Do you feel awkward at the gynecologist, or are you totally chill about it?

I get pelvic exams all the time, so that feels totally normal, but this whole breast thing is just mortifying. Do I have to strip down completely or what? What’s the actual process like? What does a "full physical" look like with these doctors?

I have a small chest, and honestly, it makes me feel self-conscious. I just feel inferior when a guy notices how small I am—it’s like I immediately lose my appeal.

I’m in the same boat. Since losing some weight, they’ve actually gotten even smaller—I’m sitting at a B cup now—but honestly, it doesn't bother me one bit. When I’m at the doctor's office, my focus isn't on how I look or whether I'm attractive; I'm just hoping everything comes back clear from a health standpoint.

Honestly, gender doesn't matter to me; it’s all about professionalism. I have a female doctor now, and she is absolutely fantastic. She is so attentive and gentle, and she explains everything to me like I'm the last person on Earth. Truly a five-star experience!

I actually had an experience myself (back when I was hospitalized) where a young resident kept leaning in while the attending physician was examining me. He would glance down, then look me straight in the eyes and smile.😲 It was just... gross. I just wanted to go home. My first thought was even "did I shave properly?" Generally, I haven't had great luck with male gynecologists (they are either too flirtatious or looking at my lady parts with the wrong intentions), but I'm still trying to stay unbiased. Hopefully, a good one comes along soon.🤣

And you might not believe this, but a guy once... used his mouth on a close friend of mine during an exam. She never went back, and she really should have filed a complaint, but she didn't. Just a heads-up for anyone considering going there: watch out for Dr. Colak.🙂
