Why are you so obsessed with that Twinlab stuff?
What kind of cash are we talking about?

Well, tell me what you can get them for... I'm stuck on it because I actually need them. They're honestly the best multivitamins I've ever tried. Do you have any friendly advice or maybe some criticism regarding them? Thanks.

I see people constantly raving about different multivitamins, especially Twinlab, but I honestly don't get the hype. It feels like they’re all basically the same thing anyway, and Twinlab is pretty pricey.

To be honest, it's mostly just throwing money away. If you're a young, healthy person eating a diverse diet, you really don't need them. Then again, if your nutrition is a total mess, no amount of multivitamins is going to save you...

Personally, I've been getting mine from ABC Plus (so I just take a tablet 😁 whenever I'm grabbing a quick meal or dealing with a hectic schedule). At this rate, a single bottle lasts me way longer than six months. For me, it feels like the best bang for my buck...

Can we please use a little logic here? Whey was around long before everyone started obsessing over specific formulas, and pros were using it just like any other supplement back in the day. There weren't a hundred different brands on the shelf then, yet people were still putting on incredible physiques. At the end of the day, most of this is just noise. It doesn't matter if your shake is more or less foamy. What actually matters is your diet, your training, and your recovery. As long as you aren't consuming soy, you're fine. Real results are earned through grit and hard work; a supplement isn't going to do anything for you if the foundation isn't already solid.

I have a question,
around the Split area, where should I go to pick up some protein?
I noticed they carry some stuff at CVS ($17) and at GNC (starting from $20 and up),

What are some other solid protein sources besides the usual suspects like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy?

Dymatize Elite whey Protein
Twinlab 100% Whey Fuel
Scitec 100% Whey Protein
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard

Can anyone offer some advice on which one to pick? If you've used any of these, I'd value your honest opinion...

Thanks

They're all fine. Just grab whichever is cheapest.👍

Cottage cheese, for instance. 😉

Go with Optimum or GNC if you ask me.
I’m currently running with GNC and I'm satisfied with the results.
MWP is next on my list.
Avoid Scitec; it’s loaded with sugar, and frankly, I doubt how much actual protein is even in there.

Why bother with retail stores?
Just order online through an ad and arrange shipping via USPS; you'll end up saving more than you would walking into a shop.

Man, I wish it were actually that simple. In the old days, bodybuilders relied heavily on egg protein.☕
Without a solid training program and a deep understanding of anatomy, various training methodologies, biomechanics, and so on, even a perfect diet won't be enough—and the reverse is also true.

Avoid Scitec; it's loaded with sugar. You have to wonder if there's actually any protein in there at all.

Where on earth did you hear that?🙏🤣

Is it the Gold Standard Whey?

Anyone have a link or a contact for where you picked that up?
I'm actually looking for some multivitamins myself...

I’ve been running this supplement game and hitting the gym for about 15 years now. I tried Scitec a while back, and frankly, I was disappointed. The flavor was sickly sweet, and the solubility was a joke—it just clumps together and sticks to the spoon. It’s essentially just pure concentrate loaded with artificial sweeteners. It’s common knowledge that with a basic powder concentrate like that, you're looking at only about 50% protein content.
If you find that so hilarious, do yourself a favor and watch 60 Minutes tomorrow. Maybe then you'll finally realize that not all protein powders are created equal.
The link you provided discusses a recent investigation into tainted supplements being sold online. It’s a classic cautionary tale about the Wild West of the dietary supplement industry. Here is the reality: when you buy products from unverified third-party sellers online, you aren't just buying vitamins; you're playing Russian roulette with your health. These investigations consistently show that certain "natural" boosters are spiked with undisclosed pharmaceutical ingredients to make them feel more effective. It's deceptive, it's dangerous, and it's happening right under our noses in the US market. If a product promises miraculous results overnight, treat it like a red flag. Stick to reputable brands you can actually trust—think GNC or established names with transparent manufacturing processes. Don't let some fly-by-night website gamble with your physiology just because they have a flashy label. If you wouldn't trust a random stranger handing you a pill on a street corner in Chicago, don't trust a sketchy pop-up ad. Stay smart.

It’s honestly surprising that there are still people out there actually using that overrated Scitec stuff.

It’s interesting that people are still buying into that Scitec hype.

It’s funny that someone claiming 15 years of supplement experience would bother watching a show like 60 Minutes. Based on their reporting, they'd probably claim 99% of all supplements are toxic.😉

Yeah, I meant that Gold Whey.

Here is the website and their contact info so you can reach out; I'm not too sure about the multivitamins, though.👍

Of course I’m going to watch it. Honestly, based on the nonsense you’re spewing, it's clear you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
The powder was tested by actual professionals, not some random guy off the street.
I'm interested in this for another reason too: my work is actually tied to this industry, so I have skin in the game. 😉
