Every day, I feel a little more content. My nose looks better, and nobody even notices right away (which is a plus 👍), but when they finally do... everyone is just impressed 😍
It wasn't some deep-seated complex or anything, it just bothered me. Now, looking in the mirror, I'm actually happy with what I see 🙂
It shows. You have good energy, and trust me, that will always carry you through. A positive mindset and faith go a long way 👍.
casualgardener21 said:Hey, I also just realized you mentioned some doctor in Austria. Which one? And honestly, I think I’d actually look great with that nose belonging to Dr Philippe Chout that you said was totally different from yours... do you think an actor could even get a nose like that made?
I can't say for sure, and I certainly can't speak for anyone else. My results were wonderful, and I truly believe that's because I was proactive. I didn't just walk in with a celebrity photo and demand a specific look. I explained exactly what I wanted, ensuring the outcome would complement my facial features while maintaining proper function...☕I'll find the brochure and let you know. He's excellent; many people go to him.🙂😉And I don't think he's any more expensive than the surgeons here in the States...🤷
stormyharbor2 said:jadedriver0, you missed my point entirely. It isn't about whether someone is weak or not. Some things are simply beyond control; some people are just born that way. Is a schizophrenic at fault for being ill? I'm not comparing schizophrenia to bulimia, but who are we to decide which mental disorder carries more weight? Those extremely insecure girls you mentioned sound sick to me... and I'm not mocking them, I'm pitying them. Unless, of course, they are those ones whose only goal is to become a celebrity and be a regular on the Red Carpet. Those aren't sick, they're just empty-headed. 🤷
P.S. I doubt anyone here expected their nose to solve their life problems. At least I didn't.
Apologies for the off-topic tangent, but I felt compelled to say this.😢
stormyharbor2, I am always the first one to respond in this thread whenever someone starts mocking others. You know I stepped in a few pages back to support your side during those arguments😉. I cannot stand mockery.☕ But you cannot compare certain illnesses to others🙄. It is tasteless, at best. Someone struggling with an eating disorder can, through sheer willpower, stop putting their fingers in their mouth. A person with a tumor cannot stop its spread through willpower alone. And please, enough with the sarcasm regarding this. You started a conversation that doesn't belong here—not now, not in this space—discussing schizophrenia, anorexia, and bulimia. I am ending that line of thought right here. This is strictly off-topic now. Just tell us how your nose is doing day to day. What changes are you seeing? Is it getting smaller or narrower? Everyone is different, and that is what we actually care about.🙂😉
stormyharbor2 said:I don't give a damn if they're the most attractive. 😉
I have no patience for people who can't laugh at themselves. Before my surgery, I laughed constantly. It’s the same now, just with more composure.
I disagree on one point: insecure people who wear their complexes on their sleeves shouldn't be targets for mockery. That kind of thing can leave lasting psychological scars. I'm speaking from experience. 👎 I will always defend someone being bullied, regardless of the reason.
If you knew those same people were struggling with mental illness, would you still find them funny? Just asking. People today carry so many prejudices against them, especially when dealing with things like anorexia or bulimia. They’re immediately dismissed as shallow airheads who need a reality check because the media brainwashed them with beauty standards, blah, blah... Doesn't that mindset make you just as "shallow" as the people you're judging?🤷
stormyharbor2 finds it easy to take offense. I can't stand weak characters or those who spend their lives waiting for someone else to fix their problems.🙄, nor those who expect a single surgery to fundamentally overhaul their entire existence, only to spiral into depression when everything remains exactly the same.🙄 Since I was eighteen, I've looked after myself. I live alone, pay my own rent, cover my tuition, buy my own clothes... nobody ever handed me anything or smoothed the path for me. When life hit hard—and it has hit hard—I stayed brave. I fought for myself and those close to me. Do I feel pity for people who complain after overindulging? No. I feel for my twenty-five-year-old friend battling a pituitary tumor. I feel for my neighbor fighting lupus.☕ And frankly, I don't see why your last comment was directed at me. Did you think I was talking to you?
Kate Taylor59 said:hahahah just kidding, felt like having a little laugh myself... 🤣
Morning star didn't get nose surgery
You should have added an emoji or something so she'd get the joke. The way you wrote it sounded incredibly condescending, which is why I asked what the point was.☕
It doesn't matter if she had work done. She showed off her nose and cracked a joke. I can't imagine any sane person taking issue with that. She didn't say anything offensive...🙄The ones who are overcompensating are much more laughable. They walk into a room radiating such toxic energy, like an old, broken furnace. No amount of surgery will help people like that. They'll always find a million flaws to obsess over, ruthlessly dissecting themselves until they turn into monsters...🤮I remember seeing Carol Diaz31 with that mold one day. It was refreshing to see someone who actually has substance beyond just their looks. Meanwhile, there were others there who were just pathetic. You honestly can't believe how miserable and insecure some women can be...😲👎
Kate Taylor59 said:Oh, please... that’s exactly why you’re missing the point... [Image link: http://kupus.net/kupus_stari/wwwroot/slike/mozak.jpg]
What was the point of that...🤷
Kate Taylor59 said:Has anyone dealt with Dr. Davor Dzepin before? Is he an ENT too?
