It’s obvious you didn't notice that Bottas was struggling too, and even Button passed him—and Button was an extra 11 seconds behind Alonso. Even Vernie and Magnussen caught up to him by the end.
But no, really, did anyone actually notice what strategy Button used to overtake Hulkenberg and Alonso at the end?

Honestly, I’d say Ferrari is sitting at 5th right now. Based on all those speed trap numbers everyone posts after a race, FI, Red Bull, and Williams are definitely faster than them.

Given the absolute junk car they’re driving, I think Ferrari is actually squeezing out every bit of performance possible—especially Alonso. 🙂

I think we can all agree on this one—there were actually five, maybe even six teams competing here in Canada.
It’s obvious Ferrari brought some serious downgrades to the Canadian Grand Prix, or maybe it's just this specific track exposing how much of a dud that Mečkin engine really is...

Honestly, the ranking went like this: Mercedes, Williams, Force India, then McLaren... nothing for a long time, and then Red Bull and Ferrari finally showed up somewhere around there.
Red Bull just had some insane luck lately. Seriously, they caught a massive break in qualifying—they ended up way higher in the rankings than anyone actually expected.
Honestly, luck was on their side during the race. It’s weird, but if they hadn't somehow ended up right behind Force India and used DRS the entire time, they would've been absolute sitting ducks for whoever was chasing them.

Huge props to Ricciardo, that win was well-deserved and felt like the perfect comeback after everything that happened in Australia.
I honestly thought Nico Rosberg would drop at least five or six spots in the standings, but it looks like he managed to nurse the car just enough, especially since he was over two seconds slower once those issues started cropping up. I was also hoping Felipe Massa might fight his way back up to second or third, but he just couldn't quite capitalize on the advantage he had.

Watching Sergio Perez hunt him down really highlighted how much engines matter; you could see Rosberg struggling with 160 less horsepower and having to be so careful with his brakes, all while driving a car that isn't exactly top-tier—Red Bull Racing is realistically ahead in almost every department, but that engine deficit is killer. He’s driving well, but even though he can't pass the Red Bull Racing car which stays close in lap times, he's fighting against a Mercedes-AMG setup that feels a bit limited. I'd honestly bet that the Renault is nearly 100hp weaker than the Mercedes-AMG, and even Ferrari doesn't seem much closer to closing that gap.

Ferrari was a massive disappointment today; it seems like they were the only ones who went into Free Practice 1 running at full power. Sure, that gave the Mercedes-AMG teams an edge, but they actually put in a ton of work on refinements, and they were faster than Williams Racing and especially Formula 1 leaders... yet here we are facing a total disaster.

It looks like Lewis Hamilton and Nicole had a bit of a falling out....😁

The crash was definitely on Perez; he didn't have anything to work with and just went for it blindly, clearly lacking the experience there, and Massa probably should have taken a wider line to avoid the mess.

For three whole days, they were just stuck behind him. It was Perez leading the pack, followed by two Red Bull Racing cars and a Williams Racing—Perez was out front, with the other three trapped right in the DRS zone.

The rest of the races were flawless for two or three teams. I mean, come on...
It’s not even much of a debate at this point, but seeing them out there just proves how massive the gap actually is between the Renault and Ferrari cars and the Mercedes-AMG.🙂
Nico Rosberg’s MGU-K just died on him—gone, 160 fucking horsepower just vanished. And yet, he still managed to limp across the finish line, which is honestly impressive given his fuel consumption issues. To top it all off, he actually landed on the podium. Unreal.😳

Even in this race, Williams was miles ahead of Red Bull Racing and Ferrari, just like in Formula 1. Honestly, it’s just embarrassing how Williams shot themselves in the foot, and since both Formula 1 teams completely tanked during qualifying, they had to try those desperate, half-baked tactical gambles.
McLaren? Honestly, those guys have no clue what they're doing.🤷

Anyway, I gotta say, I’m actually pretty stoked Hamilton dropped out and Rosberg grabbed second. It feels like we might finally have a championship worth watching right up until the final showdown...
Honestly, Hamilton left a bad taste in my mouth in Monaco. His attitude reminded me way too much of 2007, when he started playing dirty against his teammate Alonso and then played the victim, whining about how the team was failing him. So, even though I didn't really care who won before Monaco, now I'm low-key rooting for Rosberg to take the title...😁
Let's be real here: when it comes to pure, raw speed, Hamilton is definitely the faster driver. If he keeps his head straight, he’ll crush it in qualifying, and in the races, he's got the edge over Rosberg—assuming he doesn't cook his tires or brakes way too early... That's why Rosberg basically needs Hamilton to DNF every other race just to keep the championship interesting.
After that first race where he pulled out, Lewis had to string together four wins in a row just to claw back ahead of Rosberg in the standings. Now, the gap is wide again (22 points), so Lewis is looking at needing at least another four races to overtake him—provided Rosberg stays consistent and keeps grabbing those second-place finishes like he has been doing...

As for Red Bull...
Ricciardo started 6th and walked away with the win! He proved that you can actually win in a Red Bull even if you don't start on the front row, which is a huge deal since we haven't seen that happen before...
The fraud started 3rd and finished 3rd...

They screwed themselves by staying one or two laps behind Hulkenberg; if they’d just pitted and come back out, they would’ve been right ahead of Vergne at the front of the pack.
They could have easily grabbed a couple of points, but the dumbest part was watching them try to cover Bottas when it was obvious he was just stuck in traffic behind three cars that weren't even moving any faster than Hulkenberg...
