35 years old, BP is 182/82. I've put on about 9 lbs over the last couple of months.

Here is a more comprehensive breakdown, if you want the full picture.
Assuming things hold steady until next year, 🙂

Looks like a pretty interesting discussion is heating up here—so I figured I’d jump in and share my photo for the first time!

I haven't really had a proper workout routine in over six months—just kind of doing whatever I can to maintain, and I've been watching my food intake too, I guess.

30 years old, 156 lbs, 5'8"... How do I lose this gut? I've got one, and no matter what I try, it just won't budge. I'm running, hitting the gym, eating as clean as I possibly can, but nothing works.

I'm 31, about 5'8", and hit the 198 lb mark during pregnancy. It’s been two months now and I’m still stuck at 180 lbs. I’ve started strength training again, but haven't quite found the motivation for cardio yet. The weird thing is, the scale isn't budging, but the inches are dropping and the cellulite is actually starting to fade. My plan is to lean out first, then focus on bulking up to regain—or hopefully exceed—my old muscle mass. Honestly, it's a struggle looking in the mirror right now because I'm so used to my "old self," but if I'm being fair to myself, I am pretty happy with how much my body has recovered in just two months.

Hey there—here’s a quick update on my current physique... I’ve been training boxing along with hitting the gym three times a week. Right now, I’m sitting at about 185 or 190 pounds. The boxing sessions are pretty intense, though...
I’m trying to figure out how to build more muscle mass based on my lifting numbers and diet. Currently, I’m eating around 2,300 calories a day because I want to lean out the rest of the way—not sure if 2,300 is enough or if I should bump it up. For now, I just look a bit thin; I’ve already managed to drop about 22 pounds...

Best,

I can never seem to catch the right lighting for these things... So, the first photo shows me at my absolute peak weight, around 255 lbs, though I spent a good chunk of time hovering around 230 lbs given I'm about 6'3". The second shot is from just the other day, sitting at 190 lbs. My go-to for staying active has always been cycling... plus some walking... and I hit the gym for a few months during the winter. I think I've already rambled on about the specifics in other threads, if I recall correctly... anyway, there’s about a five-year gap between these two pictures, and the guy in the photo is 47

Haven't really hit the gym hard in over six months—just doing enough to stay afloat and keeping an eye on my calories...

Respect. Looks perfect to me.

I haven't stepped foot in a commercial gym in about two and a half years—it’s been strictly home workouts for me (I have some gear, though nothing extensive). Honestly, I love the setup at home; there's no crowd, no fighting over machines, and none of that wasted time just standing around waiting for equipment.

It isn't that I'm starving myself, either—I eat quite well and stay healthy.
However, I am looking to pack on a bit more muscle mass—not fat—with a goal of gaining about 10 pounds. Without a gym setting and access to heavier weights, reaching that mark is going to be tough—bordering on impossible, really.

The thing is, I just don't have the motivation to go to a gym. 😵 🤦

romantic_ass said:Sandra Vaughn50, it’s alright 👍

but how are the legs looking after all that home training?

Apple, my legs have actually been the biggest struggle while working out at home—I just don't have enough weight for solid squats or deadlifts. Because of that, I've actually regressed over the last two and a half years; what I have right now is basically just a mix of hiking and some light home weights.

Regardless, once I get back to a real gym, my leg and glute training will be my absolute top priority! 🎉

Come on, fellow veterans! 😁

I'm 52 now, and I can certainly feel the weight of the years catching up to me.
