If you don't mind me asking, how has your experience been at that weight loss clinic over at Varaždin Hospital? What are the doctors like? And did you have to deal with a massive wait for your first appointment, or was it pretty chill? I’ve been thinking about going, but I just can't seem to get myself moving... Did you actually ask them for the Saxenda, or did they just suggest it after running some tests? Or were you supposed to try a diet first or something? I know, I know... way too many questions... 🙃

Hey there 😊, I had some tests done because I’m heading to an appointment with my immunologist (Mayo Clinic), so I always have to bring updated blood work, CBC, urine, and now my doctor added CRP and electrophoresis to the list. I’ve been seeing this immunologist for about 15 years now, and luckily, I haven't been officially diagnosed with a specific disease yet—they just have me listed under seronegative spondyloarthropathy and some other stuff. Unfortunately, I deal with symptoms constantly: massive fatigue, joint and muscle pain, and it all started pretty abruptly with erythema nodosum. Anyway, back to why those results freaked me out... a lot of things came back high, and my albumin is low, so I started worrying that maybe something is going on with my liver. Also, back in June 2019, they found a cyst on my ovary. It isn't fluid-filled and hasn't gone away with treatment. My markers were all fine in June 2019, except for CA 125, which was at 46. I’ve seen two gynecologists, and they think it might be an endometrioma, but obviously, we won't know for sure until the laparoscopy I have scheduled for late March. I just did my markers again; everything looks okay except for CA 125, which is up to 80, and now 19-9 has jumped too—it's at 40, whereas it was 15 back in June 2019. The 15-3 marker is good, CEA is good, and H4 is also fine. Since CA 125 and 19-9 are such non-specific markers, I immediately wondered if this could be linked to my liver? And I’m a total despairer; I take a ton of painkillers, and until two months ago, I was even on Decortin, though I'm trying to wean myself off it now. So, yeah, I guess I just rambled through everything there 😁. I see the immunologist in two weeks, but I'm telling you, I'm a natural-born panicker... just trying to make it through these next 5 or 6 days easier... thanks.
So, I just got diagnosed a few days ago. Does anyone know which doctors around here actually specialize in this? I heard Dr. Grujić over at Mayo Clinic is the go-to, but apparently he’s out on medical leave right now.
Maybe someone here has dealt with this before? Like, did you end up needing surgery or do they just monitor it? Who are you guys seeing for follow-ups?

Basically, the local stores here never carry half the stuff you see online, especially when it comes to plus sizes or shoes. It’s honestly kind of depressing.🙄

From where I'm sitting, he's actually making incredible progress, and we are working our tails off with him at home. He's grasping basically everything, yet he keeps racking up these Cs. It’s frustrating us, not him.
It’s the exact same deal over here. Last week they were writing sentences and she was grading them on comma usage (?!) even though we're at home and they've basically only been taught to worry about question marks, exclamation points, and periods at school so far. Still a C. She doesn't seem to care, but it pisses me off—not because of the grade, but because of what they're demanding from them. Dammit, sometimes even I still hesitate today wondering if a comma goes there or not. They're asking too much. Like, this is a kid who was only 6 years old a week ago and now they have to know where every single comma goes.😲

Just to jump in here.... It's just completely gone now, she vanished, but my marker levels are so incredibly high.... does that mean I have cancer or what?
So, back on October 24th, I went for an ultrasound because of some lower abdominal pain, frequent urination, and bowel issues. Everything looked fine on the scan—nothing unusual. I also had my PAP done, which was okay, just some slight changes in my flora. My hormones were normal too. They told me to get a urine culture and an abdominal ultrasound. The urine culture came back clear. But I just had the abdominal ultrasound this past Thursday (December 4th), and they found a 7x5.5 cm cyst on my right ovary. The pain is actually worse than before now. It’s the whole right side—from my ovary all the way up to my kidney, my spine, and even down my leg. Turns out, it's a corpus luteum cyst.
Is it even possible for it to grow that fast in just a month? I saw the same gynecologist again that same day (December 4th) right after the ultrasound, and she said I just need to monitor it and come back after my period. But then, that very evening, I started bleeding—just a light flow—and the pain feels similar to when I'm on my period, though the stuff near my kidney and spine calmed down a bit. She told me to head straight to the ER if I get sudden, intense pain accompanied by vomiting... I haven't hit that level of pain yet, but this bleeding is messing with me since I wasn't supposed to start my period for another 10 days.
What do you guys think?
And what the hell was causing my pain before the first ultrasound on October 24th if there wasn't a cyst back then?
