I’m trying to figure out what the deal is with daily betting limits on sites like DraftKings or BetOnline... how much can you actually push a single parlay through in a day? Also, what’s the absolute floor for a minimum bet on one slip?

Bryan Adams6 said:Has anyone ever tried opening multiple accounts just to milk the bonuses? I've already squeezed every bit of value out of the ones under my own name... now I'm thinking about setting up some accounts for my girlfriend or my sister—just need a little extra "boost" to kick off the season.😍

How do they even track stuff like that? Is it IP addresses? Or what? 😕

It’s IP addresses, last names, home addresses, all of it. Americans aren't usually the target, but people from certain regions are notorious for bonus abuse, and offshore sites definitely keep a much closer eye on those types of users. If you get caught red-handed doing this, just say goodbye to whatever cash is sitting in both accounts.😉

EDIT: Unless you're planning on fighting them through the BBB or trying to pull some "it wasn't me" nonsense. Even then, it’s a massive, exhausting headache and honestly, it's a total gamble.

In one episode of Bones, a character gets kicked out for the exact same reason because she was
counting cards, haha. 🤣

Check out 'Bringing Down the House.' It’s about those MIT students who supposedly cleaned out Vegas casinos (though they ended up banned, whatever). Some of the card counting stuff is explained really well—how you track small, big, and neutral cards, and how roles shift depending on the count. Basically, it's a goldmine of useful tips and shortcuts if you're actually serious about playing. The movie even shows the "training" they went through before hitting the floor, including all those mental tests. Definitely worth a watch.

Got a quick question... is it better to play blackjack solo against the house online, or
is there an edge to playing in a multi-player lobby at the same time?

thanks

It seems like those shady bookies at DraftKings are constantly pulling live matches out of their betting markets, I mean, I can't tell if it's because a game is winding down or just right when things are getting interesting🙄. They actually just pulled the Federer-Nadal match from the board while it was sitting at 3-4 in the first set😠. My best guess is they probably hit some kind of individual event betting limit🤷
edit: Actually, scratch that—it wasn't the limit, they put it back up. So, maybe I'm not as smart as I thought myself

Does anyone else here spend their time betting or trading on DraftKings? You know, the biggest exchange out there for sports odds?

Hey guys, so I set up an account at DraftKings yesterday and snagged one of those "whatever" bonuses. Honestly, I don't really care much about these online sportsbooks, but figured I'd give it a shot. I dropped $30 in as a deposit and ended up with $45 after the bonus since I didn't bother checking how it works. Just to test the waters, I put $10 on Bran - viking yesterday and won, so now I'm sitting on $54. Then I actually bothered to read the fine print and realized I might have messed up. Since I have $54 right now, I'm wondering if this works: if I bet the full $45 (my starting amount, deposit + bonus) at +100 odds today, I get $90. If I then roll that entire $90 at +100, I've got $180, which means I've technically cycled the initial $45 three times—I just need one more spin since it says I need a 4x rollover. So, do I have to bet the whole stack every single time to hit that 4x requirement, or can I just play with $45? Also, since I didn't dump the full $45 into my first bet and only played $10, does that $54 I have now count as my base for the rollover, or am I still working off the original $45?

Cheers and thanks for the help

Any kind soul out there with a Moneybookers account looking to make a quick buck? Hit me up. It’s a two-minute gig. Thanks.

Look, I’ll just lay it out straight so everyone knows what’s up. I’m looking for someone to do a quick swap with me—I want to move some funds from my Moneybookers account over to yours, and in exchange, you send the cash to my checking account or via DraftKings. For such a small, easy task, I’m throwing in a $10 commission. Cheers.👍

So, I just turned 18 and figured it's about time I actually started betting online, maybe checking out sites like Bwin or whatever else is out there.
I’m basically asking if someone could just walk me through the whole process and lay it all out for me, you know? Just give me the simplest, most straightforward breakdown possible on how to get this thing moving. 🙂

Head over to the SS site and sign up there; it’s honestly much more straightforward and secure than trying to deal with Bwin, for example.

Look, I know all about DraftKings, but I’m really itching to test the waters with some other online sportsbooks. I want to see how the whole process actually plays out elsewhere.

Hey there. I’m also a total newbie to online betting. I’m looking for a safe spot to play where I can just bet big on those tiny odds—basically slow and steady, like dropping $1,500 on a 1.01 line just to grab a quick $15.
Does that actually work? It sounds easy enough, and I really want to avoid anything shady, but it feels like everyone in the US is taking a 5% cut.
I honestly have no clue what I'm doing, so if any veterans could walk me through how to get started and where to go, I’d really appreciate it. May Bog bless you all with some good luck! Thanks in advance.

Before you go down that rabbit hole of pure nonsense, do yourself a favor and actually read through these threads first.

So, I actually placed a bet yesterday that there’d be under 6.5 goals in the US vs. Canada match at odds of 1.01. Both games ended up being 0-0.
It’s a tiny win, but hey, I’ll take it.

One slip-up and you're stuck needing a hundred straight wins just to break even on a $1,500 loss. That's not math, it's insanity.🤷

steeltiger18 said:You miss just once, and suddenly you’re chasing your tail, needing to hit a hundred more bets just to claw back your initial $1,500. Honestly, that kind of math doesn't even make sense to a sane person. It's pure insanity. 🤷

Long-term profit is the only thing that matters; everything else is just noise. Honestly, looking back at that game against the Irish, the odds of seeing over six goals were so microscopic that even a 1.01 line felt like a steal.
Look, if I saw things starting to go south, I’d just cut my losses immediately. I wouldn't sit there watching the ship sink—I'd close the position right then and there, making sure I didn't lose more than 20% of the play.
You can't even begin to wrap your head around what "logic" actually means until you've stepped back and looked at the bottom line after a full month. At the end of the day, if you walked away with a profit, you crushed it—I don't care what the odds were. Period.

Jamie Rivera78 said:At the end of the day, it’s all about long-term profit—everything else is just noise. Personally, I think the odds of seeing over six goals in a game against Iraq were incredibly slim; honestly, even a 1.01 payout felt like decent value at the time.
If I noticed things heading south, I would have just cut my losses early, maybe taking a hit of no more than 20%.
As for whether you actually made a "smart" move, you can reflect on that a month from now once you look back at the numbers. If you walked away with a profit, you did fine, regardless of what the odds looked like.

I think you might be mixing up a couple of different concepts here, 😉

Did you even bother reading the threads I linked in my previous posts?

Look, I don't just chase numbers blindly. If the math says the risk-to-reward ratio actually makes sense, then I’m in. Obviously, I’m not out here lighting money on fire by betting on a 1.01 line every single time.
Also, you gotta realize that the odds over on DraftKings are way better. What looks like a pathetic 1.01 elsewhere might be at least a 1.03 here (and even higher if you catch it live), so the actual risk isn't nearly as bad as what's being claimed in that thread.
Bottom line? I can agree that chasing those tiny 1.01 margins is probably a losing game at most sportsbooks, unless you're playing where the juice is actually worth it.
