New fan laws: What do we think?

We’ve seen Simic crippled by stones, a guy from the Riot Squad lost an eye, people in Dugopolje barely escaped being burned alive... thank God nobody died there. The real question is: when is someone actually going to die? And then what? More hypocritical truces and empty slogans.
We need to step up and have the veterans mentor the younger kids about boundaries, even if it’s incredibly hard once the adrenaline kicks in. But rules and respect have to exist.
And I'll say it again: people with certain reputations shouldn't be the ones writing this stuff for obvious reasons.

Peter Barrett said:Good grief, what do you mean "it's not coordinated"? The choreo was a mix—first the cards, then the flags, then the walkers in several stages. Just like what you'd see at a high-level match in Stuttgart. But whatever, the display and the flares were a solid five out of ten.

You know me well enough to realize that if someone isn't sucking up to anyone or playing favorites, that's just how I roll.
I don't need to go on a long rant about my past or everything I've done—anyone who actually knows me gets it.
The fact that you think Hajduk matters more than the Black Knights tells me everything I need to know. You’re basically the type of person who claims to have seen an entire action movie but missed every single actual stunt. That's proof enough for me.
If Hajduk were truly my number one priority, I’d be at every single game in the East Stand, soaking up the tension and enjoying the ride.

Forget about the actual quality of the supporters; they don't care. It’s not an issue with the "die-hards" as you guys call them; plenty of mediocre fans show up too. Just look at the fences every other weekend. Let's not be hypocrites; everyone knows which groups actually bring the numbers. On paper, it sounds crazy, but reality is a different story.

He opens up about the aftermath and how surviving that tragedy completely changed the course of his life.

Don't sweat it—it’s basically just a filter for the idiots anyway.
Better to type than to fight—it's less damage in the long run. 😉
Jesse Campbell said:What are you even talking about? Anyone following this forum with half a brain knows the Black Knights won't shut up about anything. You guys are ready to drag out a fight with the Bad Boys for 19 straight pages. Then it's the Mafia, the Cohort, and so on... whereas over here, we don't bother with that kind of nonsense...
I wasn't mocking the Black Knights when I wrote that the BBB is the strongest group in Europe in terms of fan culture. Your buddies—who clearly struggle with basic logic—took it as me taking a dig at your specific group...
Look, you Miami folks are famous for exaggerating. If you can honestly claim Miami is the most beautiful city in the world—which is total nonsense, given there are at least ten better spots in America—then why shouldn't I be allowed to say the BBB are the toughest group in Europe when it comes to uncompromising grit and balls? It's pretty damn close to the truth.
Huh? ☕
Of course, any claim should be open to criticism, including mine. But the argument that other groups should act the same way if they were in our shoes? I'm not buying it. That’s just wishful thinking that rarely holds up in reality. If a group has been in fierce opposition for years against so many powerful opponents, then that actually means something. And I guarantee you, it isn't by accident.
Should I start listing all the groups that compromised with politics, bowed their heads, or turned into nothing more than corporate puppets? ☕

A couple of tightening restrictions would actually send a message.

You walked into this argument on the wrong foot by acting like you had to defend what "correct" fan mentality looks like to me. I actually think much like you do; I’m just asking you to clear up some contradictions. Right now, it feels like this "ultra" mindset is being forced, or maybe you just haven't made up your mind yet.
Fair enough. Let's go through this point by point.
I agree that people evolve throughout their lives—their worldviews change, including this little micro-world of fan culture we're discussing right now.
I never claimed marketing was the *only* way to fund things; you jumped to that conclusion yourself, which is where you went wrong.
My actual point, which I brought up in my first reply, is about ethics. It’s one thing to criticize the club's current reliance on marketing revenue (and look, I have my own thoughts on marketing), but it’s another to bash that exact money source while simultaneously using those same funds to run terrace activities.
Now we’re back to ideals and the idea that there's always more to learn.
If you're truly committed to the ultra lifestyle, you should be able to admit when you're wrong. There's no shame in it.
It's never too late for a better starting point.
wearyraven25 said:As Rommel noted, there isn't a better way to fund things currently—well, technically there is, like passing the collection buckets in the stands, but that wouldn't even cover a round of drinks at a local pub...
Don't get me wrong on the rest.
wearyraven25 said:Exactly, which is why there's no need to rush things.
Especially for those of you with plenty of time ahead of you; experience will come naturally along with everything else life throws at you.
I wasn't talking about marketing—I was referring to stadium operations and funding.
