Well, here goes nothing... I've finally gathered the courage to post this.

[SLIKA OBRISANA]

My "bucket." That’s what I affectionately call my current physique.

The situation is that I've been pretty sedentary lately, and if I'm being completely honest with myself, I haven't stuck to a disciplined workout routine in almost two years. But I am officially getting back on track. Right now, it’s brisk walking, Pilates, following along with some workout DVDs featuring Renata, and so on. I’m teaching myself for the time being, though I plan to enroll in professional Pilates classes very soon.

Comments are more than welcome... I can take it. 😉

Here is a front view.

And from the side.

image

This is the part that concerns me...

image

...these little rolls around my knees.

Do you think I have a chance at smoothing those out through aerobic training—like running and walking—combined with cutting out heavy dinners (keeping them light, like yogurt with fruit or tuna and salad)?

Great, the fat Nissan is dead... except for the part where it just eats gas...

Next time I actually get some abs back... 😳
(Yeah, let's call that the short-term goal.)

Obviously, you taking photos of my ass doesn't count 😁

Alright, here I am, ready to subject myself to some old-school embarrassment 😬
First look at the progress
These were taken back in the summer, but honestly, I haven't changed much since then. Just 🙂
I’m fully aware my backside is practically halfway to Japan, so there’s really no need for anyone to point that out—I get it! 😉
That being said, if you have any actual, practical advice on what to do or how to do it, please, by all means, lay it on me 🙂

The game plan: work on cardio, tone up my entire body, and specifically target my glutes.
The method: running three times a week, followed by squats and core work after each run.
Does that sound like a solid plan?

As for food, my diet has been pretty decent for years now—nothing strictly "athlete" level, but I stick to whole grains, eat tons of veggies, fruit, and protein. I barely touch sugar, and I'm pretty disciplined when it comes to chocolate 😁, plus I don't drink coffee often—maybe twice a week tops—and I stick to five smaller meals a day...

I don't want to seem like I'm just lurking and taking everyone else's advice, so I figured I’d finally weigh in myself. Just bear with me though, because I’m actually heading out the door right now. : shy: 😬

So, for those who haven't heard—about five years ago, I managed to drop about 30 pounds. Now, my main goal is just trying to make sure the aftermath doesn't show too much. To be totally honest, I've never stepped foot in a gym in my life, even though I know deep down I probably should.😬: lazy: I mostly just hit up fitness classes or go for bike rides... 😬

So, since I've been commenting on everyone else's posts, it feels only fair that I share a few photos too, right? 😲
Basically, I'm about 175 lbs on a real scale, more or less...

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/7908/sleamb5.jpg

Feel free to take a look...☕

@silentpanther15/">@@silentpanther15, was that comment about body fat meant for me? I wasn't quite sure...
You posted your own photos and seemed to be waiting for people to judge how much weight you're carrying😂
See, I feel like I can shape my body toward my own version of perfection, so I'm open to any feedback
But man, why did you even post yours? So we could tell you if you have a six-pack or a seven-pack? I don't really get it...

Anyway, here are the pics!

@Medo

Honestly, I feel like people are way too hard on themselves most of the time. Especially women, I guess.

I’m definitely my own worst critic—I know all my flaws, trust me. Some things are easy enough to fix, but others? Yeah, those are a bit tougher to tackle.
Whenever I start listing off my shortcomings, my better half just rolls their eyes and tells me I’m basically just talking nonsense.

Photos?

Hmm... let me see if I can dig one up:

There...

Alright, hit me with your best shot. Give it to me straight—don't hold back!😁, right in the face

Maybe I’m just reading the comments wrong, or maybe people are tripping because my photo somehow vanished 😁 but look, I’m 5'10" and 150 lbs—no dad bod here! 🤣🤣

image

Edit: actually managed to hit 150 this summer! 🙂

Here’s a little throwback for you all—this was me back when I was 25! 🙂 🥳

image

Now, just compare that to my photos from a few pages back—it’s pretty much living proof of what happens when you stop hitting the gym.
But hey, we'll be back... and I'll be back in shape too! 😁

Men actually have to work a bit harder to lose muscle mass—but since we're in our thirties, they might as well be in their forties. A little extra sitting around will do the trick, don't you worry.

Edit: I wasn't doing heavy lifting back then, but I stayed super active—playing volleyball with my crew, rollerblading around Central Park, going for long walks...

Alright, here’s the crew—some fresh shots! I know, I know, I’m running a bit behind schedule, but better late than never...

I’m still wrestling with a little bit of stubborn belly fat—it's like that one persistent itch you just can't quite reach—but I'm optimistic I'll have it sorted out by summer time.

PS: Could someone shoot me a DM? It feels like it's been forever since I've had one.

This is what 240 lbs looks like when you shrink it down to the size of a postage stamp.😁

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=21lvllx&s=4 This was me at the end of August, sitting right around 175 lbs. I’m thinking about putting on maybe another few pounds over the winter, though I guess I’ve been feeling a bit too lazy to actually hit the gym this year. 🙂

Alright, I promised some photos, so here they are.
Be nice, though—remember I'm already well into my 30s! 🙂
(Hey, Tyler Ross86, you don't have to be polite 😎)

Summer vibes at Central Park:

This is the only shot where my backside actually shows, which is pretty much the main event. 😠

And the stomach is looking as good as it's ever going to get. 😁

Heading to the gym now; I'll check out your comments when I'm back. 😳

Alright, here are some fresh shots—minus the ones in those blue shorts, obviously—taken with a slightly better phone this time... I still need to grab a few more from a different angle, though.
