Guys, can anyone help me out?

A few days ago, I opened an account at DraftKings... I deposited $20 via PayPal and now I'm sitting on $120, but they won't let me play. They've put a limit on my account. When I asked them why and how long this would last, they just told me they don't have to provide any reasons for their decision. WTF?!?!?!

Anyway, I'm planning to withdraw my money through PayPal... does anyone know what kind of verification I'll need to go through?

Also, can someone suggest a decent international sportsbook that actually has good lines on handball player props? Since that's really all I'm betting on right now. Thanks in advance.

jadesailor said:Then why on earth do they give me such a garbage exchange rate when converting currency? When I deposit into Marathon using my PayPal account which is set to USD, they charge me a rate of 8.

Just ask them. Why bother guessing? I tried doing the same thing—depositing from my PayPal account into USA using USD, and they gave me a terrible rate. Then, when I tried withdrawing from USA back to PayPal, the rate was even worse.

swiftlynx34 said:I’ve had a Neteller account since day one... card and all. The whole headache started when I made this foreign currency deposit and ended up with a totally different amount than what I expected. To make matters worse, those vultures insisted on paying me out exclusively through that specific foreign currency account, even though I’d switched over to using Neteller for my subsequent deposits. Usually, these betting sites just send the winnings straight back to whatever account you used for your most recent deposit, right? It's such a hassle.

So, I shot them an email asking if I could just pull my funds straight to PayPal. Against all odds, they actually approved it and the money hit my account without any drama. Since I'm right on the border near Canada, I can just head over there and withdraw the cash without getting eaten alive by fees. The only real headache with PayPal is that annoying daily withdrawal limit—you can only grab $500 at a time. Such a pain.

Do you usually use a Neteller card or a Chase card when you're withdrawing cash over in Canada?
And why exactly is that? I mean, what's the actual fee over there compared to what we're paying here at home?

I assume they're using Neteller; why on earth would anyone use a Chase card to withdraw cash in Canada?
The ATM withdrawal fee is the same everywhere—a flat $4.
And since they're withdrawing in Canada, they'll probably be using Euros anyway.

If I try to fund my Skrill account using my DraftKings balance—assuming the funds are sitting there in Euros—will the system handle the currency conversion automatically?

Also, I’m assuming it doesn't matter if the names on the accounts don't match perfectly?

I assume it does not matter that the accounts (Skrill and DraftKings) are under different names?

1. Yes.
2. I am uncertain.

Is there any truth to the idea that winnings from sportsbooks can only be paid out using the exact same method you used to deposit? Isn't it actually possible to withdraw funds through several different channels?

Edward Howard8 said:Guys, can anyone lend me a hand?

I opened an account with DraftKings just a few days ago. I deposited 20 bucks via Skrill, managed to turn it into 120, and now they’re blocking me from playing. My account is limited. So, I ask them why this is happening and how long this restriction lasts, and their response? They tell me they don't have to provide any reasons for their decision. WTF?!?!?!

Does anyone actually know what the drill is for sending money through Skrill? I'm planning on using it, but I need to know if they're going to hit me with some ridiculous verification process or demand a mountain of paperwork before they let the transaction go through. Any heads-up would be appreciated.

Can anyone recommend a decent foreign sportsbook that actually offers solid lines on handball? I'm looking for deep markets on player props and everything else, since that’s really all I’m betting on these days. Thanks in advance!

Anyone there? Sorry for the bump, but I really need some help here, urgently.

I would suggest that you attempt to initiate a withdrawal first, as the platform will then inform you precisely which documents they require for the verification process; furthermore, I recommend researching various American sportsbook operators and examining their specific promotional offers so that you may identify which one provides terms most favorable to your particular style of play.

Why on earth should anyone care about reading a few pages back?
I have gone ahead and detailed my own personal experiences dealing with those offshore betting sites, and if you want my honest opinion, you should steer clear of BetMGM specifically because they tend to freeze accounts without warning, leaving you with the very real possibility that you might never see your winnings again!

Well, I’m an idiot. I saw those massive margins and signed up immediately... I’m just hoping it actually pays out, though I can't see why it wouldn't. By the way, why on earth are they refusing to pay your buddy his $650?

I've been scouting around different sportsbooks, but I haven't seen a single decent line for handball anywhere. If you don't mind me asking, where exactly are you guys placing your bets?

You can play at the local US bookies, though it’s a total rip-off once the taxman takes his cut, or you can use Unibet—but honestly, most of their margins leave a bad taste in my mouth... 🤣

BetCity—what on earth were you thinking going there?

I’m looking for a bit of guidance here. I came across some info suggesting that when you’re dealing with offshore sportsbooks, you can only withdraw funds using the exact same method you used to deposit them. Specifically, I was looking at DraftKings and FanDuel, since they really are top-tier in my book. Is it actually possible to mix things up—say, using PayPal one time, a VISA card the next, and then Venmo after that? And while we're at it, does anyone know if they allow you to pull your winnings out through multiple different channels? One more thing for the online Live Blackjack enthusiasts out there: does anyone have a lead on some current bonus codes for Live Blackjack? Every time I try to hunt for something, I just end up finding outdated offers from two years ago that expired before I even finished reading them.

As for the bonuses, I haven't the slightest clue!

Regarding the withdrawals, though—if there is a standard rule to follow—it typically works such that you withdraw using the exact same method you used for your most recent deposit.

For instance, imagine this scenario: first, you make a deposit via PayPal, then a second one through Venmo, and finally a third via your VISA card.
In that case, your withdrawals would follow the reverse order: 1. VISA, 2. Venmo, and 3. PayPal.

Now, if you happen to be playing on FanDuel, they actually allow you to select your preferred withdrawal method, provided you have successfully completed at least one deposit using that specific method beforehand!
As for DraftKings, I’m afraid I can't say for certain.

As for withdrawals, the general rule of thumb is that you pull your money out using the same method you used for your last deposit.

For instance, if your 1st deposit was via PayPal, your 2nd via Venmo, and your 3rd via VISA,
your withdrawals would follow that pattern: 1. VISA, 2. Venmo, 3. PayPal.

Over at FanDuel, they actually let you pick your withdrawal method, provided you've made at least one deposit through that specific channel first.
I’m not entirely certain how things work over at DraftKings.

Thanks, I appreciate the help.

DraftKings and FanDuel are in a league of their own; I'm not sure the other guys can even stay in the same conversation.

So, BetMGM hit my inbox this morning with an offer—a 100% bonus on deposits up to $110. 👋
Standard terms apply, obviously. You just need to place moneyline bets at odds of 1.50 or higher, wager the amount three times over, and then you can withdraw.

Applying the standard terms, naturally. You simply need to wager the amount ML at odds of 1.50 or higher, complete a 3x rollover, and the funds become eligible for withdrawal.

Is this referring to the money line? I am wondering if the total parlay odds need to be 1.50, or if every individual leg on the slip must be priced above 1.5.

The odds on any single leg simply cannot fall below 1.50.
It isn't quite like playing on a casual sportsbook where you can just string together ten different picks to reach a total multiplier of 1.8 or maybe even 2.0, wouldn't you agree?
