Maybe I’m just an idiot. A complete fool. But I want to be better because, frankly, I care about her more than I can put into words. I find myself falling for her, and it’s been a long time since I’ve actually felt happy being with someone. Today, I hurt her—it wasn't intentional, but that doesn't change anything. It matters to me. 😞

You’ve gotta record the situation first, gauge the scale of everything, and then you'll get your results

A little bit of sunny romance

DJ Khaled - Sun Love

When I take a look back at my life,
everything looks pretty dark except for you.
You’re really the only bright spot left.

I was wandering down some seriously wrong paths,
making mistakes faster than I could count.
That was back when you weren't by my side.

Chorus 2x
It hit me right away, honestly.
Every single other person...
they were just distractions I'm actually ashamed of.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm no saint.
Just an average guy stumbling through life,
totally blind to what was right in front of me.
But you? It's always been you, my Sun Love.

I can't even tell you what I was chasing.
Maybe I just wasn't mature enough yet,
to actually give myself to someone without thinking of me first.

They all had their way with me,
leaving me a total mess in the end.
And after everything? I still ended up alone.

Look, the most important thing when you mess up is apologizing and then moving forward on a positive note. Empathic people—and if she gets offended this easily, let's assume she is—tend to feed off other people's energy.

If she doesn't snap out of it within a reasonable timeframe and things don't go back to normal (two weeks max), then she’s just insecure. In that case, drop the whole idea of a happy life with someone like that.

Today hasn't been much better; I ended up hurting someone I really didn't want to. 😐

Once words are spoken, they drift away like feathers in the wind, impossible to reclaim.
It's far too late for tears now. 😳

Grab a massive box of Ferrero Rocher https://sc02.alicdn.com/kf/UTB8E1I_k...k-supplies.jpg and go beg for her forgiveness. ☕

Just whatever you do, don't pull the whole "I'll kill myself over you" card. Don't go there.
If you ask me? Just go jump off a bridge. Pretty sure she'd appreciate the peace and quiet. 🤣

Time is really just a concept, isn't it? What actually matters is finding that peace within yourself. It's so important to hold off on making any big moves until you can truly smile from the soul.

Scott Nguyen5 is almost hitting the nail on the head here, though he could have phrased it with a bit more finesse.🕺

Just don't claim you're going to end it all because of her. Don't play that card.
Honestly, I'd say just go ahead and do it; I bet she wouldn't even care.🤣

Exactly!
It's the absolute dumbest thing when someone tries to pull that move.
It honestly makes you want to punch them.☕

People ruin their relationships because they’re too subtle. They expect their partners to be mind readers just because they're terrified of actually facing the truth.

There are certain things for which an apology simply isn't enough. Some lines are never meant to be crossed, and some mistakes are unforgivable. Once those boundaries are violated, there is no talking about apologies, acceptance, or getting back to a friendly status quo.

Unfortunately, you've hit the nail on the head.
That's just one more lesson life tends to teach us eventually.

Kimberly Perez19 said:Some things are simply beyond explanation. There are lines you don't cross and boundaries you don't mess with. Once those are broken, apologies and "moving forward" become irrelevant. It's over.

Come on, loosen up just a little. 🕺 (even
Sal would probably tell you the same thing)

Come on, give it a rest already. Just back off a little bit. 🕺
I suspect Sal would probably tell you the exact same thing.

I happen to know exactly what's going on here. He hurt a friend of mine, and if he were anywhere near my neighborhood, I’d make it my personal mission to wipe him off the map.

I have personally experienced what it means when someone wounds you so deeply that there is simply no longer any room for discussion regarding apologies or moving past it with a lighthearted attitude.

I’ve experienced it firsthand: when someone crosses a line that deep, an apology becomes a moot point. There is no "moving past it" or returning to business as usual once the damage is done.

Hit where it hurts; the impact is stronger. 😉

That’s just your subjective take, and honestly, it feels pretty intolerant and hard to follow. 😛

Understanding why someone crossed the line is different from how they did it. That's what empathy is for.
