...so, what's the news with you, Wikiceh?
Nothing much of note 😁
The Kids had chickenpox—they've mostly moved past it, though the youngest hasn't caught it yet 🙂
We've been hugging her, coddling her, keeping a close eye on her 🤣
I suppose there's still time; the incubation period is quite extensive.
My eldest should have a theater performance this weekend—that should be interesting 😁
How are things with you? What's new? 😁

The kids had chickenpox—more or less moved past that stage... though the youngest hasn't quite caught up yet. 🙂
They pampered her, coddled her... kept her under lock and key, really... 🤣
I mean, there’s still plenty of time left—the incubation period is actually pretty long...
My oldest should have some kind of theater performance this weekend—it might actually be interesting... 😁
How are you doing... what's actually going on with you? 😁
Now that you’ve brought up shrimp... my husband and I were actually just debating the other day whether now would be the perfect time to get our little one sorted out—you know, getting them settled into daycare—but apparently, it's clearly not the season for enrollment... though I'm sure it'll happen, right when they're ready...
Doing alright over here—just hanging out with the family... the kid is already counting down the seconds until summer break starts, and honestly, between her and the little one hitting me with like 1,800 questions an hour... it’s a lot. My husband grabbed some takeout today so we all just sat around and hung out together...
I'm doing alright—well, mostly. Aside from the shrimp, which I wouldn't mind seeing on the menu tomorrow too, provided they’re actually healthy, smart, and satisfied... if they can manage that, then maybe I'll be happy too...
Grab a small bouquet of flowers for the performance—you know, just something simple once everything wraps up...

They coddled her, pampered her, watched her every move—as if any amount of attention could actually change things. 🤣
I mean, there's still time—the incubation period is long enough.
Wiki, the kids had a shrimp party. 😁
Olivia Sullivan68 said:Now that you mention shrimp... my husband and I were actually just debating the other day how perfect the timing would be to let our little guy handle it—but apparently, it’s just not the right season at preschool.
It’s peak season at my preschool right now. 🙂 Not exactly great, is it?

I'm doing well—just enjoying time with the family... the girl is counting down the days until summer break, and the kid has about 1,800 questions per hour... my husband grabbed some takeout today, so we've been hanging out...
It’s great—with the exception of those shrimp, which would be welcome any day; I just hope they stay healthy, smart, and happy... and that I do, too.
Maybe pick up a small bouquet for the performance—you know, once everything wraps up.
Sounds like fun 👍
It should be a blast—the little one is really looking forward to it. 😁

George Cook31 said:Is this that thing where you say something she actually relates to, which ends up bothering her, so she catches you off guard, insults you, and then later acts like you're the problem even though, objectively speaking, she was ten times worse than you?
I've dealt with my fair share of people like that. :he kla:
Adam Lee13 said:And now if you write something negative based on actual experience just four or five times, they immediately label you as some misogynistic jerk or a man-hater, and then they just tear you apart from every angle.
God forbid you actually snap back after being insulted seven or eight times; the second you defend yourself, suddenly you're just some low-life troll.
That’s basically what they kept doing to me over there. Looking back, I wasn't even directly insulting anyone; I was just making specific points or talking about general stuff—mostly getting into those debates about lookism and jawlines, which quickly turned into its own little sub-thread where I spent most of my time. Honestly, I didn't really post anywhere else on this site except for that one spot, so if I wasn't their cup of tea, they could have easily just ignored me. But nooo, they kept coming back specifically to pick at me collectively, and once I started pushing back, it was all "oh, there are problems on this site."
Basically, I was expecting some kind of warning or maybe a short suspension before anything serious happened, like a partial ban.
Instead, they went behind my back and just slapped me with a partial ban. It’s wild how they act like they're handing out pink slips in real life.☕

