Carol Parker57 said:Your photos actually hurt my feelings. What you wrote just seems comical to me... he'll probably be reading this tomorrow.🤣

You completely miss the point. There is such a thing as decency. If I went out of my way to send you photos of my face upon your request, I expect at least a polite response to my question.

But fine, whatever.

And wasn't stormyharbor2 the one telling girls that a small nose doesn't suit everyone and that such a nose wouldn't look right on her face?? Now, suddenly, a small nose is the issue. Fine, not my problem, I'm just observing.

edit—Kate Taylor59, your inbox is full. I can't answer your question there.

What is there left to say? Here is a universal truth: don't get worked up. Save your nerves. You're going to need them for your later years.🤣
casualgardener21 said:I finally tracked down the identity of that "mysterious" doctor. I don't understand why she wouldn't just drop the name publicly... Anyway, I reached out to a girl who Dalia messaged privately, and it turns out he's just some minor actress. Honestly, it's a bit disappointing. He's got that whole 'Miss Piggy' nose going on...

Personally, I think his nose is fine. Definitely doesn't remind me of Miss Piggy at all😛.😁The key is knowing how to emphasize what you want while actually following his advice. Thank God I listened to him🙏. If I had stayed stubborn and insisted on doing things my way, I’d probably be crawling through the dirt right now...👍

I was just being an absolute sweetheart, clearly... purple is my color 😁
Honestly... I received instructions for everything, from diet plans to behavioral guidelines. And no matter how much we think we know or how prepared we feel before surgery, it’s still somewhat encouraging when you're sitting there with a broken nose and someone with a perfect nose tells you it'll all pass quickly 😍

You were brave, and you should be proud of that 👍 and like I told you then, it all passes. It hurts like hell, but there's a certain lift in realizing you actually endured something like this 😉
rustygardener172 said:If you want to believe that... fine... but I didn't just send it out of nowhere. I sent it because we were talking and you wanted to see what the outcome looked like—the picture speaks for itself. 😁

But yes... casualcanyon14 made a fair point. You need patience. Wait that full year for the nose to settle before making any final judgments... It’s better that way. Just try not to think about it until then... 😂

Ladies, just wait a few more months. There's no sense in stressing yourselves out. Save your nerves for when your own kids come to you asking for nose jobs. 🙂🙂 🤣
I happened to spot Carol Diaz31 by chance, and then I saw her again after her procedure—my sweet little thing😍. Tell me, how did I comfort you and give you advice before your mother saw us😉? 😍Back then, we had no idea we’d end up typing on the same forums; we only made that connection last night.🤣The world is just too small.🙂
Carol Parker57 said:Is stormyharbor2's new nose some kind of phantom limb? I honestly don't know if anyone has even seen it. Does it exist? Did she actually go through with surgery? What is going on here...
There are just too many questions regarding stormyharbor2's nose. A total mystery...😁

On another note, stormyharbor2, I hope you're happy with the results, or will be soon. I can't say for sure if you are, since I can only guess. You sent me a DM, I replied politely with photos and explanations, and then you just "politely" ignored me...

😕🙄Or maybe she just doesn't like you, so she didn't feel like engaging. Honestly, give me a break. It's like we're back in middle school acting like "she sent me a message and then blew me off." Please... enough with this nonsense.🙄 🤣
Carol Diaz31 said:That’s what I was told too... fine, I won't bother, thanks. 😉

If Glumicic had actually been someone I needed to see, I would have gone... damn the money I wasted just to end up nowhere😛:but I'll stay quiet. It's all behind me now. It happened, it's over, goodbye...😁
Carol Diaz31 said:Ladies (and guys 😁), how many of you actually went for lymphatic drainage or massages after surgery?
I've been reading about it being common here, but I asked my doctor at my checkup today. He told me I don't need anything and shouldn't touch the area...🤷

Carol Diaz31, I need info regarding my mother. DM me.😉
stormyharbor2 said:Every girl I know loves wearing them. 😬

I'm not buying it. 😁 Just noses, among several other equally bizarre things... 😂

Maybe the men reading this thread will reconsider their stance. 🤣

As if.😛 I wouldn't want anything shortened on men either.😛😁
Emily Reed51 said:I absolutely love how diverse tastes can be. In my opinion, they should both just carry on being themselves.
...which leads me to conclude that even someone like me, with all my quirks, might actually appeal to someone out there, haha...