By the way... someone like a celebrity can get a perfect nose and whatever else they want, but what’s the point if most people end up losing their actual breathing function... believe me, I've heard stories... and that usually happens when you go to an aesthetic surgeon who isn't an ENT.
Thanks, but no... I'd much rather trust someone like Dr. Gluscu, who is an ENT. He's far away, sure, but at least he isn't a butcher... he does natural noses, not those looks where you resemble a doll... narrow, pointy... basically, plastic.
My breathing is perfectly fine🙂, but I made it clear: functionality comes first, followed by a nose that actually fits my face... it's as simple as that.☕To add to that, it feels like everyone has their own set of pros and cons, which is why it's so difficult to choose the right one—I believe you. Has anyone considered going abroad? I heard there's a fantastic specialist in Austria for this kind of thing.🤷
Carol Diaz31 said:I think the nose in this link is beautiful, but I could never see it on myself.
The same goes for jadedriver0. Her nose is lovely and suits her perfectly, yet I can't imagine it on my own face since mine looks nothing like it.
To me, Britney Spears has a nose that's far too sweet, but I know something like that would look ridiculous and unnatural on me... plus, it would be impossible to replicate.😁
But ultimately, we're all different and everyone has their own taste. I just believe that obsessing over someone else's features leads to poor results. You should focus on correcting and refining your own nose.
That last part is excellent advice for everyone.🙏

As for Britney Spears, her nose is far too cute for my taste, though I know trying to replicate it on me would look ridiculous and unnatural... plus, it would be impossible to achieve.😁
But at the end of the day, we're all different. Tastes vary. I just believe that obsessing over someone else's specific nose leads to bad results. The goal should be to correct flaws and refine one's own nose.
Besides, both you and I have completely different facial structures than Britney, don't we?🤷 I agree her nose is sweet, but on me...🙄🙂🙂
I can't help but wonder why some people still consider going under the knife with someone who already told them they couldn't help...🤷Or why they'd ever return to a surgeon who didn't even truly listen during the initial consultation.😕Personally, I wouldn't. I’d be paralyzed by fear...😲😢When it comes to my own health, I'm an extreme micromanager. I check everything, dissect every detail, and analyze every outcome. There is simply no room for impulsive decisions in my life.
Rachel Rivera19 said:Yeah, they aren't exactly a fairy tale to me either. There are changes, sure, but nothing dreamy. Honestly, I haven't seen anyone with decent noses like the ones in that link... around here, it’s all just botched Jackson jobs👎 or nothing changing at all. Does anyone actually have a nose like this stunning girl in the link?
Look, if you're this obsessed with New York City, just reach out to him via email. Save up your cash and go.👍But there's no guarantee he'll give you the result you want. It could be a total disaster on your face. A nose can change over a year or even longer... he might do the exact same thing, but for your specific face or body, it could end up looking completely wrong...☕
Rachel Rivera19 said:Yeah, they aren't exactly a fairy tale to me either. Changes happen, but it's not some dream come true. Honestly, I haven't seen anyone with a decent nose like the one in that link... around here, it's all just bad plastic surgery👎 or nothing at all. Does anyone actually have a nose like this beautiful girl in the link?
It might sound arrogant, but I don't have her nose, and yet I think mine is actually better. Carol Diaz31 has seen me—maybe I'm biased because I'm happy with how it looks and think it's perfect, who knows🤷... but I am genuinely satisfied. Not a single complaint. (Carol Diaz31, feel free to be honest🤣). In fact, I wanted exactly what she has, but looking at her now compared to myself, I realize I would have made a mistake. It wouldn't suit me. I'm incredibly stubborn, and thank Bog I listened to my gut. It was as if Bog himself guided me away from a disaster.🙂
Rachel Rivera19 said:Hey everyone. I've been scrolling through this forum endlessly, looking at all the photos and videos. Honestly, I'm also considering rhinoplasty—purely cosmetic. My breathing is fine, none of those medical issues people keep bringing up here. But the amount of advice is just overwhelming. Go to this surgeon, go to that one, this guy did this for me, that guy did that... It's just too much info. I had a consultation recently, though the conversation was pretty subpar. I asked to see what my results might look like, but he refused, claiming you can never truly know... I don't understand how someone with thousands of procedures and years of aesthetic training can claim they don't know. I showed him a reference photo, and he told me there was no way to achieve that look because our skin types are different—mine is thicker. I disagree. Based on everything I've researched, he's wrong. I'd love to post a photo, but I'm not sure 😂... and I found some before and after videos online...🙂
Listen, if you insist on having your way and ruin your life, no one is going to take the blame. You made the choice ☕ 👎. Your face is public property, and that’s a heavy reality. I remember once at a Hemingway cafe in Malibu, everyone reacted when this girl walked in with a nose so narrow it looked almost glued together, something resembling La Toya Jackson. People were mercilessly mocking her😠. If I hadn't stepped in out of pity and told them to back off, I don't know... she was mortified, and I felt for her partner, too. Whatever...👎☕Some people are just animals. Pure animals.😠 😢
Carol Diaz31 said:In my opinion, you can never truly know for sure. 🤷 A surgeon might see if your nose can be reshaped, but they can't predict exactly how the tissue will settle or change during recovery.
