I honestly can't wrap my head around what the issue is with this BetMGM site... basically, I just wanted to see how they operate, so I signed up and grabbed a $5 bonus. I placed a bet right when Mannarino had a match point at 1.01 odds, and he ended up losing—not that it matters how much I won, since I wasn't really looking to make a profit here—but it’s been 45 minutes already and my bet slip still hasn't settled. On DraftKings, it takes maybe 10 minutes max. Good grief, it feels like every amateur out there is launching their own sportsbook these days...

And tell me about it... clearly they don't have enough users if they're handing out bonuses like that. They probably haven't found their footing yet. Maybe things will smooth out after a while...

You don’t need to send any documents if your total withdrawal amount is less than $ 2000 and if you withdraw to the same credit card or e-wallet that you used for depositing... 😲

I haven't seen a thread quite like this one, so I figured I’d start it myself. If anyone here is involved in betting exchanges—whether you're just playing around or doing it professionally—and you want to swap tips or experiences, I'm happy to help out where I can. In return, I'd love to pick your brains on a few things too. Right now, I'm developing a system for a poker exchange game that’s currently hitting a 91% success rate mathematically. It’s only been running for about two weeks, though, so take that with a grain of salt. Let's get a conversation going here...

And please, let's skip the basic questions about what "back" or "lay" means.🤣

Best regards,

There isn't really any money to be made for an average person; the bots are the ones profiting off people like you. There will always be streaks of bad luck and good luck, but playing solo is about as profitable as trying a Martingale strategy on a roulette wheel in Vegas.

Given my extensive history navigating the world of online wagering, I have decided to put together a brief overview of the premier digital sportsbooks currently available. My hope is that this might provide some clarity for those looking for direction...

The advantages of moving your betting online are quite numerous... beyond the obvious 24/7 accessibility, more prominent platforms now offer welcome bonuses reaching up to 100% on your initial deposit. This means if you opt to deposit $10, you’ll find $20 in your account, or if you go with $30, you’re looking at a $60 balance. Regarding security, there isn't much to worry about; the major players in this industry serve populations larger than the entire Yugoslavia population, and they invest heavily into perfecting their multilingual interfaces and cybersecurity protocols. Furthermore, these platforms allow you to stream over 500 matches weekly, as many of these major bookmakers act as official sponsors for various leagues and clubs, granting you the ability to watch the action and engage in
Live betting from the comfort of your own home.
DraftKings stands out as a leader in the online space. They are currently offering a 100% match on your first deposit up to $30. Essentially, if you sign up and deposit $30, you walk away with $60. It remains one of the most popular options due to its exceptionally polished, multilingual interface. Their catalog of events is massive, encompassing everything from major international leagues to local matchups across the states. They also provide an incredible depth of markets; for certain Champions League fixtures, they might offer upwards of 400 different prop bets... yes, 400 individual markets for a single game. A significant benefit is their inclusion of diverse domestic soccer leagues... Of course, they tend to be slower when suspending specific lines, which means you can often successfully place a bet on a niche matchup from a smaller regional league that might already be locked at a physical sportsbook
Their Live betting interface is very well executed, and they broadcast a vast array of matches >—including the entirety of the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, and plenty of others—provided you simply have an active account.
They even tend to roll out special bonuses for user birthdays every year... and naturally, the interface is fully localized for American users...

Comcast is another heavyweight in the online market.
Generally speaking, they offer competitive odds, though their selection of events is somewhat more limited compared to DraftKings, which should still be more than sufficient for the average bettor. The Live betting experience is decent, though I suspect it could be improved given they don't offer quite as many real-time markets as some competitors. That said, they frequently maintain higher lines than other books.

Sportingbet also provides a multilingual interface. Their Live betting setup is impressively designed, allowing you to wager on any ongoing event via text from the opening whistle to the final second. Perhaps the best feature is the lack of restrictions on parlays; you can place live bets on current action and combine them with upcoming events that haven't even kicked off yet...

FanDuel is currently lacking a welcome bonus for new users, but make no mistake, this is one of the most formidable platforms available, and any serious bettor ought to have an account here. Beyond having an interface tailored to American preferences, they boast an enormous selection of events. They truly excel in the realm of specialty props, where you can easily wager on things like total yellow cards in a match, total corners, who will lead in shots on goal, whether a specific player receives a card, and so on...

Bet365 offers a 100% match on your first deposit up to $100. They maintain a robust selection and a high volume of Live streaming options. They provide one of the most enticing newcomer bonuses; for instance, a $100 deposit results in a $200 balance (though smaller deposits will be doubled accordingly as well). They are widely recognized as one of the premier and most established names in the industry.

Gamebookers is currently providing a 100% welcome bonus up to $30. Their offerings are solid, and they rarely slash the odds on favorites, which is a distinct advantage...

bet-at-home offers a 50% Bonus on your first deposit!
Bet-at-home is a popular choice within the region. The interface is localized for American users, and they carry a wide variety of sporting events specifically catered to our interests.

