Well, then mister six tenths lost the rear end of his car while coming out onto the straight during the warm-up lap in California 2005 or 2006. A pretty embarrassing moment in front of his home crowd, wouldn't you say?

Man, plenty of guys have spun out during the warm-up lap. Off the top of my head, I can think of Prost and Coulthard, but there were definitely others... But seeing someone wreck it while heading out to the grid like di Grassi is actually pretty rare...
