Hey. Just wondering if there's actually any real difference between these two sticks of RAM:

1.

2.

Thanks. πŸ™‚

Who knows? It probably doesn't even exist. We're just guessing at this point. They likely switched to a different supplier or something similar, which would explain why the price shifted.

So, if there's a difference between Class 5 and Class 6, maybe that just means the Class 6 is newer. Honestly, it probably doesn't even matter.

It honestly doesn't matter. Theoretically, a lower Class 5 is better, but you won't notice any difference in real life btw.

BTW, do some homework on the experiences people have had with ED. It’s not exactly the kind of shop I’d recommend to anyone.

Thanks for the heads-up. I noticed that ED looked a bit sketchy too, so I probably won't be ordering through them, but I was genuinely curious about the difference haha

Also, if you don't mind, could you just explain what CL actually means?

Just Google "CAS latency"

Honestly, you should check out this just to see for yourself how irrelevant it is in 99.99% of scenarios. The same logic applies to DDR2
