Stoneica or Batesica ever were.