Well, hopefully this brief rundown of the top-tier online sportsbooks provided some actual value... If anyone finds themselves needing a bit of guidance navigating the world of online betting, feel free to reach out via DM. I wouldn't mind lending a hand

Quick question here.
I'm trying to figure out the max payout limit on sites like BetMGM, DraftKings, or Bet365 before the taxman starts knocking. I know at local US spots like PSU or DraftKings, you don't pay taxes on winnings up to $10000, but once you hit that $30,000 mark, they take their cut. Does it work the same way with all these online books, or does everyone have their own rule for when the tax hits?
If anyone actually knows the deal, let me know!
Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I have a few questions regarding bet365, which seems to be a pretty decent sportsbook from what I can tell:

1. Regarding the bonus (100% up to $100)—is it actually usable without having to enter any specific promo code? In other words, do new members just get the bonus automatically?
2. What kind of documentation am I going to need when it comes time to withdraw funds? I read somewhere that a passport is required, but does that specifically mean a passport from the country where I currently reside? (The issue here is that my American passport is expired, though since I have dual citizenship, I’m planning on getting a new passport from that other country instead).
3. I understand that the deposit plus the bonus needs to be rolled over three times at—I think—odds of 1.5 to qualify for a withdrawal. Does that coefficient mean that absolutely no single leg can be lower than 1.5, or would something like a parlay with odds of 1.25x1.25 count toward that 1.5 requirement?
4. I'm struggling to wrap my head around—and maybe I'm just mistaken here—the handicaps used by this sportsbook. For example, take tomorrow's match, Williams-Serena vs. Kvitova: 1) Williams-Serena -3 at 2.0, 2) Kvitova +3 at 1.9, 3) TIE Kvitova +3 at 10.0. If I've grasped this correctly: if I bet on Williams-Serena and she wins by 3 or more games, I win; if I bet on Kvitova +3 and she loses by 3 or fewer, I win. It's just that the lack of those "half-game" options we see in our local American bookies is a bit confusing.

Thanks 🙂.

George Young65 said:Hey, just had a few questions about bet365. Seems pretty decent:

1. Is the bonus (100% up to $100) automatic, or do I need to use a code? Like, do new members just get it without doing anything?

For the sign-up bonus, you'll get a code via email. Then you just have to enter Promo Code in the section under Members Quote.

2. What documents do I need for withdrawals? I read somewhere that a passport is required, but does that have to be from my home country? My US passport is actually expired, but since I have dual citizenship, I’m planning to get a passport from my other country instead.

The info you put down during registration has to match your IDs perfectly. When I signed up, I didn't have to upload a scan of my passport, just type in the number... but definitely don't try using an expired one.

3. I think I know the drill—you have to wager the deposit plus bonus 3 times at odds of at least 1.5 to clear it for withdrawal. Does that mean *none* of the legs can be lower than 1.5? For instance, would a parlay with 1.25 x 1.25 count toward that 1.5 requirement?

You have to wager the deposit plus bonus three times at minimum odds of 1.5. So if you deposit $100 and get a $100 bonus, you have to bet $200 three separate times at 1.5 odds minimum.

4. I'm a little confused by the handicaps on this site. Take today's Williams-Serena vs. Kvitova match: 1) Williams-Serena -3 at 2.0, 2) Kvitova +3 at 1.9, 3) TIE Kvitova +3 at 10. If I got this right: I bet on Williams-Serena, she wins by 3 or more games—I win. Or I bet Kvitova +3, she loses by 3 or fewer—I win. It's just weird how they don't have those "half-game" options we usually see back home.

Yeah, they actually offer a "Tie" option for tennis too.🙂
Specifically for this match, they have three handicap options:
Williams-Serena -3@2.00
Kvitova +3@1.90
Tie - Kvitova +3@10.00 That "Tie" part basically covers that missing half-game gap.

Anyway, there's a lot of info here, might be worth a read...

Also, regarding the bonus, check which countries aren't covered.
Quote : Residents of the following countries are not eligible for this offer : USA, Ukraine, Armenia, Vietnam, Belarus,USA, Mexico, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Canada, Georgia, Moldova, Mexico, Romania, Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Canada, Slovakia, China, Taiwan.

Thanks for the reply 🙂. I guess foreign betting sites aren't really an option for me right now—which basically means I'm stuck using the domestic ones for the next few months👎.

Brian Hill said:I've spent enough time betting online to know how the game works, so I figured I'd put together a quick rundown of the top sportsbooks out there. Hopefully, this helps a few of you out...

Online betting has its perks... besides being open 24/7, most of the big names out there are handing out welcome bonuses that match your first deposit 100%. So if you drop $10, you’ve got $20 to play with. If you put down $30, you’re looking at $60. As for security, there isn't much to worry about. These major platforms have more users than most entire countries in the North America combined, and they dump massive amounts of cash into making their interfaces smooth and secure. Plus, since these sites sponsor huge leagues and clubs, you can stream over 500 games a week directly through them. You get to watch the action and place live bets without ever leaving your couch...