Personally, when I see a guy with a small, perfectly symmetrical nose—especially if he’s overly groomed or trying too hard to look "metro"—I feel a sudden urge to deck him. They just look ridiculous to me. I prefer a man who actually looks like a man: tall, deep voice, a prominent nose, strong brows.😛😁 🤣And let's not forget, he needs solid hands and broad shoulders.🙏 🤣Where did our story go, stormyharbor2?😂
stormyharbor2 said:Exactly. 😁

Crispin Glover
Richard Armitrage

😍

Uh, the other one...:🙂🙂😁
stormyharbor2 said:It’s just because he jumped into the thread right when you mentioned him. 😬 Honestly, I don't care if someone is from Germany, the USA, North Mexico, or Romania; people come here because it's more affordable, and there are surgeons here who perform just as well as those in developed places like the States. No offense intended, but I've mentioned before that I have an aversion to certain things—advertising, trying to look clever, forcing an opinion on people... It all just irritates me. 🤣

Truth. Thank you. 😘

I agree. I hate blatant self-promotion and can't stand it. You can tell within a single paragraph that it's just fucking advertising.🙄
stormyharbor2 said:It’s just because he jumped into the thread right when you brought him up. 😬 Honestly, I don't care if someone is from Germany, the USA, North Mexico, or Romania; people come here because it's more affordable, and the surgeons perform just as well as anyone in a developed country like the States. No offense intended, but I've mentioned before that I have an aversion to certain things—aggressive advertising, being made to look foolish, or having an opinion shoved down my throat. It all just rubs me the wrong way. 🤣

True. Thank you. 😘

I agree. I can't stand people pushing things on you. You can tell within a single mile of reading it that it's just fucking advertising.🙄
Kate Taylor59 said:😕 In my opinion, he was the perfect candidate for the operation...

And besides, taste is entirely subjective😉. Personally, I find a strong nose, thick eyebrows, and a piercing gaze quite attractive. Everyone has their own specific aphrodisiac...😍
Sorry Jasmin you, in my opinion, you shouldn't have gone under the knife for a nose job🤷, I've always found men with smaller noses quite amusing; the more pronounced the features, the more masculine the man seems to me🙂🙂. But if you're happy with the result, then fine😉.🙂
I have a question for the group, if anyone happens to know the answer. Is it okay to get braces put on a month after nose surgery? My mother is asking about it... If someone knows, please let me know. Or, if you happen to be seeing a surgeon soon, could you ask them for me? I’d appreciate being kept in the loop since I'm completely in the dark here.🤷☕
I was chatting with my future maid of honor the other day. She was telling me how some of these plastic surgeons have developed a real taste for easy money. They barely even bother with an exam; they just look at you, figure out how to grab the cash, and show you the door. If Glumičić had ever treated me like that, I wouldn't have even reached for my knife... I would have just cut him off completely.🙄The only reason I ever saw him was because I actually listened to his advice. He was incredibly polite when he suggested his own approach. Honestly, if I hadn't insisted on my own ridiculous little demands😁, things might have gone differently, because it turns out he was right all along. Now, I'm genuinely worried about my friend. She’s seeing Zambell in two months. He’s done great work for plenty of people, so I can only hope he doesn't screw her over...😢😢😢
Kate Taylor59 said:Ugh... I'm not sure anymore... It feels like Tončić isn't even an option for me...
Zambelli is absolutely destroying those women... He uses such blunt methods, it's actually terrifying...

Give me the details on what Zambelli is doing. I'm planning to visit him soon myself... already paid the deposit...😠🙄 😲 😢It’s infuriating. Makes it seem like every doctor in this country is a hack...😠Dammit, it's like we're just sitting ducks...😠
rustygardener172 said:I've heard it clears up on its own. Will it just fade away without any drainage? I mean, things move faster with drainage... but if there isn't any, does it just take longer?

I hope it clears up🤷. Just get moving. Search for cosmetic clinics in your area and talk to the staff. I'm not sure if you should see an esthetician or a dermatologist🤷. Ask around. Call a few doctors, a few specialists. You have nothing to lose...😉
rustygardener172 said:It takes about a year for the nose to fully recover from surgery (mucosa takes closer to two years... provided you aren't constantly blasting it with nasal sprays)... so why not continue with massages? 😁 It won't hurt anything; if anything, it helps. 😁 You massage the nose to prevent the skin from sticking to the structure—due to excess skin from the reduction and reshaping—and to help the swelling subside faster... At least, that’s my understanding. But jadeddriver0 probably knows more since she was there for the lymphatic drainage... honestly, I'm no expert. She asked, but still no answer... come on, jadeddriver0... it's time... 😁

Hey honey, I must have missed the question earlier, sorry. 🙂 😉 Basically, drainage helps prevent those bumps that often show up in the lower part of the nose. You know what I mean, when someone ends up with a flat bridge but then a bulge near the tip... I don't even know how to describe it. 🤣 And of course, for a faster recovery and better sensation, I highly recommend it. We can't exactly replicate what a specialist shows us after surgery. Just go to a decent esthetician, ask around, and call it a day. 👍 🙏
