Kate Taylor59 said:He’s focused on aesthetics above all else... he’ll give you a tiny nose, but you won't be able to breathe...👎

I had my nose done about four years ago, and honestly, I can breathe perfectly fine now...😁My niece was actually just seeing him seven days ago for a rhinoplasty. Her nose looks flawless. I'm not interested in getting caught up in some petty gossip group here. I've seen him twice for two different procedures, and everything was 👍🙂. I have nothing against him, so I won't badmouth him for no reason.☕
Maria Hall92 said:I mean, come on... what are you even saying? I still can't get past his nose. They all look like they were pulled from the exact same mold. I know, I know... it’s all subjective... but still...

The image provided shows a portrait of an individual. Given the constraints, I cannot process or interpret specific visual content from external URLs to generate a written commentary.

Well, this is just... truly pathetic...

That nose is photoshopped to hell. It’s never looked like that—completely flat with some weird little bulb at the tip. I don't even know how to describe it properly... though you'd notice the fake look most when she actually smiles...☕Glumičić is definitely a man who knows how to listen. He’s a true gentleman. Every time I’ve been under his care, he hasn't missed a single beat... thank God for that. The real issue is that women rarely listen to him. Instead, they insist on chasing after these impossible fantasies that their own delusions won't allow them to achieve. I chose to actually listen to him, and that was my saving grace. I used to think, "He's just some expert, why should I bother listening to him?"... turns out, I was wrong.🤷☕
Maria Hall92 said:Haha, I’ve been lurking on this forum since the beginning... honestly... look at this... I don't know... I won't let myself be biased, but even I felt a bit hesitant about booking an appointment with him..

I’ve actually seen him, and people compliment my outfit quite often lately.🙂😍I am beyond impressed.😍
Carol Diaz31 said:My mom’s nose is totally straight now. The tip is still slightly pointed, but it’s much shorter. I actually prefer it this way. A nice, straight, slightly pointed nose is far better than some tiny, upturned thing.

Mine is more rounded right now... mostly because I can still feel the swelling and numbness at the tip.

It’s just an issue when I touch it; moving my finger up and down over that area feels off. You wouldn't even notice it just by looking.

Anyway, my follow-up appointment is in about 20 days. If it hasn't settled by then, I'll just ask him everything.

That was the exact same experience for a relative of mine. She also went to Toncic, and things finally settled into place after six months to a year.🙂😉Don't worry.👍
stormyharbor2 said:🤣 hihihi. It seems we had similar impressions. Regarding you down at the pier with the bandage and the clips, I pictured something like this http://library.thinkquest.org/06aug/...Man%20mage.jpg 😂

Well, you certainly gave me a laugh.😂All jokes aside, I agree that the clips can probably come off after a month or two. Some people even manage sooner if they heal quickly. My sister was wearing hers by the third day, and her puppy didn't mind one bit... honestly, he looks a hundred times better than mine does...🙂 😛 😁
Carol Diaz31 said:I don't wear them all day anyway. I don't even like them. I just started wearing them and I can't get used to it... plus, I don't have contacts.

Hmm... I thought it was $2,200. My mistake... 😳
Anyway, that was my second choice, so I sent my mom there instead. Her surgery is on Tuesday. Hopefully her nose won't turn out better than mine... 🤣

Don't let her hear you saying that.😂🤣
Carol Diaz31 said:Look, what happened to me is rare. But the vomiting and all those other potential side effects from general anesthesia? I can't deal with that either... everyone reacts differently.
Plus, I had three nurses available to me. Their expertise is unquestionable. At this point, the only things driving up the surgical costs are the general anesthesia and staying overnight at their facility, and I highly doubt that costs $2167

It’s ultimately a matter of choice, but I told my mother she was being irrational. I just don't see the logic behind such a massive price gap.🤷

Carol Diaz31, I think your mother is being smart rather than crazy.🙂😉In my view, the anesthesia used during surgery is the most critical factor. You shouldn't gamble with that.🤷
Carol Diaz31 said:When we’re actually happy with the outcome, nobody would change a thing, thank God...😍

Did you ask him for his specific advice on how long to go without glasses?
I was told six weeks.
Yet I've read at least three different versions of recommendations ranging from one month to an entire year...🙄

My issue is that I wear prescription lenses during lectures, and now I can't see a thing.😁

I remember hearing a famous plastic surgeon from the US, Ray, say on TV that you need to be without glasses for six weeks, and after that, it's fine...🙂
Sophia Hill22 said:Carol Diaz31 - the price is higher with Bastaić, but you're paying for a top-tier specialist. More importantly, you get general anesthesia with an anesthesiologist, a technician, and two nurses. That alone costs 🙂
.
What you went through sounds like a total nightmare to me...

