All I can say is that the sheer volume of die-hard Fernando Alonso fans😠 always catches me off guard, much like the endless swarm of people who seem to despise Lewis Hamilton😕 (though, to be fair, he isn't exactly my favorite either)
Hamilton... I had a good laugh seeing how Jergović basically dismantled both Hem and Alonso in his column!! Man...
I am officially refusing to root for any of my teams until April 12th, once we finally see what happens with those ridiculous "pleasure-killer" diffusers!
On a serious note, does anyone actually have the real scoop on why Felipe Massa finished 16th? ??😢

And who exactly is🤣

All I can do is laugh at how many die-hard Fernando Alonso fans there are😠 versus the sheer number of people hating on Lewis Hamilton😕
Hamilton... Man, I lost it laughing when Jergović absolutely shredded Hem and Alonso in his column!! Seriously..
I’m refusing to root for my own team until April 12th, once we finally see if these useless diffuser designs actually work.
By the way, does anyone actually know why Massa finished 16th??😢

Because he sucks, and Ferrari sucks even more. 🤷
Because they don't have Brown or Totd anymore—now it's just all Italians. 🤷

Honestly, who cares why? I'm loving every second of it. 😍

You could try checking www.weather.com

Even though they were predicting a tropical storm every single day, it never actually showed up. Strange, isn't it?🤣

I think we all know what's going on here

It feels a little bit underwhelming, doesn't it? To see someone just walk away with a basic championship title like that... 😁

Shouldn't be too much trouble for him. I mean, since he's already down there anyway 🤣

I'm inclined to agree; Hamilton would have been a far more fitting choice.

It’s kind of a letdown that one guy gets to walk away with the whole championship title. 😁

You know... I think Hill and the rest of them were a bit too hard on the guy. He wasn't exactly the greatest talent to ever sit in a cockpit, sure, but even guys who won championships like Damon Hill weren't necessarily better drivers than him.
Button's case just proves how much the car matters in this sport. They’re all legends, sure, but until they all get behind the wheel of the exact same ride—which isn't happening—we'll never actually know who's the best.

p.s.
Man, seeing how much fuel Alonso had on board... maybe even that KERS won't save us at the start. 😕

Tomorrow is going to be a total mess...
If the weather stays dry, I’m calling it now: Rainman takes the win, while Kimi (just speaking as a die-hard fan here😁, Sebastian, and "Double Decker"
follow close behind. But if the clouds actually break and we get some rain? Then Jason "Rainman" Button is looking like a lock for the victory, and guys like Vettel, Kubica, and even Alonso will have a massive shot at it.

I hate to say it, but Ferrari just isn't looking sharp right now😢... but hey, we can always hold out hope for a miracle... just to make it to the finish line.😉
😁Kimi is the best there is.😁

Keith Jones19 said:You know, I can't help but feel that Blazicko and his crowd were a bit too harsh on the guy. Look, he might not be the greatest talent to ever sit in a cockpit, but we've seen plenty of drivers who were technically less skilled still manage to snag a championship—Damon Hill comes to mind.
To me, Button’s situation is a perfect illustration of how much the machinery dictates the outcome in this sport. These guys are all absolute masters behind the wheel, but until they all get a crack at the exact same car—which, let's face it, will never happen—we're basically just guessing who the best really is...

p.s.
Now that I've actually seen how lean Alonso is looking, I'm starting to wonder if that KERS setup will even give him enough kick off the line. 😕

Alonso mentioned he’s putting his faith in the KERS for the start.

Don't sweat it; just sit back tomorrow and enjoy watching him fly. 🙏

Good grief.

Are you even watching F1 on ESPN anymore? 🤣

Blaz is clearly just a massive Button fanboy. 😂

Roger Wright94 said:So—I was just sitting here wondering—what exactly did that flood end up dragging out from under the surface? It’s always such a mess after a storm like that, isn't it? Just leaves you looking at all the debris and thinking, "Well, what else did we miss?"

I’ve been hanging around this corner of the internet for about six or seven years now—though, to be fair, I was operating under a different handle back then—but regardless of the username, that "starks" persona just sits wrong with me. It honestly feels as unappealing as a spoiled paté sitting on your stomach. 😉

If this wasn't funny, it would actually be pretty depressing.

They honestly thought they were still running the show like they did last year. Basically? Total idiots.

He’s actually running about 8-9.3 miles mph slower
than the others. I can only assume it's because they're carrying an extra heavy fuel load 😁

Let me introduce myself with this first post. I’m a newcomer here, though certainly not new to Formula 1. I just wanted to settle things with John Bennett4 once and for all—and I mean it. I just spent five minutes reading a thread where he insists Blažičko prefers Hamilton over Button. Honestly? There isn't a bigger Button fanatic in America than Ivica. During qualifying today, the man was in such a state of delirium that he nearly took out rookie drivers; when someone suggested Vettel could have finished ahead of him in a single lap, he practically lost it, begging them not to say such things and suggesting he just take a different position instead. 🤣

If I recall that old tire discussion correctly, we aren't looking at the same rubber they used in Australia. These two specific compounds for Malaysia shouldn't act anything like those "Australian" ones. At least, that’s what our analysts are predicting.
Word is this harder compound is going to be a massive pain to get up to temperature compared to the hard stuff we saw in Australia. It's going to be a struggle to get them in the window for actual racing.

Because of that, I'm not buying into any theories about a one-stop strategy working here.

Why are you guys even stressing over this? Who cares if Blaž roots for one side, or Novak, or Jergović... honestly, let them pick whoever they want. At least they were actually entertaining in that scene redstag11 described. Way more fun than watching Bože Sušeca obsess over the Lakers or Vele constantly pushing for the Celtics.
