Props to Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, and Robert Kubica 🙏🙏🙏

Christian Horner🙄, Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, and Red Bull 🤦

Honestly, the Red Bull pit crew was a total disaster. Those tire issues absolutely wrecked them, though let's be real—their driving sucked too. 😢

Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa🤣

If anyone deserves a penalty, it’s both of them for that pit entry, but Lewis Hamilton definitely deserves one for shoving Mark Webber. I bet we'll see a mountain of penalties after the race is over. 🤣

Props to McLaren🙏
Jenson Button took the win, but honestly, I think Lewis Hamilton actually had the better race—here’s why 🙏🙏 🙏
Renault looks fantastic again with Robert Kubica leading the charge, and Vitaly Petrov put in a solid drive today too🙏 🙏
Fernando Alonso🙄, I’m genuinely curious to hear what Felipe Massa has to say after that move on Alonso right before the pit stops
Sebastian Vettel was a bit off his game today, and Mark Webber wasn't exactly impressive either
It's a shame Jaime Alguersuari didn't manage to snag any points😢
Man, Nico Rosberg also drove an excellent race🙏
All things considered, it was a great race🙏

McLaren definitely had a hand in it; some people certainly profited from it. If they hadn't been there, Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, and Cube would have absolutely crushed the rest of the field.

Man, this Jenson Button guy is honestly such a trip with how he celebrates 😬—it’s kind of hilarious, really—and his wife is seriously gorgeous 😳

Michael Lee4 said:You’ve got Sky Sports and you aren't using this? Screw HD; this setup is worth way more than just image quality alone.

On my PC, I’ve got local news running via my tuner card, but on the main TV, I’m strictly glued to the live timing and the cockpit cam.

Look, I have a mountain of satellite cards at my disposal—including a full Sky subscription—but I always ended up sticking to the HD feeds. The problem was, whenever I tried to switch things up, hitting that green button wouldn't even bring up the sub-channels; it would just dump me straight into a list of plugins... 😉

btw... it’s wild how people still try to drag Jenson Button's name through the mud 🙄

The guy stays iconic on screen, has more guts than anyone else, and they still find a way to hate on him 🤦

And while we're talking about Button—I'm pretty much expecting tomorrow to be yet another confirmation of just how much he struggles behind the wheel.

I’ll also be looking for the magnificent Rainmaster on that podium. 🙏

What a magnificent epic fail!

😂🤣

PS: Anyone else here who hasn't managed to overtake the Rainmaster?

Mark my words, he’ll end the season ahead of Hemić.🙂

I guess I agree there was some impact—though it seems to apply to both drivers equally. If you look at it objectively, Alonso lost one position from where he started, so while the result isn't great, it isn't exactly a disaster either. Massa just didn't have much luck, and I don't think Alonso did anything to him that hasn't already happened in their previous races. Everything should probably be fine; this doesn't seem to be that kind of destructive rivalry you saw back during the McLaren 2007-e era.

Man, what is your problem? You’re acting like you’re stuck in some tiny town in the middle of nowhere.🤣

It’ll probably be on later, hopefully.😕

Honestly, I think Button is going to take the championship, just watch. 😁
Everyone else is out there making mistakes, but he's just sitting there quiet, staying composed, and getting the job done. I'm not exactly a fan—he's kind of like a chewed-up tire to me—but man, the guy is good. 😉

That’s exactly why the race was actually interesting; nobody bothered showing up to some damn F1 studio segment during the broadcast.👍

Sure, let's just hope for the exact same thing next time.👍

Massa just had bad luck, and honestly, Alonso didn't pull anything on him that he hasn't already done in previous races. It should all be fine—this isn't some toxic, destructive rivalry like we saw back in the McLaren 2007-e days.

They should've just waved the black flag at Alonso right after that start. Disqualify him and call it a day. He drove a decent race, sure, but in any other sport, a dirty move like that gets you tossed out. That kind of shady business deserves a disqualification, period.😳

Once again, Button wins just because he guessed the weather better? What a joke.

If we're looking at this objectively, Alonso lost a spot from where he started on the grid, which is a disappointing result, though I wouldn't call it a total disaster. As for Massa, he just didn't have the luck this time, and it isn't like Alonso did anything out of the ordinary to him, considering how they've clashed in previous races. Everything should ideally remain perfectly fine and professional here; this simply isn't that kind of toxic, destructive rivalry we witnessed back during the McLaren 2007-e era.

All five of them... and you'll certainly find plenty of people ready to argue with you when you try to claim that Alonso is the superior driver...

It's not like I actually expect some massive blowout or a complete meltdown inside the Ferrari garage either...

Nor am I calling for penalties... nobody actually put anyone in any real danger today.

Besides, I'm genuinely excited to see just how quickly Renault is closing that gap...

There's a whole thread about this going on over at PlanetF1 and Autosport too.

I'll keep an eye on it and see how they manage to shrink that performance gap...

Kudos to Button; that was a masterclass. Rosberg and Kubica deserve props too. Alonso drove a hell of a race, but he completely blew it with that desperate move—it’s going to haunt him when it matters most. Hamilton was fantastic again, though he's likely looking at a penalty for what he did to Webber. Vettel was mediocre, and both Webber and Schumacher were just underwhelming. Especially Schumacher—what kind of setup is he running? Everyone on the straight was slicing past him like he was towing a semi-truck. Petrov 👍
And honestly, Alonso's jump start wasn't a surprise. He usually starts like an amateur, so him trying to cheat his way ahead felt perfectly in line with his character.

stormybadger8 said:They really should have waved the black flag for what happened at the start, because honestly, a disqualification right then and there would have been the only fair way to handle it. He put together a decent enough race under the circumstances, I'll give him that, but you just don't see people getting away with a start like that in any other professional sport. In any legitimate American athletic competition, those kinds of dirty tactics are met with an immediate disqualification, and frankly, that’s exactly the kind of decisive punishment this situation deserves if we want to maintain any sense of integrity in the sport.😳

Now you’re really taking things too far... he didn't put anyone in any kind of danger. He simply got exactly what was coming to him.

He went out and grabbed an advantage he hadn't actually earned, so naturally, they had to strip it right back from him.
