Button isn't even going to keep up with those top four.
Hamilton’s looking at another gearbox change, which basically guarantees he'll drop at least five spots on the grid.
Nah.. check this out http://www.totalf1.com/full_story/vi...lton_in_Korea/
Since he ended up using a spare gearbox for the race, there's actually a loophole in the rules that lets Hamilton reset his four-race gearbox cycle in South Korea, so he’ll be starting the weekend with a completely fresh unit ☕

However, because he used a replacement 'box for the race, a clause in the regulations allows Hamilton to begin a new four-race gearbox cycle in South Korea, meaning he will start the weekend with a brand new unit ☕
Right, so he's saved by the fact that it was labeled a replacement gearbox rather than just a new one.
Honestly, that's a huge relief for him. If he had been facing a five-place penalty at the start, he wouldn't have stood a prayer of doing anything meaningful. This way, he actually has a fighting chance.

Look, the race itself wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but that start was absolutely wild and Kamui was driving like a maniac. If you ask me, it was a pretty solid race 👍
If only we'd had some rain at least 😢
But whatever, I figured the race would be pretty dull since everyone would just play it safe with the season winding down... but it actually turned out alright

Chris Chase5 said:So Michael is "grandpa," huh? That's a hilarious nickname. At 41, he worked hard enough to actually be a grandfather. Honestly, I’ve been rooting for him since day one, and I still am—which makes this sudden shift in public opinion feel pretty shallow and hypocritical to me. Realistically, plenty of guys in their thirties don't drive like they're eighty, but I guess calling him old makes you all feel tougher. And unless your family traditions involve having 40-year-old grandfathers, maybe apply the same logic to your translations as you would to a bad joke...🙂
....
👍
I hear you, but the "grandpa" thing is really just because Miha has been in Formula 1 forever, retired, and then came back. That's why the label stuck. 😁
Whatever, let's just wait for idući sezona. Maybe he'll have a breakout year and remind everyone who he really is. You never count out an experienced veteran. 😳
EDIT: And for the record, nobody is inflating their ego by calling him "grandpa," and I certainly wouldn't dream of comparing my own driving skills to his. 😵

I totally get where you're coming from. That "grandpa" nickname sticks mostly because Miha has been in Formula 1 forever. He basically retired, then decided to come back out of nowhere, so yeah, he's definitely the "grandpa" of the grid now. 😁
But hey, let's just wait for idući sezona. Who knows? He might absolutely crush it and prove everyone wrong. You can never truly count out those old, seasoned pros. 😳
By next year, we'll probably be calling him great-grandpa. 😁
Honestly though, that doesn't change his talent. As much as I find the whole "grandpa" thing a bit much, if you look past Alonso, I still think he's the best driver on the grid right now.
This season was really just him getting back into the swing of things in Formula 1, especially since his car isn't even in the top three. But listen, if Mercedes steps it up next year and Red Bull slows down just a touch—making it a four-way fight—I honestly think it’ll just be Alonso and the "grandpa" battling for the title. Nobody else would stand a chance.

but that doesn't change his driving skill. As much as I can't stand Deda, I still think he's the best driver on the grid right now, second only to Alonso.
Think of this season as him just getting back into the swing of things in Formula 1. Plus, the car isn't even top three. If Mercedes steps up their game next year and Red Bull slips up a bit—leaving us with four equal teams—I honestly think it'll just be a two-horse race between Alonso and Deda for the title. Nobody else would stand a chance.
Heh, you've got a point there...
Lately, I've been pulling for Alonso and really want to see him take the championship this year (though Webber is alright too). As for the rest of them, they haven't really earned a win yet.
And why not? Imagine next year seeing Alonso vs. Schumacher again. Man, that would be worth every penny to watch.😁

I’ve actually been rooting for Alonso lately, and I’d really love to see him take the title this season (though Webber is cool too). As for the rest of them? Honestly, I don't think they've earned a win just yet..
And hey, why not? Next year we might get a classic showdown of Alonso vs Schumacher—uff, that would be absolutely incredible to watch 😁
I'm pulling for Alonso too, and my second pick for this year has to be Webber.
Hopefully next year we get a total rerun of 2006. 😁 That was one hell of a season to remember.🙏

Another dud from McLaren. Honestly, I'm getting pretty frustrated here. Still holding out hope they'll pull it off and take the win in the end though...

🤣 and then the chipmunk wrapped up the chocolate😂
Good grief, what kind of crazy Deda is running in this title fight? He’s gotta take down Rosberg first, and honestly, he’s killing it🙏
Second off, if Kubica actually lands at Ferrari, I fully expect Alonso to be a total wreck—cranky, tearful... I wouldn't even be shocked if he showed up late to a race because he was too busy whining to the press in the paddock😳
While we're out here playing fortune teller
Next season, it'll be a neck-and-neck battle for the championship between Trulli and Kovalainen😁

I’m also holding my breath for these current idiots to step down with some shred of dignity by the end of the year. Then maybe America can actually start recovering under a new political order—one run by people who are actually sane, educated, and looking out for the best interests of this struggling nation, unlike the morons in charge now.
But hey, wishful thinking vs. reality.

Also, if Robert Kubica actually ends up at Ferrari, I’m expecting Fernando Alonso to be totally losing his mind—probably crying, honestly. It wouldn't even surprise me if he showed up late to a race because he was too busy whining to reporters in the paddock.😳
While we're out here making wild guesses...
Next season, it'll probably be Jarno Trulli vs. Heikki Kovalainen fighting for the title.😁
I don't really buy the idea of Kubica going to Ferrari.
I've got three candidates in mind for that second seat at Ferrari, in this order:
Adrian Sutil - his driving skills are legit, and he definitely deserves a shot with a top-tier team.
Kamui Kobayashi - he's fast, he's got style, and he's great. Since he's currently with Sauber, and everyone knows Sauber uses Ferrari tech and they have a solid relationship, it's actually a pretty realistic option.
Nick Heidfeld - he's reliable, consistent, and experienced. He doesn't have a ride secured for next season, and I'd love to see him in a Ferrari fighting for wins, because he's earned it.