Regarding this debate about sports vs. staying still (which is quite lively, by the way... 😛)—you could trip and break your nose, stumble on some stairs, or go to a concert and get shoved in a crowd...

By that logic, the smartest move would be to stay in bed and put life on hold for six months or a year...🙄

I believe exercising is good for circulation (and indirectly for nasal circulation 😍). I feel better when I move, so that’s what I do.

Everyone should just do what works best for them...🙂

Let's finally agree on one thing...🤣 everyone should just do what they want.🙏If you're able to exercise and aren't afraid, then go for it. I was too worried about getting injured, though I wasn't even going to concerts or parties... just hoping nobody would bump into me in a crowd.🤣
Olivia Edwards23 said:hey🙂 I have an appointment at Mayo Clinic in a week to check out my deviated septum. I was thinking about asking the doctor if they could just touch up my nose while they're at it...
The thing is, I don't really have a hump. It’s tiny, barely noticeable. But my profile looks a bit heavy because the nasal bone is quite prominent...
Does anyone know if surgeons only do aesthetic work on noses with actual humps, or would they look at something like mine? If anyone has experience here...😕

Your best bet is to call them. Ask. If they handle those kinds of procedures, prepare your questions and be specific about what you want to change.😉
Kate Taylor59 said:Blanka Vlasic claimed she started training again after just two days, saying the nose surgery was completely painless. I don't quite get why she went to an actress for breathing issues... isn't that supposed to be an ENT's job?

Well, look at that. I saw him too, and he told me everything I wrote, and the same to my friend... I know one case where a girl took a hit to the nose and had obstructions and facial changes, so they had to reconstruct it. She said it was a painful experience.😢So, all this advice is likely subjective. Some people handle surgery better, feel no pain, heal quickly, and so on... maybe that’s why the surgeon doesn't forbid sports immediately. It's foolish to call these "baseless stories"👎, especially when so many surgeons mention this on their own websites. But when someone acts like a total idiot and has nothing smarter to say than just talking trash, what can you even say about a person like that?👎
Sophia Hill22 said:Same here. I’m heading back to Pilates in just over a month. Of course, I’m making sure not to bump into anything, though I usually watch out for that anyway...😁

More nonsense stories... 🙄

That’s standard advice from every surgeon after a rhinoplasty (avoid heavy exertion, moderate exercise, don't injure the nose, they even tell you to hold off on sunglasses for a bit). Maybe try actually asking a professional before you start constantly quoting one person and rolling your eyes.👎It’s getting pathetic and sad at this point. It’s frustrating when people lack both an actual opinion and common sense...👎
Kate Bishop47 said:Thanks for the reply. You're right, I really should see my doctor. But I'm at college in another state right now, far from home, so I can't just head over there immediately. I'll get it sorted eventually. My main priority is avoiding surgery... money is tight right now.
😢

If you want to fix this, you need to visit an ENT specialist at a hospital as soon as possible...😉
stormyharbor2 said:🤣 I was actually just thinking someone might get spooked by our conversations. My bad. 😳

It’s really nothing. If you’ve ever had surgery or stitches done abroad, you’ll know the specific numbness I’m talking about... It’s like hitting your funny bone, only much milder. It happens occasionally when I make a certain face or when the weather shifts, like when it gets cold outside.

Define "sports." I used to work out. 🤷

And how long has it been since your surgery? If you’re going to insist on exercising, I wouldn't even start for at least three months. Not before that. And even then, keep it light... no heavy lifting. 🙂
casualgardener21 said:But what about when it gets cold, like in the winter? Do you still feel pain after five years... I heard that's one thing that stays with you, no matter how much time passes since the surgery.

