Can someone verify this for me?

1. Does PayPal charge a $1.90 fee for ATM withdrawals while Neteller hits you with $4?

2. When I make a deposit at my local bank branch, they don't take a percentage of the deposit itself, but I still end up paying a bank service fee?

Also, can I actually deposit or withdraw using PayPal or Neteller with a card that isn't under the same name as my account holder info?

The email method is what you use if you're sending money to someone else via PayPal.
I wouldn't recommend Canada to start with—pathetic selection, terrible odds. Check out BetMGM or FanDuel instead. For singles, BetOnline is the only way to go!

Does anyone know if BetMGM and FanDuel still insist that the first payout goes directly to a bank account?

Well, BetMGM isn't exactly looking for it, though as for BetRivers, I really can't say for certain!

DraftKings is becoming a joke with these odds. It’s ridiculous how much lower their lines are compared to, say, FanDuel. Sure, they have great live coverage, but half the time the actual prices are just laughable—at least for the markets I play. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this too.

Every individual leg needs to be at least 1.50.
Yep, money line—handicaps and over/unders don't count toward the requirements.

I don't know—for instance, soccer over/unders seem convincingly higher than what we see at our local US sportsbooks, especially live.
Which specific bets have you noticed having such low odds?

From my observations regarding the favorites in both tennis and soccer, the margins are quite telling. For example, just yesterday, a certain matchup was listed at 1.20 with Marathon, while DraftKings had it at 1.16, and this pattern holds true for almost every pairing. Even at the local shops here in the States, they stay right around that 1.20 mark.

I could use a little help here. I'm looking at FanDuel, and I'm struggling to wrap my head around these back and lay bets. When I try to put down, say, $100 on a back bet, everything seems straightforward and lines up perfectly with the odds. But when I attempt to place that same $100 on a lay bet, the numbers it spits out look completely nonsensical. Could someone walk me through an example using over/under markets, maybe for today's LA Galaxy vs LAFC game?

Yeah, money lines, spreads, and totals aren't even part of the equation here.

He clearly doesn't realize, for instance, that the over/under lines in MLS are consistently higher than what you'll find at our local US bookies, especially when betting live.
Which specific markets are you seeing such low odds on?

Those of you who have been betting with international books for a while should really drop some reviews for those of us just looking to sign up. It would be helpful to know which ones are best for straight wins, or specifically for totals and whatnot. Single bets are straightforward—FanDuel and BetOnline are the gold standard—but when it comes to building parlays, it gets murky. There are so many options out there that it’s tough to pinpoint where the best value lies for a multi-leg play. So, help us rookies out... maybe touch on live MLS betting too, whether they actually beat the domestic guys and which ones to stick with.

DraftKings is definitely my go-to for live betting.
They have the biggest selection out there, hands down.
The markets are super detailed, too.
BetMGM is honestly kind of a letdown compared to them.

Just my two cents.

So, help us newbies out... maybe even some insight on live MLS betting—are they actually better than the local domestic books? And which ones specifically?

If you're looking to build parlays, DraftKings is my go-to.
For live betting, DraftKings is easily the winner—their selection is massive, and their settlement and odds are solid.

Just a few days ago, I was comparing the odds for a soccer match between a local US book and DraftKings.

I can't recall the exact minute—doesn't matter—but the over/under odds at the local book were sitting around 1.60-2.10, whereas at DraftKings, they looked more like 1.65-2.25. Something like that.
And let's not forget that domestic books hit you with the vig and taxes—that 1.60 ends up being significantly lower in reality.

Out of the international options, the only ones I wouldn't touch are BetMGM and DraftKings—they've been terrible for me in terms of both variety and pricing.

Just a few days ago, I was actually comparing the odds on a soccer match between USA live lines and DraftKings.

I can't recall exactly which minute it was, but it doesn't really matter; while the over/under odds at the local US books were sitting around 1.60-2.10, DraftKings seemed to be offering something more like 1.65-2.25.
And let’s not forget that our domestic sportsbooks will hit you with the vig and a 10% tax, so those 1.60 odds end up looking significantly worse.

Among the international options, the only ones I wouldn't recommend are BetMGM and DraftKings; they are honestly terrible when it comes to both their variety and their pricing.

but they are actually the best for spotting errors. It's true, sometimes they void bets, and other times they just swallow their pride and admit they messed up.

James Taylor3 said:Oh wow, DraftKings actually hit me up via email this morning with a 100% bonus on deposits up to $100. 👋
Standard terms and conditions apply, obviously. You’d probably need to hit some moneyline bets at 1.50 odds or better and roll it over three times before you can actually cash out.

Do I need to enter some kind of promo code or something?
Is there a specific way I have to deposit to trigger it? I was thinking about just using my credit card.

I haven't really placed any bets there in a while, so I'm a bit out of the loop. How's the tennis looking lately? It seems like the selection is pretty thin, though the NBA stuff looks decent enough. 🙏

I put three tennis matches on a parlay and the odds on FanDuel were 1.96, while on DraftKings they were only 1.74 for the exact same thing. Even the total payout for those three legs was better on FanDuel than at any of our domestic shops. Plus, I often find my ticket has better odds on FanDuel than on DraftKings.

Setting up an accumulator on DraftKings today... anyone know how to place a parlay with two or more legs without the app trying to force individual stakes on every single game? I want it all treated as one combo.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance!

Well, if you just click through all the odds you want to include on your slip, you'll see a section labeled "multiple bet options" right there on the right side, sitting just below your selected picks.
Just give that a click.
If you've picked out five different matches, for instance, it will clearly display "5 folds" along with the total combined odds right underneath it. From there, you simply pop your desired stake into the box, hit "place bet," and wouldn't that just be wonderful? You're all set!

Yeah, they’ll email you the code—obviously.
I’m not entirely sure if it applies to every deposit method, but I assume it does; wouldn't make much sense for them to restrict it.

Hard to say. I don't have a FanDuel account, and their selection and odds aren't really aligned with what I usually bet on.

Wait, so you mean you just ended up with the code and nothing else? Or, if that didn't work, what are we actually supposed to do to get the code in the first place?

They send the code directly to users via email. It’s their call who gets an offer—they decide. 😁

Does anyone know the final score for Patriot vs Chicago?

ESPN says it was 1:0 at the whistle—and they're NEVER right...

But then DraftKings marked my over 1 bet as a loss...

I might risk another ban here, but nobody's going to tell me this was legitimate, so here's what happened:

In the 84th minute, a goal goes in and DraftKings reports it... the score stays for one minute, and then suddenly the goal is disallowed (???) and they call the end of the game at 85.24 minutes?!?!?!

🙂

Turns out it was 0:0—ESPN updated their stats...

Whatever, I'm filing a complaint with DraftKings—I won't let them hide behind technicalities

It's only about 25 bucks, but it's the principle of the thing... I'm not letting them rip me off like that
