I was just sitting here looking over the qualifying speed measurements, and it looks like Nico Rosberg has the lowest speed through the finish line. Even in that first run—which is usually when the cars are at their absolute fastest—he’s lagging by about 8-9.3 miles/h slower than the rest.
Hopefully, it's just because they're carrying an extra load of fuel. 😁

Man, if Aki gets a start like this tomorrow, things might actually get interesting, or even better if he nails it.

Arthur Doyle70, you aren't wrong about Barrichello and Vettel. But even when you're right, you get two different versions of the results—like what's on the F1 site versus what's in the Telegraph...

So you've got Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen waiting for everyone else... honestly, maybe they'll give them a four-second head start... Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello, Jarno Trulli, and Robert Kubica will probably close that gap in a heartbeat...
let's go Kimi, let's go Kimi 👍

The FIA is definitely going to slap someone with a penalty soon. ☕

Nothing is a sure thing anymore. 🙄

But if you follow the logic, they'll probably nail Sebastian Vettel first, then Rubens, I guess. 😕 Following that, Rubens would be in 3rd, which means he drops down to 8th. 🤔

That seems right

So Rubens starts in 8th

Either way, watching Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso go at it from the start is going to be a blast, whether they're side-by-side or one ahead of the other. 🙂

I’m really hoping this KERS thing actually does something useful.
My bet? I'm expecting both Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso to jump up at least two spots each before they even clear the first corner—and honestly, that’s being pretty conservative. 🙂

That seems a bit overly optimistic to me, 🙏

considering we've still got two kilometers to go before we even hit that first turn. 😁

With Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso sitting in the 1-2 spots,

the exact order doesn't really matter right now. 🙏

That Fernando Alonso guy is such an absolute legend... he genuinely blew me away again today.

Look, I'm telling you... if there's any truth to the rumors about some kind of DRS-style upgrade in the works, and assuming they ditch this KERS thing—which, let's be honest, is basically his only real advantage off the line—then we're looking at being right at the top of the podium.

I honestly find myself wondering if anyone else perceives the sheer absurdity of the current landscape, because from where I sit, things feel increasingly disconnected from the actual essence of competition. It’s one thing to witness greatness, but it's quite another to watch a narrative being manufactured in real-time, almost as if the outcome was decided before the engines even fired up on the grid. There's a certain predictable rhythm to it all now that feels less like a sport and more like a choreographed exhibition, and frankly, it's becoming rather exhausting to follow when you actually care about the nuance of driver skill versus pure, unadulterated machinery dominance. One can only hope for a shift back toward genuine unpredictability, though I won't hold my breath given how heavily the scales seem to be tipped these days. kaže:
You’ve gone and gilded yourself just to get rid of him, haven't you?🙏😍

I don't know, I’m just not buying it... honestly, I think Renault will probably go bankrupt before they actually manage to build something decent for the track.🙄

Sleeping beauties. 😉

Don't you dare come at me with those kinds of garbage statements regarding Renault. 😉

They kicked things off without those diffusers and while operating under their own interpretation of the KERS regulations, and honestly, that's exactly why they’re lagging behind now.

I honestly believe Fernando Alonso will squeeze out every single ounce of performance possible from that car until they finally decide to ban the double diffuser, and frankly, I’m just sitting here hoping they throw a bit of chaos into the mix to shuffle up those winners, because let's be real—the gaps between them right now are absolutely minuscule.

You hit the nail on the head. 🙏

Honestly, if they hadn't messed with the dampers on the
R25 and R26🙏,

I mean, God only knows why they even touched them—they were declared perfectly legal
and everyone was using them
the R26 would have easily been one of the greatest cars to ever grace a track 🙏

If I recall correctly, those guys took the win in seven out of the first eight races 🙏

The traction control and lateral grip on those Michelin tires were just phenomenal, not to mention their starts and how they handled cornering 🙏
it put them miles ahead of anyone else

and don't even get me started on how they danced through the rain 🙏
