When Kimi joined Ferrari in 2007, he stepped into a car that wasn't being developed specifically for him.
On top of that, he had to deal with a tire change. They were completely different from what he'd been used to for years.

He managed to absorb two huge shifts at the highest level of the sport. That’s pure talent right there.

I think the cars were comparable—nothing dominant about either. Honestly, comparing the machinery would be much easier if Schumacher had stayed at Ferrari back in 2007.
