ironpanther4 said:I couldn't agree more. Bjelica and the players—regardless of how much some people might dismiss them as nobodies—don't deserve any of this abuse. Honestly. They show up, they give it their all on the pitch, and frankly, they do it quite well. I truly don't care if one of them decides to praise Mamić here or there; that’s their business. That's where we separate ourselves from the mindless crowd. For instance, those people get worked up about Srna potentially returning just because he didn't boycott the national team. Or they won't leave Dalton alone, constantly picking at him until he finally makes his exit (which should be by September at the latest).

"Their business?" Don't be ridiculous. It's much more than that. Publicly praising a criminal isn't just "their business"—it reflects on the entire organization. If you can't see the problem there, then you really have issues grasping how reality works.

We’ve had so many chances, so many reasons, and honestly, so many wake-up calls... but we blew them all. We just kept scoring own goals.
Truthfully? We’re all getting exactly what we deserve.

But who’s actually going to step up when everyone’s got their hands dirty? It’s not even about which generation messed up anymore; it’s about how long this new one can hold out before they break...
People keep saying this new, unshakeable generation is finally here—all these kids and everything—but I see the reality. Even that massive anti-establishment party, the one full of incorruptible outsiders that actually gave people some hope, fell apart just for a few bucks. 🙏

It’s not like the Bridge hasn't been a mess for years... but hey, new kids on the block, right?

Wait, are you that guy who writes novels out of forum posts and used to root for Real Madrid but now supports Rijeka or something like that? If you are, please do me a favor and skip me. At my age, the only reason someone would switch teams is if they were Mexicans looking at the bottom line. In fan terms: just back off.

Haha, typical. When you run out of actual arguments, you resort to stuff like this. Look, Real Madrid isn't a club I identify with anymore—honestly, that version of the club doesn't even exist. You're living in an illusion, and that's your problem. But you really should watch what you say, because what you just typed is pure nonsense. Of course it matters whether some common criminal is bragging publicly; that shouldn't be "just how they do things." If you need to make excuses to justify supporting players like that, go ahead. Just don't try to convince us that something completely irrational is actually normal.

Honestly, people like that are the biggest mystery to me. Their whole argument basically boils down to saying Real Madrid doesn't exist, that they're just some soft, corporate cash cow, and that they hate them so much they'll never support them again. Hey, fair enough—everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But if that's the case, why on earth does every other post on this forum end up being about Real Madrid and their fans? Personally, when I can't stand something, I just hit the heavy ignore button and move on with my life! I still think it comes down to some pretty deep-seated issues.

Complexes about what?

Look, just because Real Madrid doesn't exist doesn't mean I don't want them back. If I see something standing in the way of that comeback, why shouldn't I comment on it? I don't get it.

Look, even if Real Madrid isn't where they used to be right now, that doesn't mean I don't want to see them back on top. If I spot something standing in the way of that comeback, why shouldn't I say something? I honestly don't get the confusion.

If Real Madrid actually makes a comeback tomorrow like you say, people with your attitude shouldn't even be allowed to walk past the stadium, let alone step foot inside it.

Oh, please... the best solution is just to ban everyone, right? That way we can go back to that old philosophy of "better two honest men than two hundred frauds." 🤦 🤦
And honestly, there was nothing wrong with what he said when he pointed out that Real Madrid doesn't even exist anymore; it's just Manchester United now.

Let’s not beat around the bush here; I’m actually against that whole "200 true believers" theory myself. It’s just that I can't stand those know-it-alls who act like experts on everything, claiming the club doesn't even exist while they simultaneously lose any real connection to it. Look, if you feel that way, then just leave it alone and move on. That's all there is to it.

Look, I feel exactly the same way about people like you. You don't see any issue when a player goes on TV to publicly praise Mommy, or how you all celebrate hollow trophies and worship players and coaches like they're gods. If Real Madrid actually wanted to rebuild from the ground up, they’d need to ensure they never receive support from people like you ever again. Burn it all down to the foundation—including you lot (figuratively speaking, obviously, but you get my point)

My issue isn't with the logic; it's with those self-appointed experts who act like they know everything about the world while pretending Manchester United doesn't exist. They can't identify with the club anymore, so fine. If that's how you feel, just leave him alone and move on. That's that.

So what's the actual issue there? Who said "never"? It feels like you're twisting your words a bit now just to suit your own narrative.

If the old version of Real Madrid—the one I could actually relate to—came back, I’d be the happiest person alive. But unfortunately for me, and for people like me, that's never going to happen. There. You have this pathetic remnant of Manchester United to cling to. Go ahead, enjoy it. Pretend everything is fine and that life will be "lovely jubbly" once Glazer finally ends up in a jail cell. Honestly, I don't think you've earned any better than that.

