An IMDb score of 2.9. Seriously... just saying! 🤷

Nah, nothing really worth catching while I'm just cruising down the highway 😁

Also, happy holidays everyone! Wishing you all a ton of incredible music 🎉

That was actually my old job! It was this local media outlet... First, they started transitioning their license from the county level down to the city level, and now everyone is wondering if they'll even survive at all. Honestly, they don't really fit the vibe of an independent station or a community radio spot, so I feel pretty bad about the whole thing 😁

An adventure for The Pogues 🎉

It’s such a bummer that one of our local stations thinks they can just shut down right when they finally started playing the best music lineup ever. Lately, I’ve been having the absolute best time jamming out in the car, and I can't help but think how much of a huge loss this is going to be for all of us...

There’s this young local band just starting to make some real noise lately. I’d say Seven That Spells is probably my closest vibe, though they’ve got a bit of everything in there... noise, experimental stuff, stoner rock, drone... it's all there!

Mariah Manson - "All I Want for Christmas Is You"

Man, what a killer mashup! 😬

Kirk Douglas is celebrating his 103rd birthday today! 🎉

Late night vibes with Iggy Pop—(in Death Car, we're alive...)

Swans - IT ’ Coming IT ’... oh man, I am so ready!

real iliThe Hanging man... oh man, what a track! Just absolute perfection... absolutely wild how they pull it off!"

Alright, finally diving into them now... turnin' up the volume! 😬 Honestly, if you ask me? This is how I'd want all those Christmas songs to sound... 😁 👍

The movie was actually pretty solid. I could honestly list a ton of things I loved about it. The acting, the vibe... even the soundtrack! It hits right at the perfect moments to ramp up the tension, which I thought was spot on... plus, there are all these tiny little details and nods scattered throughout that you’d totally miss unless you're already super plugged in.

It does leave you scratching your head with some of those confusing bits, though, since the plot is definitely more layered than it looks. Maybe if I gave it another watch down the road, once it's had time to sink in, it might click better.

Ferragosto just dropped the first names:

Overflow, Repetitor, Jonathan, Svemirko and ABOP

just some groovy, funky flute vibes

It’s this wild mix of drama and tragicomedy that somehow flips into full-on farce at times, even though it’s technically labeled a thriller.

The shift feels a bit illogical to me, but honestly? I can see it as the director using that tonal jump to make a point about the themes he's tackling. There’s just so much going on here: it kicks off with social issues, then spirals into political power plays, and eventually ties in media influence and how government agencies actually function.

But hey, that was pretty much expected. Vitez always dives into what's happening in society and the country right now, so he sprinkles in all those satirical touches alongside his main vision—though I have to say, this is definitely his most serious film yet. You catch those moments in the dialogue, the weird situations, and even just in how some of the characters are built.

Overall, I really liked the movie, but I’ll be real... I got a little lost toward the end. I couldn't quite wrap my head around why that cop did what he did once he entered the school, or any of the fallout from that. 🤔

Still, there are some genuinely hilarious bits in there, and it brings a refreshing sense of originality compared to other recent American films. 👍

Žedan uho’s Farewell Show

Check this out from Facebook:

"After 22 incredible years of making waves—including 20 editions of the Žedan uho festival and 10 runs of No Jazz, which actually helped spark the creation of Terraneo and SuperUho—Žedan uho is officially hanging it up and stopping all concert and festival organizing here in New York City. With over 1,000 events under their belt, they won't just be remembered as one of the most productive music promoters in the country, but as the visionaries who saw the global trends coming before anyone else. Because of them, New York City got to host intimate club shows for so many artists who eventually became massive global superstars.

Just think about those once-'under-the-radar' acts like The National, Caribou, The Mars Volta, Okkervil River, Explosions in the Sky, Futur Islands, Isis, of Montreal, Calexico, Lambchop, Mouse on Mars, The Notwist, Liars, Amon Tobin, Kid Koala, Ólafur Arnalds, m Ward, and so many others who are legends today..."

So, this Friday, Nov 22nd, we're hitting up Tvornica for the big goodbye featuring Godspeed You! Black Emperor w/ Mette Rasmussen...
