Furthermore, Vettel dealt with an ICE issue, which I believe has persisted through six races now.

But no, Bottas, PLEASE HELP!!! 🤣🤣🤣

And Ferrari has the edge.
Just look at how Lewis Hamilton is driving; it might actually hurt Sebastian Vettel during the race. Instead of just focusing on his own line...

Lewis Hamilton is really his own worst enemy here. He has all the cards, yet he could still blow it at the finish line. Sebastian Vettel isn't Nico Rosberg and he doesn't back down, but he can be pretty reckless too...
I'm just worried the FIA might end up deciding the championship themselves...

dustyskipper77 said:Lewis Hamilton is an absolutely phenomenal driver, there's no denying his talent on the track, but honestly, he acts like such a child. He’s just a spoiled brat through and through...
Sebastian Vettel has such a hot temper, which feels completely out of character when I think back to his days driving for Red Bull Racing...
The core issue here is that the FIA seems to be siding with Mercedes-Benz, given they currently possess the faster and more reliable car...
Sebastian Vettel is teetering on the edge of disqualification, and it looks like they’ll likely be facing a turbo penalty in the upcoming races as well. Kimi Räikkönen just isn't providing any support right now, so if Vettel actually wants a shot at the championship, he really needs to keep his cool and stay focused...
It looks like things are shaping up to be quite a positive weekend, and I honestly think Mercedes-Benz is the favorite to come out on top...
I am truly happy for Lance Stroll, even though he missed out by just a few feet at the very end. Esteban Ocon is an absolute sensation behind the wheel, and Daniel Ricciardo proved once again that he knows exactly how to squeeze every bit of potential out of any given situation...
If only we could see more races like this one...

Kimi Räikkönen managed to outqualify Sebastian Vettel, and he even managed to jump Valtteri Bottas right at the start. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after that when a "racing incident" wiped him completely out of the race... I mean, honestly, what a waste of talent... 🙂

Man, I love Kimi Räikkönen, but he always finds a way to mess things up. He’s solid in qualifying, then he completely blows the start and the restart after the SC... he just seems to drift through the race, and at best, he’s just there to help Sebastian Vettel since Valtteri Bottas has been doing that from the jump. That's why they praise him over at Mercedes-Benz...

So now it's Valtteri Bottas's fault because he clipped the curb and had nowhere to go when Kimi Räikkönen was right there on his flank.

It’s a miracle he didn’t hit a stray bag of chips; then we’d have a real disaster on our hands and half the grid would be looking at a morality check...😁

But seriously, you tell me: is the wall to blame because Daniel Ricciardo crashed in the gravel, or is it Ricciardo's fault for hitting the wall, or maybe it's just the damn curb's fault? 😵

Aside from the fact that Sebastian Vettel is clearly at fault for running into Lewis Hamilton and leaving himself zero room when Hamilton was alongside him. 🙏🤣🤣🤣

Man, these Ferrari mechanics are just as chaotic as their drivers. 🙏
They actually ended up crashing into each other in the pit lane. 🙏🤣🤣🤣

Just saying ☕

That’s because of the DRS. I remember one race where, without DRS, Sebastian Vettel was hitting around 322, while Lewis Hamilton was up at about 345. 😁
I'm watching this and I honestly can't believe my eyes.

Alright, someone give me an answer here—is the wall to blame for why Daniel Ricciardo crashed out in qualifying, or did he just mess up and hit the wall himself? Or maybe... is it actually Rubenstein's fault? 😵

Besides the fact that Vettel is at fault for running right into Hamilton—leaving him with absolutely nowhere to go when Hamilton pulled up alongside him... 🙏🤣🤣🤣

You’re basically acting like a five-year-old—except you actually know how to write...🤣

Of course it's Ricciardo's fault he went off track...

So, what exactly is Valtteri Bottas's fault here? The stewards—who, let's be honest, have way more experience than you—already ruled it was a racing incident. Bottas didn't really have any choice but to go over the curb... is that clear enough for you, or do I need to grab some crayons and draw it out like usual? 😁

Lewis Hamilton.
Lewis Hamilton wants to be Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff, and Charlie Whiting, all rolled into one.

Actually, you're heading in the wrong direction.