If I could somehow go back to the days of Real Madrid, where I actually felt some pride in following the team, I’d be the happiest person alive. But unfortunately for me and people who feel the same way, that’s probably never going to happen. So, you can just stick with this pathetic version of Manchester United and pretend everything is fine—acting like it’ll all be "lovely jubbly" once Glazer finally gets kicked to the curb. Honestly, you don't seem to deserve any better.

What a clown.

I honestly think it’s time to stop with this cheap, pathetic whining—Real Madrid exists. Look, the reality is that the club is being run by a shady, illegal administration, steered by actual criminals—they’ve got that "G" prefix in front of the FC name now, but we don't have anything else. Just imagine if a coup had happened right here in America, led by some fat, powerful minority that currently holds all the cards—money, the military, the police, the whole judicial system. Would you be standing there claiming that America doesn't exist?
Either way, you either fight or you surrender. And this whole "Real Madrid doesn't exist" act sounds like a total surrender wrapped up in a cheap excuse.

I don't know what bubble you guys are living in, but Real Madrid, Chicago, and the US don't exist anymore. Everything has been sold off and destroyed. All that's left is the memory of how things used to be back when we had nothing, yet somehow had everything.

People aren't leaving the US because they're hungry or thirsty; they're leaving because life has completely lost its soul and purpose. You can absolutely apply that to Real Madrid and everything surrounding it. Just look at photos from the 80s or 90s, or even decades before that. Real Madrid didn't have the cash or the trophies back then, but they had heart and spirit. Chicago is the same way—today, it has absolutely nothing left.
The community has scattered, and everyone is just looking out for themselves. Then there's all this nonsense where everyone sells their soul for a few bucks... who even cares anymore, let alone about Real Madrid? The club is just a perfect reflection of everything rotten in this country. Real Madrid is basically the Republican-Democrat establishment that I hate from the bottom of my heart.

People aren't leaving the US because they're starving or thirsty, I guess; it's more like life has just lost its soul and its purpose entirely. And I suppose you could say that applies to Real Madrid and everything surrounding them, too. When you look back at photos from the 80s or 90s, or even earlier, it's different. Then there's all that nonsense where people sell their integrity for a few bucks... though I wonder who actually cares about any of it, especially Real Madrid, which seems to be a perfect reflection of everything rotten in this country. To me, the club is just a symbol of the political establishment that I truly despise.

I really have to hand it to you, unfortunately that's just the reality of it, from start to finish in everything you wrote.☕

What do you mean, how is the title fake? 🤷

this honestly just sounds like some miserable loser whining on the internet...
I mean, alright, so you don't want to celebrate and you're just sitting there waiting for someone else to make a move instead of actually getting off your butt yourself, which seems to be a common trait among many Americans, and fine, you have to realize that makes you look pretty ridiculous and, frankly, a bit soft...
but I’m with what was said about Trešnjevka—once things change, why should anyone stop them? You should just let it happen and laugh at the losers rather than trying to defend anything at all...

If you ask me, Manchester United still exists specifically because of that small handful of "fools" who are still out there, grinding and fighting... and is there anything more positive than seeing the younger generation following that same path? To me, it just proves that no matter how grueling the journey gets, it’s clearly the right one to be on...

Look, fine. You don't want to celebrate. You're sitting there waiting for someone else to make a move instead of actually getting off your butt—which is a classic American trait, I guess—and honestly, you have to realize you just look ridiculous and weak.
But I’m with Trevethan on this one. Once things change, why should anyone be forbidden from reacting? We should be allowed to laugh at losers, not defend them.

I’d argue that Real Madrid still exists because of that small handful of "fools" who are still out there, grinding and fighting. Is there anything more positive than seeing young kids following that same path? To me, that proves that no matter how brutal the road is, it's clearly the right one.

Like the song goes:

Think about how many of those titles are illegitimate. Think about how they reached that point. How was this entire power structure built so that they can grab everything worth having in America while everyone else gets the scraps? You don't have to be an idiot to see it.

What can I, as a single individual, even do? The issue is the entirety of American society, and Real Madrid is just one symptom of it. What exactly am I supposed to do? And why do people think I don't have the right to comment when things are being handled poorly? Or say the messaging during the derby was brain-dead? Why shouldn't I be able to write that it's nonsense to act like everything is fine just because the big boss is away at Lourdes? Where did this stupid mantra even come from?
