I'm looking to grab a ticket ASAP, and honestly, I don't even care what the price tag looks like right now.

If anyone's looking to hitch a ride, I've got two open spots in my car, and I'll be heading out from Zadar.

Rachel Bennett2 said:Man, I was just looking at the ticket listings and honestly, people are absolutely losing their minds over this. The demand for tickets is just through the roof right now—it feels like everyone and their mother is trying to snag a seat at the exact same time. It's kind of wild how fast things are moving.
I honestly think the organizers completely undershot what this crowd could handle; they really didn't account for how many people would actually show up. 😢

Honestly, after catching that show, I can't shake this feeling that the only thing actually being undervalued there was the crowd itself.

Honestly, the whole thing was just a total organizational disaster from start to finish.

I’ve seen some absolute train wrecks in my time, but man, I have never witnessed a disaster quite like this one.
Wait, what happened back in 2002? Was that when the lineup first started getting scaled back?
And don't even get me started on that afterparty that dragged on until 4 AM. What an absolute mess.
Who was hooking up with who in that crowd? It was pure chaos.
How on earth do you think having just one men's restroom and one women's restroom works for a crowd of 5,000 people? It's ridiculous.

A TOTAL DISASTER

I'm not even embarrassed about myself—I ended up just peeing in a corner of the stadium—but I feel terrible for that poor girl who had to wait thirty minutes just to find a place to go.

Thank God Norman did such a freaking incredible job keeping things under control so we didn't end up with actual violence or incidents.

So, honestly, the set was incredible—way better than Guetta’s. I mean, Slim is just on a completely different level when it comes to being a DJ and actually knowing how to work a crowd. Even the Wall Street vibe was there with the lighting; the whole light show was top-tier, definitely more sophisticated than that loud, obnoxious Guetta production.
Personally, I wasn't even bothered by the lack of restrooms or any of those little hiccups. The energy stayed electric the entire time, which was a massive contrast to that concert last week where it felt like half the people only showed up to be seen; they clearly had zero clue about this kind of music and spent the whole night just grumbling.
I read somewhere that he didn't even play a bis, but look, people, he basically wrapped things up with Satisfaction-Rockafeller Skunk, took a bow, and shut it down, only to come right back out and drop two more tracks once we started screaming for more. In my opinion, he did everything perfectly from his side, and if someone can't see that or just wants to nitpick every tiny detail, maybe they shouldn't be attending shows like this in the first place.
All in all:🙏👍

I read somewhere that there wasn't an encore, but seriously? He basically closed his set with Satisfaction-Rockafeller Skunk, took a bow, and wrapped things up, only to come back and drop two more tracks once we started screaming for more. In my opinion, he did everything perfectly, and if someone wants to nitpick over nothing, maybe they shouldn't bother showing up to shows like this.

I’m with you on all counts; since both our couples attended both shows, the Fatboy gig was absolute perfection and easily the best thing we've seen lately.
We weren't worried about the lack of bathrooms either, since we had no intention of leaving during his set anyway.
Guetta was a complete letdown for me; I was expecting a massive spectacle, but instead, the sound was thin, the crowd was checked out, and it was just a haze of smoke and nothingness.👎
Fatboy was flawless—his mixing was spot on, and even Wall Street was pulsing along to the rhythm; it was insane.
It feels like the crowd in Palm Springs actually knew how to party, unlike that mess at Madison Square Garden.
FATBOY🙂🙂 🙂

Honestly, considering what a total disaster this country is, I’d say the party was actually pretty damn good.

haha
look, you two are being way too much
why do you even care about the restrooms and all that? I guess it’s just youthful stupidity, right? 🙂
The whole "as long as the music is good, everything else is secondary" philosophy works fine for small club sets in cramped spaces with filthy bathrooms—honestly, it couldn't get any worse than that
but when you're throwing a massive festival like this one, the organization absolutely has to be top-tier for a few specific reasons
primarily so people actually want to come back to an event run by the same promoter (personally, I know I won't) and to keep people from losing their minds while waiting in lines for thirty minutes straight

either this crew ran into issues or they were just too cheap to throw in twenty more portable toilets, or maybe they just lied and said the music would go until sunrise when they actually shut things down at 2 AM... look... you need to demand more for your money, because if you don't, organizers like this will just lower your expectations and give you way less value than what you actually paid for

well, you two certainly have a certain perspective
I suppose I don't quite see why you both care so much about the restrooms and all that; maybe it's just that youthful, reckless energy, though I can't say for sure🙂
The whole "as long as the music is good, nothing else matters" philosophy works fine enough for small club nights in cramped spaces with filthy bathrooms—where things can hardly be any worse than they already are
but when someone organizes a massive festival like this one, the logistics really ought to be top-tier for a few specific reasons
primarily so people actually feel like coming back to an event run by the same promoter (personally, I know I won't) and to keep tensions from boiling over while everyone is stuck standing in lines for half an hour

It feels like this production either ran into some major snags or they were just being far too cheap to provide, say, twenty more portable toilets, or perhaps they claimed the music would go until dawn when they actually shut everything down by 2 AM... I mean... I think you really have to demand more for what you pay. If you settle for this, organizers will just keep lowering their standards and giving you less value than what you actually paid for

Well, my dear hiddensailor74, thank you for the compliment, though if you must call it "youthful recklessness," I suppose I moved past that phase about ten years ago when I was twenty; back then, I was just so desperate to finally get to a real party that I didn't even bother worrying about how well everything was organized. Thank God there wasn't any rain, which meant no smoke or other unpleasantness—just a nice open-air vibe👍.
I suppose you have a point that they could have put in more effort, but in my view, the music and the general atmosphere are the core elements; everything else is secondary, I guess

Honestly, pulling something like that at two in the morning is just straight-up nightmare fuel for most people. I mean, sure, the folks who actually showed up for the concert probably had a blast, but I didn't come here for the music—I came for the party, and let me tell you, I'm definitely not feeling it right now...
