Do you realize how exhausting you are? 🙄

neonfox65 said:And do you honestly see how much this Michael Diaz4 keeps spouting nonsense just to be provocative?
Why do you even bother getting dragged into an argument with him??? Once that guy starts being thick-headed—regardless of what we're actually talking about—he just doubles down until he's blue in the face... if twenty of us told him a wall was painted blue, he’d probably insist it was yellow just for the sake of it... why engage with someone like that? 🤷 It’s always the same story, whether it's on-topic or completely unrelated to the subforum 🤷
Not to go totally off-topic here. Both Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel are world-class drivers, and they proved that during those ten laps of fighting each other, and plenty of times before that too... God, I wish we saw more duels like that... though hopefully with a different result next time, because, well, it is Ferrari 😍

neonfox65 said:I can see exactly who the master is when Daniel Ricciardo pulls a move like that. 👋
Look, once Ricciardo actually manages to outperform someone like Sebastian Vettel—who’s been a world champion multiple times—then we can start having a real conversation about him being an elite driver. He still has plenty to prove. And honestly, how do you wrap your head around the idea that a faster car can actually be worse through the corners than a slower one? It isn't always on the driver. If you want to see how it's done, just look at the braking technique Vettel used during that duel with Alonso. It was masterclass stuff. Seriously, go check this out: I just finished watching that clip. It’s quite something, really. There's a certain weight to it that stays with you long after the video ends. I found myself sitting there for a few minutes afterward, just processing everything. It makes you think about the sheer scale of things. We often get caught up in the immediate details, the small stuff, but then a video like this comes along and shifts your entire perspective. It’s a bit humbling, honestly. You realize how much we overlook in our day-to-day lives. Anyway, I'm curious what everyone else thought. Did it hit you as hard as it did me, or am I just overanalyzing?

Jacob White49 said:I suspect Leslie Jawad was watching F1 for the very first time this past Sunday. Fast through the corners? Well, obviously. But he can thank Adrian Newey for that, not himself. I mean, they don't call Vettel a four-time champion for nothing. And if anyone’s struggling with rear wing stalling, common sense dictates the car is going to be slower in the turns. "But everyone is running Pirellis," people say. Sure, everyone is, but unless you were actually watching the race on Sunday, you'd know the ideal lifespan for those Pirelli tires is about eleven and a half laps.
Rear wing stalling.
Now you're overdoing it too.
Vettel handles corners better. Period.
Good grief, man!
😂

Yeah, pretty surprising regarding stormybadger8. 😍

neonfox65 said:If he had a dominant car like Vettel used to have, he’d be right there ahead of him taking the title. End of story.
Look, he definitely has a dominant car compared to Vettel, but he's still trailing behind the Mercedes-Benz... Just watch that clip of them chasing each other down and you'll see exactly what I mean. Look at the speeds Alonso is hitting versus how Vettel catches up to him in the corners. Besides, in that text I just quoted, it even mentions that Vettel was slower on the straights. If you have a faster car on the straightaways, you basically have everything you need to win... But Alonso just couldn't translate that speed into the turns. That's really all there is to it.

You ever heard that old saying, "mocking the shadow owl for having a big head"?
😁

Michael Diaz4 said:He’s driving a dominant car compared to Vettel, but he still can't touch Mercedes... Just watch that clip of them battling and you'll see exactly what I mean. Look at the speeds Alonso hits versus how Vettel closes the gap in the corners. Besides, in that text of yours I just quoted, you even admitted Vettel was slower on the straights. If you have a faster car on the straightaways, you have everything you need to win... But Alonso simply failed to weaponize that speed through the turns. End of story.
🤣
There is absolutely nonsense to be found in this PDF.

Man, even you're overreacting now.
Sebastian Vettel handles the corners better—period.
Yeah, right! As if!
😂
Now that's actually surprising coming from stormybadger8. 😍
Just watch Alonso's interview on Sky right after the race... he says the exact same thing about the stalling.

Jacob White49 said:Just watch Alonso’s interview on Sky right after the race... he’s basically confirming what RW said about the stalling.
I guess we'll just take Alonso's word for it when he defends himself... though let's be real, of course he's going to claim his hands were tied while stuck in that seat. He hasn't exactly been doing much since joining Ferrari...

🤣
I guess it's really just Red Bull Racing's fault (between this year's design and the engine) because they chronically lack top-end speed. They rely so heavily on creating downforce through that massive rake effect, which just adds extra drag on the straights (something we've seen since 2009)... Take TR, for example; they don't seem to have those same issues with top speed using the exact same engine.

Michael Diaz4 said:So, we’re just supposed to take Alonso’s word for it? Please. It’s perfectly natural for him to claim his hands were tied—that he was essentially stuck in a dead-end situation with Ferrari. Since he joined them, he hasn't exactly been making waves, has he?
Jawad, go find some corners to chase somewhere else...

Jacob White49 said:Just watch Alonso’s Sky interview right after the race... he says exactly what RW meant about stalling.
I know what he's saying. I know what rear wing stalling entails.
But why bother explaining all that when Sebastian Vettel is simply better through the corners?
#196 ·
Jason Campbell70 said:I follow his logic—I truly do—and I understand the whole rear wing stalling argument perfectly well.
But honestly, you can argue technicalities all day long, it doesn't change the reality that Sebastian Vettel is just outperforming him through the corners.
Give me a break!!!🤣 🤣 🤣

That split second during the race when Alonso's rear wing picks up track debris—leaving him stuck in a partially open DRS position that makes navigating the turns an absolute nightmare.

neonfox65 said:Well, it seems we have arrived at yet another revelation, doesn't it? It appears that they are finally attempting to sabotage Vettel, though one has to wonder if they have truly grasped the gravity of the situation—specifically, whether they realize they are dealing with nothing less than a quadruple deception. 🤣
You are more than welcome to sit there and vent your frustrations or hurl insults if that makes you feel better, but the reality remains unchanged: Sebastian Vettel achieved things that your personal favorite simply will never reach. 😍
