Honestly, stay away from those online sites like Bwin or Bet365; the headache of actually getting your money out, not to mention a dozen other issues, just isn't worth it. Based on my own experience, my advice is to stick to local US sportsbooks that offer an online platform—it makes getting your cash much smoother. If anyone's actually serious about online wagering, you can find more details over at my personal forum chat. You can follow my live bets there too; I'm not playing for kicks, I'm playing to make a profit. If you don't believe me, just check out the slips I've posted on the forum.

Alright, fair enough, but now quit plugging that forum because advertising is against the rules here (unless, of course, you're paying for the ad space). 😉

Based on my own experience, if you want to do this, stick to local US bookies that have an online presence—getting your money is way smoother. You sound weirdly familiar. Wait—were you the same guy a few years back spamming everywhere under the handle "Milanko"? You had that blog and kept droning on about "professional" betting and how it was all a massive business opportunity, right? I see you haven't changed a bit. Honestly, I don't even have the energy to try and dismantle your arguments anymore—there's just no point.🙄

b-a-h put out an option today asking if Arda is going to score or not.
Since I’ve got that on my slip along with one other pair I'm waiting on—and let's be real, everyone knows Arda isn't even playing today—I'm wondering how they handle that. Does it just count as a 1.00 payout or what?

scythe, ever since the internet reached the small towns outside the university, we've dealt with crazy Milanko, aka profitipi. He uses names similar to one of those presidential candidates from the last election, spamming forums and blogs with his little ideas about profitable betting. 🙂
Of course, he doesn't actually know how to bet, which is why he's constantly trying to rally a crew to run a forum (this is at least the tenth one he's tried to start).
I can think of at least ten of his theories, and they're all nonsense and unrealistic—just like this current one regarding withdrawal issues with online bookies. Any American can legally hold an account at any bank in the world, using a Visa or Maestro card to withdraw cash from an ATM or pay bills without the government having a direct line into their specific income.

Does anyone happen to know which international bookies offer a welcome bonus on the first deposit, and what kind of terms and conditions come with them?

copperdrifter24 said:Hey there, good people... I'm pretty young and definitely an amateur when it comes to betting, so I figured I’d join this forum to see if I can pick up some wisdom from the veterans here.
I want to open an account with an online sportsbook, but I'm totally stuck on which one to choose. From what I can gather—and maybe I'm just misreading the room—most people don't seem all that thrilled with Bet-at-home. I could be wrong, though, which is exactly why I'm asking you guys—which one should I actually go with? Also, another thing—I'm looking to put down about 50 USD to start, and my plan is to focus exclusively on ties. I was thinking of chasing X results using a doubling strategy... starting small with 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 USD, because—and I really hope I'm right here—I'm banking on the idea that a team like Fiorentina in Italy won't pull off more than five draws in a row without a win or loss breaking the streak.
What do you all think? Any advice would be huge, mostly because if this is a bad idea, I’d rather know now before I turn a small mistake into a massive financial headache. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to chat.

If that's your style, you might have better luck hunting for ties in hockey. In the Swiss or American leagues, they happen quite often, and the payouts are much juicier than in soccer—usually hovering around 4.

I haven't seen anyone here actually playing there or even signed up yet.

Why that specific sportsbook, though? I think there are plenty better options out there... 🤔

There was a really solid thread on this sub about those online bookies; you'd probably find it interesting to read.

Check these out to get started:

I personally use them for my poker account. They have a rock-solid reputation, even if their live support team is a total circus. Withdrawals via Moneybookers are always lightning-fast. I haven't dipped my toes into the sports betting side yet, but it's an option.

Could someone recommend a website that allows me to input my own picks specifically for tracking statistics?

Isn't Excel or Google Sheets enough for you?
I mean, those things have endless possibilities. 🤷

As soon as I ask, the answer is clearly no. 😉

Building my own spreadsheet from scratch would take quite a bit of time—at least if I want it to be as detailed as I require—and the same goes for customizing the few existing ones I've stumbled upon online. Furthermore, when it comes to portability, it's much easier for me to just access a dedicated website whenever I need to, rather than trying to host a spreadsheet online via Google Docs or God knows what else.

Building my own spreadsheet from scratch takes a massive amount of time—especially if I want it as detailed as I usually demand. Even tweaking the ones I’ve stumbled upon online is a chore. Plus, when it comes to portability, it’s just way easier for me to have a dedicated site I can hit whenever I need to rather than messing around with uploading spreadsheets to Google Docs or God knows what else.

I use Excel and I'm pretty happy with it, I just don't know how to upload it to the forum. 🙂

Building a custom spreadsheet takes time—especially if you want it as detailed as I do. Tweaking existing ones I found online is an option too, but for portability, I’d rather just have a dedicated site to visit when needed instead of uploading a sheet to Google Docs or God knows what else.

I'm not sure there's any specific web app out there for stats.

Regarding the spreadsheet thing—yeah, it takes time, but once it's set up, you're just cruising through the data entry. You can always tweak, expand, or customize your own sheet, which you can't really do with apps. Honestly, I think it's better to spend the time building your own than relying on some random app for your stats.

I was actually going to mention Google, but you beat me to it. 🙂

Good luck searching!

@briskotter14, you can't upload a spreadsheet directly to the forum. If you want to show it off, just take a screenshot and post a link to the image.

Hey everyone.

So, here's the deal. A buddy of mine landed a steady gig working on a ship—doesn't really matter—but he left me his Bet-at-home account with some random, nonsense username he used when he signed up. Anyway, there’s about 300 USD sitting in there now, and I'm wondering if there's any way I can actually get my hands on that cash...

Maybe through Moneybookers or something similar? I'm open to any suggestions...

Thanks in advance.

An account with fake info for online betting? If he used bogus details during registration, you're probably out of luck. Also, the whole "friend on a boat" thing sounds a bit sketchy. Just because he's at sea doesn't mean he'll never have web access again, right? Seems a little thin.

Check the site's Terms and Conditions. I'm pretty sure they require scanned IDs. If the registration info doesn't match the official documents, they won't approve it.

Nothing was rigged. He was mostly hitting the roulette table anyway. His main goal wasn't even about making a profit—because let’s be honest, you can't actually make money from a sportsbook—but somehow he pulled it off, and there you have it. Besides, what does any of that have to do with my question?