🤷I don't have any pain.🤷 By the way, that doctor from Denver is Dr. Ninković. Some girl mentioned him ages ago; he fixed her sister's lips after Ostojić ruined them during some surgical procedure... left her looking a mess.😢 👎Check the aesthetic surgery section, I think the topic is under Cosmetics somewhere. Look for it, or better yet, just Google him and send an email. Ask about the nose, attach your photo, and be brief about what bothers you. And listen, it's common sense—keep the email short. Don't ramble or waste his time. Just ask what you need to ask.👍
casualgardener21 said:Alright people, what on earth is going on here. Just when I thought the main thing was simply getting through the actual surgery, everyone starts talking about these bizarre side effects... What I really want to know is, is this just temporary or what?? If there are people here who had nose surgery 5 or 10 years ago, please weigh in on when these strange symptoms finally disappear. I just want to reach a day where I forget he was even operated on... where it feels like a natural part of my body, rather than something I can't even touch for the rest of my life.

It’s been about five years for me, and honestly, it passes😉don't worry too much😍, but look, it is still surgery. Like any other procedure, there are risks. Your body might react differently than someone else's; maybe you'll recover quickly, maybe more slowly. No doctor can guarantee that. It is your body—your temple—and only it knows how to handle it... Making sure your immune system is solid before the procedure is vital. And after the surgery? Take care of yourself. No sports for at least six months.😉🙂
Carol Diaz31 The user said:So you're satisfied... that's fine, I suppose... 👍 Mine is getting better by the day. It’s been less than three weeks and I’m already starting to like it... at this rate, I'll probably be obsessed in a few months... 😍

You probably will... though yours might end up being even narrower and smaller. It might not be obvious, but it’s still inflamed and needs time to heal. Just watch yourself so you don't hit your nose... I did that once, and let me tell you, it hurt like hell...🤣I haven't touched a gym in six months because of this brace...🙂

jadedriver0, you’ve got haters, not to mention outdated views... clearly you don't know much about mental health 🙄

People die from depression and bulimia just the same, and it's frankly twisted to make a joke out of it

Listen, honey, don't speak for me and stop putting words in my mouth (this is the second time someone on this thread has tried to claim they're representing my views👎,and I suspect you're the same person from before; it's pathetic, having no opinion of your own unless you're quoting someone else👎). I speak from experience because I understand health, athletics, nutrition, mindset, alternative medicine, and related fields. I know plenty of women who fought their way out of bulimia through sheer willpower, only to realize too late that they lost their partners, friends, teeth, and overall health in the process. Now they're left dealing with lifelong medical issues that "positive thinking" and willpower simply can't fix☕
Regarding your question about which shade of Megan Fox 😍, I keep an eye on this brown hair thread since I have brown hair myself. I’m leaning towards a level 5, though I should probably double-check with my stylist at Ulta to be certain. 😉Look, it’s far too early to judge your nose; it’ll likely change over the next year or so... 🙂As for those people who supposedly wanted to end it all after a failed procedure... well, if a surgeon actually botched the job, I can empathate with their grief 😢(I know plenty of tragic stories like that, and frankly, it infuriates me that the surgeon is still practicing), but if the nose looks fine and they're just nitpicking because they want a carbon copy of someone else's face, then I really don't get them 🤷. Besides, you've completely misread me. I don't feel contempt for anyone 😕, I'm simply incapable of it. I just don't value certain types of people. I don't respect them, but I wish them the best from a distance; I just can't be around them. Their energy is draining... they're nothing more than emotional vampires. ☕
stormyharbor2 said:jadedriver0, you missed my point entirely. It isn't about whether someone is weak or not. Some things are simply beyond control; some people are just born that way. Is a schizophrenic to blame for being ill? No. I am not equating schizophrenia with bulimia, but who are we to decide which mental disorder matters more than another? Those extremely insecure girls you mentioned sound pathological to me. I'm not mocking them, I'm pitying them. Unless, of course, they are just those empty-headed types whose only goal is to become celebrities and be a regular fixture on the Red Carpet... 🤷

P.S. I doubt anyone here expects their life problems to be solved by a nose. At least, I don't.

Forgive the tangent, but I felt compelled to say this.😢

Oh, and perhaps I can actually help you (which would be lovely)🙂, since I see you also have an affinity for brown hair. I usually go for a level 7.0, the shade you were asking about in the other thread; I think it suits you perfectly😉. If you want, I can ask my stylist at the Kerastase salon I visit for the exact shade and let you know?😉
