Last night (2010) in Movies ·
I watched this movie yesterday and I truly found myself enjoying the experience. I didn't expect to enjoy it much because I had read a few negative reviews beforehand, but I really think it's worth someone's time...
The theme isn't entirely new, but it feels like such a grounded story where
so many people might find themselves relating to the main characters...
I loved the overall atmosphere and how they captured the
complexities of marriage, love, loyalty, and attraction...
The lead actors were quite good and felt very convincing.. 🙏
Don't miss out on this one 👍

That guy’s movie was actually pretty decent... I'm just not really into
action movies, but this one was alright
I ended up watching it today and
it actually caught me by surprise... 🙂
It was easy enough to sit through and watch 😁
Anyone going...? in Miscellaneous ·
yeah... it actually happens - my roommate 😁
I went into her room once to wake her up, and when she pulled back the covers, she had sneakers on 😲 she wasn't even drunk, which was the worst part—it was just a mid-afternoon nap 🤦
I've honestly never seen or heard of anything like that before 😁
The original was honestly one of the best comedies I’ve ever seen... I have absolutely no interest in this remake... ☕
Kidney issues/health in Health ·
I came across this thread and noticed it’s been around for a while, but I’m dealing with something similar right now... my left kidney is hurting, my back pain is so intense that walking is almost impossible, and the most frightening part is how my kidney feels like it's bulging outward, almost swollen 😲 😢

I just got home from the ER where they gave me two shots, and I have all my other tests scheduled for tomorrow... honestly, the fear is just overwhelming 😲

Could this possibly be a kidney stone? 🤷
Hypochondria Chat in Health ·
Jeffrey Jones49 said:I’ve been reflecting lately on how common this phenomenon seems to be getting among people...
...I have a friend who has been convinced for years that he suffers from high blood pressure... whenever he comes over to have it checked, I chat him up and his numbers are perfectly normal, somewhere between 110 and 125 over 80... yet when he visits his doctor, it jumps to 150/80 or even 90... and once again, the doctor sends him off for more tests...
..after a whole year, he goes back for a follow-up and it’s the exact same story, with more tests that show absolutely nothing wrong with his blood pressure... the only indicator is that reading, because everything else is fine... those eye capillary tests and kidney checks all come back perfect...
..so, it seems he’s just imagining being sick...
...he probably just gets so anxious during every check-up that his levels spike...
..I wouldn't even mention this if my sister hadn't started going through something almost identical about six months ago, and after countless tests, they still haven't found anything... nobody sees any issues except her...
...I have more stories, but that's enough for now...

I’m dealing with this exact same thing, specifically with my blood pressure😁
every single time I'm at the doctor, it hits 150/100, but when I just check it casually at home, it's much lower... plus, it feels like I have a different illness every day, depending on what I'm worrying about...😁
It's true that I take medication for my thyroid, though my doctor mentioned that I could actually make that condition worse just by dwelling on negative thoughts... I really think that's what happened, because I can't stop thinking about illnesses... yesterday my doctor told me that she believes my pain is real, but physically there's nothing wrong—that it's all happening in my head... I'm trying to hold onto that thought, even though I know the obsession will come back, making me want to read and research every possible disease...

It might be a smart move to get your thyroid levels checked... that was exactly what happened with me...
Lump on my leg: what could it be? in Health ·
Hey... I've got this swelling on my right ankle too... it's actually less painful when I'm walking, though it doesn't really hurt much, just feels a bit tight. They told me it's just a cyst and I'm headed in soon to have it removed! But looking at my ankle, it almost looks ridiculous, I can barely even tell which part is my actual ankle anymore...😛
Numbness/tingling in my legs in Health ·
Timothy Adams6 said:Over the last few days, I’ve been dealing with some really strange symptoms. I’m feeling this persistent muscle pain in my left leg, though sometimes it hits the right one too. It isn't exactly sharp pain; it feels more like an intense tension or heaviness, especially concentrated in my hip, knee, and thigh muscles. On top of that, my lower back is aching quite a bit, and the pain seems to radiate downward. Interestingly, I can walk normally, and the symptoms actually seem to subside whenever I'm moving around. However, over the past two or three months, there have been a couple of times where my legs just went numb out of nowhere. I also feel this tightness in my pelvis, almost like I’m constantly wound up or under pressure. Plus, I’ve noticed I’m needing to use the restroom much more frequently. I’ve already ruled out a bladder infection since there's no stinging or discomfort when I go.
I honestly have no idea what to make of all this or which specialist I should even bother seeing. I can't get in to see my regular primary care physician at the moment because I'm away from home.
Has anyone else ever dealt with anything similar, or does this sound familiar to anyone?

😕 I'm experiencing the exact same thing, and I actually started a separate thread about "pain in my right leg"... I just have no idea what might be causing it...😕
Thinking about trying drugs in Health ·
Someone above mentioned that we should approach this smartly and do our research, but I honestly don't see how that works... 🙏 It feels like everyone is talking as if they've actually gone through it themselves, which is rarely the case, and when people claim they truly want to try it, it usually just seems more like a desire to follow the crowd...

Someone above mentioned we should approach this intelligently and do our research, but I honestly don't see how you can plan for something like this... 🙏 It feels like everyone is talking as if they’ve actually gone through it themselves, when in reality, that kind of genuine experience is quite rare, and much of what people claim is just someone being swayed by the hype rather than any real intention to try it...

Someone above mentioned that we should approach this smartly and stay informed, but I honestly don't see how that works... 🙏 It feels like everyone is talking as if they’ve actually gone through with it, when really, that kind of certainty is quite rare to find, and much of what people claim about wanting to try it is just driven by pure temptation rather than any real intention...

Someone above is saying we need to be smart about this and stay informed, but I honestly don't see the point... how can you even approach something like this "smartly" when there's so little to go on? 🙏 It feels like everyone is talking as if they’ve actually experienced it themselves, though that seems incredibly rare and unlikely... and even then, claiming someone truly wants to try this isn't quite right, it's more like just being susceptible to temptation...

Someone above mentioned that we should all "do this smartly and stay informed," but I honestly don't see the point... how are you even supposed to approach it with such certainty? 🙏 It feels like everyone is talking as if they've actually gone through with it, though I doubt anyone truly has... it seems more like people are just being swayed by the idea rather than having any real intention to try it...
