We’re posting here until August 30th, then it's time to vote... Anyone who actually put in the work will get turned into some kind of project, and everyone gets a shot at winning... I don't know. A chance to start something better than me or anyone else who's been here before. 🙂
If there was an actual prize involved, maybe people would actually try. 😉

That actually fits your theory perfectly. It’s wild... I often head out to this spot in the mountains where there are cliffs with eagle nests. Down in the lower woods, you’ve got those crows, the black ones. Sometimes an eagle catches a thermal and drifts too close to where the crows hang out. They swarm him, but never just one—it's always a mob. The eagle basically just ignores them, though. He's the king for a reason. Those birds only have power because they're in a group. 😁
Spot on.👍
Honestly, the eagle won't even touch them; he just flies by and they get spooked. One loud caw from them and
they immediately start acting up and attacking.
And he isn't lost, either. He’s just scouting his territory. He knows exactly what’s going on where. Like you said, he's the boss. 😉
Watching animals is pretty fascinating regardless. 👍
When eagles have chicks, sometimes a little one ends up falling out of the nest. You never really know if it was bullied by a stronger sibling or if the parents just kicked it out.
It's just natural selection. Happens with birds, really with most animals. They can't afford to waste energy on the weak when they've got other young to look after.

@duco I’m liking that you’re a fan of the Eagles 🙂
What really gets me is watching the young ones fly in the spring. They’re just starting out, totally clumsy, definitely not gliding like pros yet. You watch them stumble through these awkward attempts at hovering. Everyone’s trying to find their own space, bumping into each other, crashing, then getting back up... If you actually pay attention, you’ll see a single speck high above them all—the parent eagle just watching. They aren't interfering or crowding them, but they've got eyes on everything. Just waiting for the right moment to dive in if things go south.
It just shows how love can be perfectly synced, lasting, and built entirely on freedom.

Today’s the last day for this thread, so I’m tossing in some final stories. I didn't change a thing, so hopefully nobody’s going to start complaining just so we can finally wrap this whole thing up. 🙂

Queen's struggle
Look, I don't know, I'm just trying to find some peace and quiet.
Louise 🙂
The whole "fighting for a woman" thing has always seemed ridiculous to me. You try, you fail, you move on—seems like most people go that route anyway. You see ten women fighting over one guy; it’s laughable to me. Some even seem okay with sharing him, which honestly sounds twisted. Women end up acting like wolves toward each other just to get a man.
Women want to be men nowadays. Roles have gotten totally flipped. A woman was meant to be a mother and run the home, while men handle the heavy lifting. That still holds true since you don't see women out on construction sites or in mechanic shops. But now, there's this constant pressure for men to stay home, clean, cook, and babysit. It’s just not natural for them, and that's why most guys eventually crack or just become feminized.
Hey babe, did your man dump you for someone else, or am I just imagining things? My lips are sealed.
Look, if he wasn't worth your time, then he wasn't worth your time. That's just how it goes. Though, let's be real, those guys you all obsess over usually have a whole rotation of women waiting in line.
My struggle is just not being a housewife, just like Michelle Bennett14.
That's why I like Louise; she stays home.
Glad I missed out on that guy, but I have no idea what you're getting at, man.
Fighting for your own peace of mind is the only thing that matters.
I'm just struggling to survive my job, is that allowed?
Life is a struggle.🧐

Michael's revolution
I don't think the struggle itself sparks creativity. But once things settle down—once those emotions from the previous struggle aren't burning so bright inside you—maybe something creative can grow from that cool aftermath, if the person actually has a knack for it. Maybe! Just throwing ideas out there, haven't really thought about it deeply.
Unless it looks like this... 😁
The person who fights for a peaceful (but definitely not static) life is the richest man on earth.
Look at Bandic's millions (or billions) spent on a restless life; it cost him his heart. At least when he had some cash, he could have traveled the world (so much to see), organized conferences to drone on, write funny memoirs... instead, he just chased even more.![]()
All sorts of bad people, even killers, were great artists.
A good round of oil wrestling would be fun to watch!![]()
Oops! Wrong link. I meant this one. 🤣
Ahhhh, no matter how hard I try, I can't escape my nature 🤣
I've already got a story, but it's not chatroom material since it started as just a joke and some nonsense. You probably noticed I used to sign off as Master. 😁![]()
If we're doing oil wrestling, I'm in for the arena.
That's what I'm talking about! Now, about that oil wrestling...
I don't know much about oils, but virgin olive oil sounds most appropriate...
Promise you'll film some wrestling and send the video to my inbox.

Strange signs along the road
Is there actually anything creative about a struggle, fundamentally?
Look at it this way.
A struggle for territory just brings chaos and suffering.
A conflict between two women just leads to mockery.
Fighting for your health is exhausting because you aren't just physically wounded—you're draining your emotional and mental strength too.
The struggle within oneself... like a painter who can't paint, or a writer who can't write.
And so on.
Creativity—actual creation—comes from a healthy starting point, where overflowing energy is looking for a way out.
Anyway, just my thoughts.
That was my first reaction... when I saw the title.
Don Quixote is right.😁
A peaceful man (not someone stagnant, but someone with actual peace in his soul) will always choose to solve a problem first.
Bad motives always lead to ruin.
It's just a law of nature.
That's why I wrote that true creation comes from a healthy foundation.
Something that doesn't threaten us or anyone else, and actually has an inspiring effect.
A forgotten challenge.
Let me help a little.🙂
Don Quixote and the struggle against windmills.
Noble madness.
If you haven't read the book, there's a movie...
