Vettel acted like a complete idiot. He didn't show any class or dignity whatsoever; instead, he just proved his mental state is completely unstable.
And this isn't even the first time either!

So, we’ve pretty much established by now that the FIA is playing favorites with Mercedes, even if Vettel was handed a little gift from the FIA with that whole ridiculous penalty nonsense 🙂.
We also concluded that Hamilton is clearly at fault, having intentionally slammed into Vettel by throwing it into reverse 🙂.
These Vettel fanboys are absolutely exhausting. I’ve even reached the enlightened realization that there’s a massive difference between an accident and doing something on purpose—truly a breakthrough moment for me

We also "decided" that Hamilton is the guilty one and totally slammed Vettel on purpose just because he threw it into reverse 🙂.
God, these Vettel fanboys are something else... I even learned that there's actually a difference between doing something by accident and doing it on purpose—fucking hell, I'm enlightened now

If we went as a Group—and does anyone have the connections to snag tickets (we'd obviously pay up!) for a crowd this size so we could all sit together and enjoy the race?
It would be great to finally clear some things up—pros and cons, face to face. 🙂
And naturally, we’d have to grab some drinks somewhere the night before...
If we can get a group of 10-12 together, I’m definitely in, just for the chance to meet everyone.
What do you guys think of the idea?
That sounds like a fantastic idea! If we can actually coordinate it, it would be absolutely phenomenal. 👍

neonfox65 said:And we need some of Vettel's grit too🤦
Well, you just can't have one without the other, I suppose! 👋
If you think Vettel is a beast, then just imagine what kind of animal Senna was—the guy who collided with Prost at high speed right at the start of a race out of pure vengeance?
Or even Schumacher, who also took out Villeneuve on purpose?
That’s just what sets the legends apart—they happen to be just as wild as they are great.

Something strange seems to be brewing in the dynamic between Toto and Hamilton—it’s actually pretty interesting how they didn't use Bottas as a buffer on track, even though that’s what Hamilton apparently wanted...
And honestly, it's just as fascinating that Toto wasn't throwing shade at Vettel either—not even a little bit. In fact, he went out of his way to say it looked like nothing was intentional, and that it wouldn't even cross his mind to accuse Vettel without actual proof...
When I recall him being there for those talks with Flavio, everything starts feeling a bit different—like Hamilton might be heading out of the Bear, leaving the door wide open for Alonso to step into his shoes...🤔
It's even possible that Hamilton is moving to Ferrari, which would explain this sudden "honesty" in the Vettel-Hamilton Bem relationship 🤣
Man, if that actually happens, things are going to get wild 🎉 🤣

You've got a point, Toby 👍

🤦
That was different.
Or how about Schumacher, who also took out Villeneuve on purpose?
Different story again. Those crashes happened during a heated battle under the green flag.

You're spot on, Toby 👍
So, basically, Ferrari wants to bring in Hamilton—who, by the way, is still under contract—just to have him fighting against himself? Because in all my years watching F1, that’s never been their style... they usually pick one powerhouse and pair them with someone a bit less intense. And now Mercedes supposedly wants to let Hamilton walk just to grab an aging Alonso, who lost to him back when he was a rookie? Yeah, right! 🤦

Here's the news in English
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/w...cident-923575/
The big takeaways:
To me, it looks like Wolff is backing Hamilton here—basically saying you guys jumped to the wrong conclusion because you were playing games (Toby's doing it again, who knows when 🤦).
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/w...cident-923575/
The big takeaways:
is that Sebastian thought Lewis was brake-testing him, which he wasn't.
"We've looked at the data, and with the safety car just 150 meters ahead... it was clearly a lapse in judgment.
Even though he tried to hold back from slamming Vettel for what happened, Vettel for What happened , Wolff was adamant that Hamilton was entirely innocent in The events.
"Look, the lead driver gets to control the pace," Wolff added.
"The safety car was barely 150 meters in front of him—you could even see during the restart right before that he nearly caught up to the safety car before the line. There's no doubt he was going to accelerate at that point. No way.
"Checking the telemetry, there was zero braking. He hit the corner, lifted off the throttle, and then Sebastian drove right into him. That's my take on it... with the visor down, it looks like Sebastian just didn't want to lose out on the restart. Nothing wrong on Lewis's side."

