My grandma was a WWII veteran who used to sing 🙂 🥳but I don't recall her ever singing any old war songs 😳

Man, she just sits there chatting away with her husband, being all sweet and making sure he’s fed, even though he passed away 25 years ago 😢
If you try to remind her, it’s like it all happens again—she just breaks down every single time 😢so we don't even bring it up anymore 😢