It’s best to get a second opinion. My advice? Don't push for a specific look if multiple doctors tell you it isn't possible. If you do, you'll just end up disappointed...
Every single one of my friends who went to a surgeon with nothing but photos ended up hating the results because they were chasing an identical look. It's better to be specific. If you want something smaller or narrower, tell them: "I want a small nose that fits my facial features," or "I want a narrow nose that suits my face." Ask them what they suggest to achieve the best outcome. That’s how I handled it. He laid out five different options. There's my advice... take it or leave it.☕
Carol Diaz31 said:It really is a rarity these days... two strangers just striking up a conversation without hesitation. 🙂 Honestly, I had already picked up on certain details while the story was unfolding... but it felt foolish to actually ask. 😁 But honestly, what's the harm? It’s worth listening to advice from someone who has actually been through the ringer... especially someone who dealt with this five years ago and has the seniority to prove it. There is no need to rush into desperation or start obsessing over another surgery just yet. When I first caught my reflection in the mirror, I wanted to scream... 😳 I’m feeling significantly better today. Honestly... I don't regret a thing. It only makes me happier to come back here and read the hundredth comment about how much smaller his nose has become... 😍
I’ll confirm this just so jadedriver0 doesn't get to spend the whole time bragging... 😛 Her nose is stunning. I truly believe the most critical part of the entire process is being incredibly specific with your surgeon about exactly what you want... No. If you actually want to hear what can and cannot be done, then fine... but there shouldn't be any complaints afterward... 😉
It was a rather amusing situation...🙂Listen, I recall you mentioning how you felt when you first caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror...😲🤣I couldn't manage anything. I wasn't even able to wash my hair properly. It took a full two weeks before I felt somewhat recovered, though the exhaustion was absolute... After all, one undergoes surgery, not a blowout at a salon...😍You have to listen to the surgeon. I tried arguing my case with him, but he wouldn't budge... Honestly, looking back, I should have just done what he said. If I hadn't been so stubborn, I wouldn't have made such a mess of things...
Kate Taylor59 said:I'm thinking about scheduling the surgery in Malibu... but I have my high school graduation coming up and it feels awkward... if I went soon, would I actually look normal after just two weeks?
You’re overthinking this. You’ll still be sore in two weeks; if someone even bumps into you, you won't feel great🤷. Just wait a bit. What’s the rush? It’s not like you’re heading to the barber for a haircut😕.🙄🤷Looking back at how I felt before my own procedure, I was preparing like I was being deployed to Iraq on a peacekeeping mission🤣. I delayed everything until I was certain about my surgeon, my physical health—which is vital for the outcome—and whether I was mentally prepared rather than just terrified and agitated☕.
Reading this post by febles, all I can say is that Smith reminds me exactly of Ostojic🙄. That guy told some girl the exact same nonsense—claiming he was swamped with work, yet somehow had an opening for her as early as tomorrow... yeah, right.🙄 And the idiot actually listened to him. She went to see him and he completely trashed her. I feel terrible for her... just a bunch of fools, the lot of them.😠😠
stormyharbor2, dear, and everyone else. I had my nose done about five years ago. It looked fine after the first year, but looking back at old photos now, everything seems smaller and narrower😍. Apparently, some people—myself included, clearly—need much more time for things to settle. So, don't be dense and spend your time hunting for flaws😲 in what is😲 perfectly fine. It feels like some people just look for any tiny reason to nitpick, probably just to obsess over it until they end up looking like Michael Jackson. And honestly, who can blame them if the world laughs at you? People can be merciless when they notice a clear surgical change and immediately label you as insecure...👎But those who are truly fragile, unrealistic, or obsessed with being a carbon copy of someone else, will never find peace. That lack of self-worth is baked into them.😢As The Goddess might say, I was the first one to reach out to her. I genuinely enjoy helping, offering advice, lifting people up, and sharing a laugh. It makes me feel good. We should focus on that, rather than turning ourselves into some surgically altered monster.🤷😢To wrap this up—and this isn't directed at you specifically, just general advice for everyone—the little things matter. Good makeup, nice nails, stylish clothes, a smile... Just let your nose heal for at least two years, and then you'll see the real results, just like I did!👍
rustygardener172 said:It’s interesting that you assume I’m some young girl without children... 😁
Are you kidding me...🙂Just play dumb and soak up the praise...🙂You don't always have to spill everything. You know how Nanny Fin stays twenty-nine every single year...🙂[claps]
