Sandra Brooks91 said:Just wrap a shoebox in some gift paper and there you have itβa complete package.π
Sandra Brooks91 said:Is there a $5.00 limit on the package, and if you have it sent to a different USPS location, is there an extra $1.75 charge upon delivery? Or can she just pick it up for free at the post office? Alternatively, you could just cover that extra $1.75 yourself to save her the headache, especially if sheβs already reached her π
limit.
Sandra Brooks91 said:I was thinking the same thing until a few days ago. π Everything listed applies to packages up to 5 kg... and up to $33 in value... it would probably be best to specify $27 π
rustywalker17 said:Return them to whom? Be serious. Just hold onto them. You will need them later, and they won't lose their value.
urbancanyon7 said:The thing isβI've got like 100 of those $1.25 stickers left over, maybe even more, so I'd probably sell some of them, whatever...
Donna Martinez95 said:You just enter the value you want to declare π
Sandra Brooks91 said:No, you sent it via certified mail when you really should have shipped it as a standard package.
To be clear, when I said "package," I wasn't using some vague figure of speech. I meant it quite literallyβas in, you actually show up and say, "I am delivering this as a package."
I am filling out the paperwork for standard packages, not for registered mail.
My apologies; I feel rather bad now that I realize I didn't explain myself clearly enough to you. π’
Kimberly Patel said:Yeah, she never got a notice. According to the back of the tracking info, they supposedly left one on November 17th. π€·
Anyone dealt with this before? Whatβs my move here?
Susan Wood3 said:I work for a company that uses the USPS as one of our primary carriers, and I have to say, their mail carriers can be quite unreliable... especially when it comes to how they handle leaving delivery notices for packages... π
So, I suppose that isn't exactly anything new or out of the ordinary... β
Sandra Brooks91 said:Ugh, I honestly can't deal with this forum anymore. My mail carrier was being difficult again today and ended up refusing to leave my package. Instead, he just took it all the way back to Boise. I'm so over it.
