At the end of the day, the contact was so minor you could practically say it didn't even happen...
just like how Jacques Villeneuve said "damn, that contact at 6.2 miles/h..."

And of course they're asking where his driving was dangerous—come on, seriously? Dangerous driving at 6.2 miles/h when it's just wheel-to-wheel contact with absolutely zero damage to either car? And these cars are covered in wings that are so fragile they'd probably snap just from the wind alone...

If something like that happened on a regular road, nobody sane would even call the cops. I mean, imagine getting bumped like that and having to wait two hours for some officer to write up a report for zero damages
and basically for zero compensation... all you'd get is two hours of your life wasted...
The only thing you'd actually get out of calling the police over something like this is a bill or a ticket for them showing up just because I called them to mess with them...

What does it matter if it was dangerous or not? What does the speed have to do with anything?

If you can't see the point, it's incredibly unsportsmanlike and rude, and it leaves lasting consequences. Because, naturally, while it wasn't dangerous, it was still ugly and foolish.

While I am certainly not suggesting that any immediate physical danger was present, one cannot deny that the entire maneuver was incredibly unsightly and, if we are being honest, remarkably foolish.

That is exactly right. It was utterly pointless, wasn't it? And because of that sheer lack of foresight, Sebastian Vettel essentially handed the victory over on a silver platter.

I'm down too, though personally, I think Monza is the better call. More logistics can be handled there. A lot of people are already headed to the coast or have their summer plans set. Let's hit Monza—if Propeti manages to hold his line against Mečko, it'll be epic. I can handle organizing a minibus or a van depending on the headcount. I'll round up the Americans, head to the garage in New York, then hit Philly and cross the border.
