I’m trying to hook up two monitors to my laptop, but I need them to be extended displays, not just mirroring what's on my screen. The problem is my laptop only has one crappy VGA port.

I've been digging around online about getting an external GPU, but honestly, that sounds like a massive headache.
I also saw some stuff saying you can just go USB to VGA?

Anyone actually messed around with this before? My laptop has three USB ports, so does that mean I could theoretically plug in three monitors that way?

So, long story short: I need to get two monitors running off one laptop with an extended desktop setup. Technically, that would give me three screens total: monitor 1, monitor 2, and the laptop itself.

Honestly, for what I need right now, I'll probably just hit up a local FedEx Office or a print shop where they charge like a dime per page. It's easier.

BTW, why on earth don't printer prices just be based on a simple cost-per-page metric?! 🎉

- High volume, roughly 5,000 pages a month
- Don't care about WiFi, scanners, or any of that extra junk

The first one caught my eye because it actually has built-in speakers (though they probably sound like crap) and you can watch TV on it—from what I gather, you just plug in a coaxial cable from an antenna. That's a huge deal for me, honestly. Being able to watch TV right on the monitor is a major factor here. I really want to know if it's worth ditching the TV option and just going with the Dell instead. Is the extra quality worth losing the TV functionality?
