Need help with holiday cards? in Miscellaneous ·
Maybe you could check out places like Catholic Charities USA or similar nonprofits where they hand-make greeting cards and all the proceeds go straight to charity.
Tell everyone, tell a few, or tell no one at all? in Miscellaneous ·
I’d just tell everyone the truth, and if that doesn't fly, I'll just find some other guy to pin it on 😁

Nah, it’s totally legal to tip over 80%—I think there was an old thread about it somewhere. Though, most dive bars around here barely even hit 15%.
I actually got that macro software bundled in with my Trust GM4200 mouse.
Never even bothered testing it out since I had zero use for it.
Honestly, check your gear—maybe you got the same thing on some old CD that came with the mouse.

Btw.
I knew exactly what he was getting at immediately—not sure how you guys missed it. 🙂
But hey, since it turns out I wasn't quite right about what he meant... 😁

I don't get Radman. He actually said he’d be the first one to test out this "elixir of youth" thing—which honestly just sounds incredibly childish and naive for an adult who’s supposedly got a brain.
I mean, look at the numbers. We’ve already got massive populations in developing nations, and those numbers are climbing faster every single year.
Just try to wrap your head around what happens if that trend keeps going while people also stop aging—either they stay young or whatever.
Where the hell are we supposed to get food, water, or even basic resources? And don't even get me started on the pollution, not to mention we’d eventually run out of room to actually live.
We'd see constant wars over minority groups suddenly becoming majorities...
And if this "elixir" is reserved for the ultra-wealthy, the gap would be insane. The rich would basically become gods, while the rest of us stay stuck as mere mortals.

Bottom line? Everything would just go to hell. It's the same mess we'd face with cloning—thank Bog that hasn't been abused yet.
Nature naturally clears out the old to make way for the new.
The stronger, more evolved species pushes out the weaker ones—Darwin.

Besides, I highly doubt they’ve actually cooked up this "elixir of youth" everyone is buzzing about.
They probably just stumbled onto some tiny, insignificant lead that's barely even a trace of a "real" elixir.

Michelle Stewart59 said:It wasn't even really a temptation. I just said I’d give it a shot, and then I did. No big dramatic struggle or anything. 😁 Once was enough for me. It's not like I hated it, per se, but the aftermath... I don't even know how to put it. You just feel hollow. Unfulfilled. Like you just flushed hard-earned cash down the toilet for something completely pointless. You get what I'm saying?

I mean... technically, any time you even think about doing something, that's a temptation right there.
To pull the trigger or not.
We could go down that rabbit hole if we wanted, but honestly, whatever.

I don't really get why you're framing it that way—since I've never actually done it (and have zero plans to).
But, yeah. I think I get your point.

Look, I’m pretty sure I coded that thing myself.
At least, that’s how I remember it. I think I only ever booted it up once—can’t even recall the damn name—but honestly, I never really had any use for it anyway. 🙂