DraftKings DraftKings is pretty much the top dog for online betting right now. They’re running a 100% match on your first deposit up to $30. So, you sign up, drop 30 bucks, and suddenly you're sitting on 60. It’s easily one of the best platforms out there—slick interface, super easy to navigate, and everything works smoothly. The selection is massive, too. They cover just about everything, including all those niche regional leagues you can't find anywhere else. And the depth of markets? Insane. For some Champions League matches, they’ll have like 400 different prop bets and options available for a single game. Seriously, 400... One huge plus is that they carry tons of lower-tier US soccer leagues that most sites ignore. Plus, they aren't nearly as quick to lock down bets as the local brick-and-mortar shops. You'll often see a bet get blocked at a physical sportsbook because of some weird technicality, but over at DraftKings, you can usually get your action in without any issues...
The live betting interface is actually pretty slick. They stream a ton of matches too—everything from the Bundesliga and La Liga to Serie A and plenty more... you just need an open account to watch.
Every year they roll out those birthday bonuses for users... Naturally, the interface works in English too...

FanDuel is one of the big players in the online betting game...
The odds are pretty decent here. They don't have quite as many events listed compared to DraftKings, but for your average bettor, it’s more than enough... Live betting is alright, though I feel like it could be better since their live selection isn't exactly massive. They do tend to hold higher lines than other books, though...

DraftKings also has a multilingual interface. Their live betting setup is actually pretty slick—you can bet on whatever you're watching in real time, from the opening whistle to the final buzzer... Best part is they don't mess with combo limits. You can stack your live bets with whatever matches haven't even kicked off yet...

BetMGM isn't throwing out any welcome bonuses right now, but honestly, they’re one of the heavy hitters in the game. Any serious bettor really ought to have an account there. The interface is easy to navigate, and the sheer volume of events they cover is massive. They’re especially ahead of the curve when it comes to prop bets. You can jump on everything from total yellow cards and corner counts to shots on goal or player props like who's catching a card... plenty of ways to play if you know what you're doing...

Bet365 is doing a 100% match on your first deposit up to $100. They’ve got a decent selection and plenty of stuff to watch Live. It’s one of those better welcome offers for new users—basically, you put down $100 and you're sitting on $200. Even if you deposit less, they just double whatever amount you drop in... One of the big, old-school heavyweights out of the UK...

DraftKings - they’re doing a 100% match on your first deposit up to $30 right now. Decent setup, they don't juice the favorites' odds too much which is a plus...

bet-at-home 50% Bonus on your first deposit!
bet-at-home is pretty big in the US. The interface works fine, and they cover a ton of sports events from around here...

Anyway, hope this quick rundown of the top sites helps. If anyone needs a hand navigating online betting, just hit me up in the DMs. Happy to help...

Hey,

which online sportsbook would you suggest for roulette? Also, what's the actual
difference between European and American roulette anyway?
I've been playing for fun on DraftKings roulette, just messing around
betting on a single color, then when I lose, I bump the stake by
+1 and just keep going. So far, even just for fun, I'm always up...
I'm assuming this same logic applies if I start playing for real money too????

thanks!

Finally caught the difference between EU and US roulette. The US version has double zeros while
the EU one just has one... so how much am I actually out if I’m playing, say
red or black and drop $5, but the ball lands on zero?

thanks!

In that scenario, you lose exactly what you put down. 🤷 🤣

Just checked it myself... if the zero hits, you only get half back. And I just tested it by hitting the zero, and yeah, it really just took half.
🙂

What do you guys think about this strategy? Just stick to one color, and if I miss, I bump my bet up by $1 until I hit it... then go back to my regular stake?

thanks!

I honestly don't think they can even collect taxes on this because there’s just no way to track the money. Back here in the States, everything is tied directly to your Social Security number, so you're always on the radar, but how on earth are they going to track what you're doing at some random sportsbook in the Cayman Islands? 😁 From what I gather, a ton of these operations are tucked away in exotic locations specifically so the owners can dodge taxes and keep their margins high.

I suppose there might be some penalties set for the bookmakers themselves, though people on this forum have been saying that betting through foreign sites is basically a gray area; technically it's against the rules, but let's be real, nobody is actually out there policing it.

Quick question about online betting and casino games
I'm hitting the roulette tables, and lately I've been playing with virtual credits too, but I'm guessing
it’s basically the exact same thing as playing for real cash—aside from the fact that I'm just playing for fun? Like, the numbers coming up and the sequence of events should be identical, right?

Also, what's the verdict on https://www.draftkings.com

thanks!

Does that 100% match up to $30 at DraftKings still exist? I can't find the fine print anywhere on their site. If anyone actually knows the deal, just drop a link. Thanks