Of course it's Rick's fault for spinning out.
And why is Bottas the villain in your eyes when the officials—who actually know what they're doing, unlike you—called it a racing incident? Bottas had plenty of room, he just clipped the curb. Is that clear, or do I need to draw you a map?😁
I put the screenshots right here in the post, so go ahead and draw it yourself.🙄
Bottas freaking had enough room for two cars before the corner itself. Not one car, TWO cars!!!
On top of that, Kimi's rear wheel was almost perfectly lined up with Bottas's front wheel, so the position was already lost...
But no, instead we have this clown braking way too late and lunging in with zero control...
Even through the apex, there was still more than enough space for the entire car...
Kimi left him plenty of room, which you can clearly see in the second photo. For God's sake, there's enough space to squeeze a Mini Cooper between Kimi and Bottas.🤦
Basically, there was no worry about Bottas hitting the curb, but the absolute idiot slammed into it and ended up taking out Kimi...
Man, when you look at the picture, it's obvious there's about 3 or 4 feet of space before Kimi, yet Bottas is practically touching the wall. If he moved even an inch closer, he would've totaled himself against the barrier.🤦
The fact that they didn't penalize him is completely nonsensical...
Fine, maybe you can swallow the excuse that it was the start of the race, pure chaos, adrenaline, "we don't want to hand out penalties left and right," blah blah blah... so they let him off easy.
But claiming it's the curb's fault, rather than the guy who slammed into it despite having all the room in the world? That's pure stupidity.🤦

So here's what Villeneuve thinks. And hey, he actually knows what he's talking about since he's lived it. ☕
What now, DMW? Seriously?
So now that everything I've been saying for days is suddenly all over the "all-knowing" internet, what's the move? 🤣
So here's what Villeneuve thinks. And hey, he actually knows what he's talking about since he's lived it. ☕
Villeneuve, who 20 years ago was involved in a notorious collision with Michael Schumacher in the 1997 title finale at Jerez, said that incident - which led to Schumacher being excluded from the championship standings - was not similar to the Baku flare-up.
“It was very different,” he told Motorsport.com. “They’re going 10mph, who cares?
"Of course it was ugly, but ultimately Lewis Hamilton brake-tested him. I’m a driver, I’ve been there.
"Whenever a driver did that to me, then I would do whatever Sebastian Vettel did. He got a penalty, the biggest he could get, I guess, according to the new rules."
Villeneuve reckoned that Sebastian Vettel did not intend to barge against Hamilton's car when he pulled alongside the Mercedes-Benz: “I don’t think he was trying to hit him. He had one hand on the wheel and was looking at him and pointing the finger.
"You don’t hit with your wheels turned like that, you will break your own car, and with one hand – if you’re going to hit someone, you have two hands on the wheel!
"We have the two guys fighting for the championship, getting angry with each other, and ultimately no damage was done. What’s the big issue?
"It’s great TV, it’s good to see that they’re on it. Much nicer than Lewis Hamilton asking [teammate Valtteri Bottas] Bottas to slow Sebastian Vettel down. I mean, that was embarrassing."
What now, DMW? Seriously?
So now that everything I've been saying for days is suddenly all over the "all-knowing" internet, what's the move? 🤣

neonfox65 said:Well, if Fettel pulls that again, he’s in for it.
Do me a favor: read the whole thing and actually use your brain while you're at it. 🙂
Vettel only faces consequences if he repeats that exact move in Austria and somehow manages to snag those 3 points—which isn't even likely, since penalties are usually way lighter. They typically toss you a point or two, maybe three if you're lucky, or if you tell Charles Leclerc exactly how much he messed up. 😁...
Even if he slams into Hamilton at Indianapolis, the odds of him getting a race ban are incredibly slim, even if the stewards were Damon Hill, Mansell, Martin Brundle, and Herbert. 🤣
Regardless, none of them—except maybe Mansell—have the guts to pull something like that. So, no real penalty coming, not even from them. 😁
EDIT:

There you go. Read it. 🙂
Brundle’s saying Vettel didn't deserve a black flag at all.

mellowtiger83 said:These Vettel fanboys are unbelievable. Apparently, there’s a massive difference between doing something by mistake versus doing it on purpose. Wow. I'm enlightened now.
F1, F1...
Tell me, does it even matter if a penalty is "accidental" or "intentional" when it comes to Hamilton and how he acts under the SC?🙂
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mot...velations.html
Or maybe there isn't even a serious penalty when the guy in question is just being "clumsy," so the team plays dirty and sacrifices another employee just to cover for their lying driver...
Look at this miracle. Even back in his younger days, Hamilton wasn't above stepping on his own teammates and expecting them to take the heat for his crap. 🙂
So, what kind of fine did he actually get for straight-up lying to the officials and the FIA?
Can you recall anything even remotely similar in sports to this Hamilton nonsense, where it's absolutely, 100% obvious he was lying and doing it on purpose? 🙂
And we're just supposed to take every single word from Hamilton and his team as gospel???
Sorry, my friend, but I wouldn't believe him if he told me the sky was blue. You have to fact-check everything that comes out of his mouth. ☕

jadeseal7 said:That’s a great idea. If we could actually make the logistics work, it would be incredible. 👍
I'm on board, but only if we go all out—something massive, like Singapore. 😁
Everything stays within a reasonable budget. Tickets aren't always the huge expense; we could just fly a slightly more modest airline to balance things out. 😁

What are you gonna do now, neonfox65? Huh?
What happens when everything I've been preaching for days suddenly shows up on the "all-knowing" internet? 🤣
It’s just you and Villeneuve against the world... 🤦
Come on, let's be real—he hit him on purpose. No point lying about it.