Now that I actually sit back and think about it, I wasn't even out here attacking people directly; I was just being specific or talking broad, mostly diving into that whole lookism or jawline debate where I ended up getting my own dedicated thread to mess around in. Honestly, I barely posted anywhere else on this site except for that one spot, so if someone didn't like my vibe, they could have easily just ignored me. But nooo, they kept crawling in there just to collectively poke at me, and then when I finally started biting back, suddenly everyone starts whining about "problems on the US site."
Basically, I was bracing myself for some kind of sanction, maybe even a partial ban, but I figured there’d be a warning first or maybe just a few days off.
Instead, they went behind my back and pulled the partial ban out of nowhere. It’s almost like how people hand out terminations in real life. ☕
They totally set you up, did a bit of lobbying behind the scenes and all that... I managed to slip through unscathed, even though my name came up too... I've been posting here since 2008 (this is my third or fourth handle), and I've asked to be permanently banned from the forums more times than I can count. They never once granted my wish.
Anida and that guerrilla-style Perpetona are the main ringleaders behind this purge; everyone else was just following their lead. Don't blame them when you don't know how to organize or strike back. You're playing right into their hands.
Hint... take advantage of the beef between Anida and honeychild....

It’s all just jokes—honestly, kindergarten level stuff 🤔
God, someone really needs to stop coming up with these ridiculous scenarios in the virtual world 🤣
wanderingheron9 seriously wasn't bothering anyone; they just picked on him for no reason—just a massive, mindless pile-on...

Look, wanderingheron9, I think most people find this sudden partial ban totally uncalled for, but I can see why you wouldn't be surprised by the lack of warnings or a temporary ban before hitting the big button.
The folks over at Wikicehi, on the other hand, think the whole thing makes "zero sense." Can you walk us through your logic? Why did you feel like sanctions were inevitable at some point?
Thanks.^^

The Wikicehi crowd thinks the whole thing makes zero sense. Maybe you could explain why you expected some kind of sanctions to happen eventually?
Thanks. ^^

You’re doing the same thing. Both in public and in private, we were communicating perfectly normally. But once you started with all that sulking and pouting—or whatever way you want to label it—it was obvious to you, to me, and to everyone else that you were just overreacting. It’s as if the issue is simply standing your ground and trying to have a civilized conversation with people.
Please.

Kate Cox15 said:Same goes for you. We were communicating totally normally, both in public and privately. Once you started with that brooding, sulking stuff—or whatever you call it—everyone knew you were just overreacting.
If everyone knew, then I guess what was the issue? 😁
The problem is just standing your ground and trying to have a civilized conversation with people.
People take this forum way too seriously.
#335 ·
quietcrane63 said:So—when exactly did everyone realize what the actual issue was? 😁
It’s pretty obvious—someone had to be picking a fight here, right? 🙂
quietcrane63 said:You all take this forum way too seriously.
Either they aren't being serious—or they simply don't care. 😲
Pure hate speech directed at anyone who doesn't share the same opinion. 🙂
Like I said—I just don't get people like that.
How shallow can someone actually be—or is it just pure malice—to jump in a group just to pile on someone they don't even know in a virtual space?
That’s it. 🙂
Completely. 🙂
Listen, you really need to watch what you say—people can take things way too personally. You might be talking to someone you have absolutely zero connection with, let alone any actual contact. 🤣
#336 ·
quietcrane63 said:If everyone already knew what was going on, then where's the issue? 😁
You guys are taking this forum way too seriously.
The thing is, both you and I have proven we can actually communicate like decent, polite human beings and understand one another.
So why aren't we moving in that direction?
@Anthony Nguyen81, if you have something to say to me, just say it directly or shut up. I don't get the whole passive-aggressive routine 🤷.
#337 ·
Anthony Nguyen81 said:It’s pretty obvious they had to be arguing with someone, right? 🙂
Or maybe just being immature. 😲
Literally just hate speech directed at anyone who doesn't agree with them. 🙂
Like I said, I don't get people like that.
I guess it takes a certain level of shallowness, or just plain malice, to pile on a stranger online for no reason.
It’s just... 🙂
Completely 🙂 Pointless.
Look, you should probably watch what you say because someone might take it personally. Someone you have zero connection to and have never even spoken to. 🤣
They couldn't care less about hate speech, taking things personally, or using vulgar language. They just want everyone to talk about whatever they want—what they ate for lunch, what they cooked, whatever.

I think I might just have to steal this picture from you. 🙏

So why not just head in that direction?
So, you gonna back down now?😁

Everyone's gonna be giving you hell, druze Syl, if you keep acting this crazy 🙂.
