Hey everyone, quick question for you all
I just finished filming some footage of Windows 7 build 7068
I have to say—this feels like a massive leap from Windows XP, so I’m still trying to find my footing and get used to everything
The one thing is, I can't seem to track down Outlook anywhere to check my emails...
Does anyone know where it's tucked away? 😉

That's not a thing...

unless you're talking about Outlook Express

"Windows Media Player cannot burn The Files. If the burner is busy, wait for the current task to finish. If necessary, verify that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver."

I get this error whenever I try to burn music... it won't work in Nero either, and then when I try using Microsoft, this pops up. Anyone know how to fix this?
My DVD drive is a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-110D ATA DEVICE...
Please help!!

Honestly, coming from Windows XP, this feels like a massive shift and I'm still trying to get my bearings
But I can't find Outlook anywhere to check my emails...
Where did they hide it? 😉

It's not there, man!
Neither is Word, Excel, or PowerPoint...
You're gonna have to wing it.

Oh man, honestly, it’s just pure habit at this point! Ever since I started using computers, I haven't really looked back past FedEx...

So, what would you guys recommend instead? Ideally something that feels somewhat similar to FedEx??
Basically, I'm looking for something simple yet reliable...

Here’s the first one, Thunderbird. It’s a decent enough program, I guess. 👍

Hey everyone, just one more quick question for you all
I managed to get that win 7068 version installed on my other PC
though I'm still totally figuring things out...
Does anyone know which specific product key I should be entering when the installer asks for it? I actually found a key online, but it wouldn't accept it—so I ended up just recording the Windows installation without entering any key at all
What does that mean for the system now?
And where's the best place to track down the right product key?
Thanks!

So look, you basically get a 30-day grace period to register Windows before it starts nagging you. Just right-click on My Computer, hit properties, and once that window pops up, scroll all the way to the bottom—there’s an option right there to punch in your product key. As for those beta versions? I'm pretty sure you can snag a key directly from Microsoft's own site...

Hey there!
Just had one more quick question for you guys.
While I'm going through the installation process for win 7 build 7068,
I've run into a bit of a dilemma—it looks like I have about five different versions of Windows 7 to choose from.
There's win 7 starter,
win 7 home,
and then all the others...

Which one would you say is the best way to go?
Thanks a bunch!

This is what Windows Aero actually is:
(Microsoft's official take)
Windows Aero provides a premium visual experience. It features a transparent glass design complete with subtle window animations and a fresh palette of window colors.
Or, if you want my honest opinion: it’s just a resource hog that eats your GPU and RAM for breakfast.

Personally, I think Windows Aero looks fantastic! Sure, it eats up system resources, but if you want it, go ahead and use it...

So, I heard you can actually wreck your HDD if you're constantly rebooting Windows. Is that legit? And if it is, can someone break it down for me? Thanks!
