Just right-click on your desktop, hit personalize, then head down to the display settings on the bottom left and you can set some custom text there

Stop spreading misinformation, I guess.
1GB is just a bare minimum for either case, whereas 1.5 to 2GB is more than enough for Windows 7.

Right now my PC has 2.5 GB—it was supposed to have 4 GB, but 2 GB isn't working at the repair shop, so🙄 I should get them next week and finally hit 4 GB. It’s plenty, though... I'm running Windows 7 x64 with two VPC instances (two Windows 2008 x86 servers for practice) and everything runs pretty solidly without major lag... plus I've got an antivirus, uTorrent, and Daemon Tools running in the background too.☕

Even after all that, I’m still having no luck with Mozilla; the font size is just ridiculously tiny! 😢

Just hop into Mozilla, go to Tools, then Options, hit Content, and you can tweak the font size right there...

I've already tried that, but honestly, no matter what size I select, nothing changes. It just stays exactly the same! 🙄

Maybe just hold down Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in on the text...☕

That’s weird... I mean, all three methods are working perfectly fine on my end, so I honestly have no clue why he’s running into issues...

Alright, so that CTRL trick actually worked. Thanks for the help, everyone.
By the way, I was wondering—what kind of resolution are you all running on your setups?

I've got 1280x800 running on my primary monitor and then 1280x1024 going on the second one

Just wondering, what resolution are you guys running?

I always stick to the highest resolution my monitor supports...☕

In my case, that's 1280x1024 on a 19" screen, I guess.

LOL Nicholas Collins68. We’re basically fighting the exact same revolution here, except my setup is running on a 17" monitor while yours is a bit beefier at 19"

Is there any truth to the rumors about win 7 7201 actually being out? I happened to stumble across a listing for it on The Pirate Bay, though I haven't had the nerve to actually try downloading it yet. http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4934...ld_7201_x86_RU

Just head over to the Microsoft website and grab the Windows 7 RC download... it’s totally free to get your hands on
Apparently, if you're still stuck running one of those beta versions, Microsoft says you really ought to upgrade to the RC or just jump straight into another version of Windows 7 by next month... so yeah, might as well get ahead of it

If you wanna be a real geek.
A true geek knows exactly where everything is 😬
Who knows, maybe you'll even pick up some Russian along the way xD

Does anyone know if there’s an alternative to this: http://www.softarium.com/soundvolumehotkeys/ , specifically for Windows 7?

maybe just try installing it, might actually work

I tried using the Windows+Up Arrow shortcut to boost the volume, but apparently, that's been hijacked by the window snapping feature for the last week. I have no idea how to disable that.
