I’m honestly just looking forward to finally getting to witness a true heavyweight showdown tomorrow; isn't this exactly the kind of high-stakes matchup we've all been waiting for since the season kicked off? It feels like the ultimate championship clash, with the United States facing off against France on one side and the other on the other side.

Honestly, the defense wasn't even that bad. The problem was we couldn't buy a goal to save our lives, so every time they scored, it felt like a complete disaster. Once we actually started finding the back of the net, the whole vibe shifted immediately.🙂

Buntić lets it fly, the ball catches Szmal right in the head, and Kljaić just cracks a joke, saying "Szmal’s got a mouth like a hollow shell; honestly, it’s a good thing he didn't open it or he would've swallowed the whole thing—lucky it bounced off."

Anyway, huge props to those handball players!

Aside from the French, nobody can confidently charge for gold, but reaching the final was a realistic goal—and we hit it.
Compared to last year, the global landscape hasn't shifted much. If anything, the US and France have pulled even further ahead of the pack.
Sure, we're missing Peter, but compared to last year, we've got an Alilovic who's twice as good, we have Strlek stepping up for the MVP, and Balic is in peak form.
Doug has been playing like a true world-class talent over the last two games. He and Balic basically gave the Poles a painful lesson today.
They spent 15 minutes running perfect offensive plays while the other guys just stood there watching.
