You know what the most interesting part is...
If Kimi were driving for Ferrari this season, the championship standings would probably look exactly the same—though honestly, I think he’d be sitting higher up than where things stand right now.
In the constructors' standings, Ferrari would probably be leading, or at least neck-and-neck with Red Bull.

All things considered, I think Sebastian Vettel will just keep stacking up those titles. The only catch? Red Bull isn't going to be the one taking home the Constructors' Championship anymore.

All in all, it feels like Vettel would just keep stacking up those titles—it's just that Red Bull Racing wouldn't be standing alone at the top of the constructors' leaderboard anymore.

We'll just have to wait and see. 2014 is bringing a massive amount of changes to the table, so it'll be fascinating to see how everyone measures up against the new rules. You aren't wrong about Ferrari this year—they seem a bit "underpowered," to put it mildly... I really think they need to go all out to build a truly competitive car for next year. If they can pull that off, watching a showdown between Kimi and Alonso will be an absolute treat for any NASCAR enthusiast.

It seems once again there is a misunderstanding regarding the regulations:
40.13 When the official decides it is safe to deploy the pace car the message "SAFETY CAR IN THIS LAP" will be displayed on the timing monitors and the car's orange lights will be extinguished This will be the signal to the teams and drivers that it will be entering the pit lane at the end of that lap.
At this point the first car in line behind the safety car may dictate the pace and, if necessary, fall more than ten car lengths behind it.