He doesn't have any ambition to reach levels beyond where he is now. That’s the real issue. He isn't focused enough because his head is constantly somewhere else entirely. For him, driving feels like a part-time gig. He needs time for painting, chasing women, dogs, cats, just being himself... He loves spending money, but more importantly, he loves being seen spending it.
Reminds me of Darko Pančev.

The complete opposite would be someone like Michael Schumacher. Every ounce of his ambition—all his time and energy—was poured into perfecting his craft. During those final years at Ferrari, the whole team basically revolved around him. Everyone lived and breathed for his performance, and in return, he gave everything he had to the job.

Serious question here: how many of us could actually pull this off? Like, right here in the States!?
If we went as a whole Group, does anyone even know a plug who could score tickets for a crowd that size—obviously we’d pay full price—so we can all sit together and actually enjoy the damn thing.
I want us to hash out the pros and cons face to face. 🙂
And obviously, we’ll have to grab drinks somewhere the night before...
If we can get 10-12 people together, I’m in, just purely for the hell of seeing everyone.
What do you guys think of the idea?

Roger Wright94 said:No, I believe you have taken quite the wrong turn in your reasoning.

He simply lacks the ambition required to compete at the highest levels of this sport, and isn't that precisely where the issue lies? He just doesn't possess the necessary level of dedication, largely because his mind seems to wander toward far more trivial pursuits from time to time. To him, driving feels less like a calling and more like a part-time job. It seems he requires all this extra time for his painting, for women, for his dogs, for cats, or perhaps just for himself... he enjoys spending money, certainly, but he also seems to enjoy the spectacle of being seen spending it.
It brings to mind someone like Darko Pančev.

Daniel Ricciardo went straight for the jugular on Sebastian Vettel:
I’ve been looking over the latest updates regarding the Formula 1 landscape, and honestly, the way things are shifting feels like we're staring down the barrel of a massive power struggle. You look at the current trajectory of teams like Mercedes-Benz and how they're trying to claw back their dignity after some truly rough seasons, and it’s clear that the technical regulations aren't just minor hurdles—they're absolute walls. People keep talking about driver lineups like it's settled business, but when you see the tension brewing within the top tiers, nothing is ever really set in stone. Take the conversation around Lewis Hamilton and his future moves; it’s not just about a seat change, it’s about the entire ecosystem of the sport shifting underfoot. We’ve seen legends like Sebastian Vettel move on, and it leaves this vacuum that everyone is scrambling to fill, yet nobody seems to have a real plan beyond just surviving the next race weekend. Even with heavy hitters like Red Bull Racing dominating the narrative lately, there’s this underlying sense that the gap is being bridged by sheer engineering desperation rather than actual superiority. It's messy, it's loud, and frankly, most of the pundits are missing the forest for the trees because they're too busy obsessing over individual lap times instead of the political warfare happening in the garages. Everyone's acting like they know what's coming, but in a sport this volatile, the only thing you can count on is that the status quo is about to get absolutely wrecked.
Daniel Ricciardo isn't holding back, and he just took a massive swing at Sebastian Vettel, basically telling him he needs to start using his head a bit more.
Look, if you're gonna play this game, you actually need to put some real thought into what you're putting out there and flesh out the rest of the content too.
😂
Daniel Ricciardo says— Absolutely zero titles. Nothing.. 🙏
And he still walks away unscathed.

It goes without saying that Ricciardo is at fault for going off track.

And why on earth would you blame Valtteri Bottas when the stewards—who possess far more expertise than you ever will—already ruled it a racing incident? Bottas had absolutely nowhere to go except over the curb. Is that clear enough for you, or do I need to break it down even further? 😁

Bottas could have simply lifted off the throttle or braked... 🙂
He had already lost his position anyway...

Essentially saying he needs to be more mindful, among other things in the article...

Rick basically implies— zero titles. 🙏
And he’s still breathing.

BTW, even though I maintain that what Vettel did was intentional and he probably deserved a black flag, I have to respect the move... 🙂

I don't see Lou (or anyone else) messing around with Vettel ever again... 🙂

Seriously, if Vettel pulls this again, he's in big trouble.

The stewards decided to hit the German with another three penalty points on his super license. So now, Vettel is sitting at 9 penalty points—if he hits 12, he's looking at a one-race ban for the next event.
