they can actually find some pace...

I'm positive they will... I just have no clue when that's actually gonna happen.

I seriously don't get it—how does it take an entire season for them to grasp basic tire management?? 😕
I mean, they've got top-tier engineers and brilliant strategists on staff, yet they're still tripping over tire compounds... how? Just how? 😲

They’ve announced some upgrades for the car in Spain... fingers crossed it actually works out... I want to see him absolutely tear it up on home soil... 👍👍

They have top-tier engineers and brilliant strategists, yet they still can't master tire degradation... how? Seriously, how?😲

Maybe they're just incompetent. 🤷

stormyviper11 said:Well, yeah, that’s exactly what I said, or at least what I was getting ready to say, because if Heikki had been running with the same fuel load during practice and if Kubica hadn't botched that one move, Hamilton would have been starting from third, and then we'd all be sitting here wondering how that would have played out. But honestly, given the mess of circumstances they were dealing with, I can't find anything to complain about; the kid drove his heart out, perfectly clean, no complaints whatsoever. 🙂
As for whether Heikki could actually pull off something that dominant, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see during one of the upcoming races when he finally gets a real shot at it or when they actually give him the chance.

there are going to be much more interesting races ahead...

they're really going to have to let Heikki off the leash a bit

things will eventually fall into place for Ferrari...
they certainly aren't lacking in raw speed

the biggest shame is that we didn't get to see Dennis's face when Alonso snatched that position back 😂

Looks like Fernando is actually gonna land somewhere in the top 10 for the start in Malaysia, so we'll see if he can hold onto it.

For Heidfeld, Rosberg, and Alonso, obviously.👍

What was that whole nonsense about the "perfect" Ferrari?
From what I can see, they're doing just fine.🤣

And Kimi? What happened there?
Maybe they didn't give him enough electrolytes or something, because it's like he has no clue how to drive.🤣

Alonso’s actually been great, especially considering how many terrible qualifying sessions he's had.
Why didn't they show Ron when Alonso jumped back ahead of Heikki?
I would've loved to catch that. I wonder where he'd end up fighting, since there's hardly any room to maneuver.😁

This kid Nelson is an absolute disaster. Seriously, he can't even finish a race. Before the season even kicked off, he was talking big, claiming he was already better than Alonso. Give me a break, kid—just shut up and eat your dirt.👎

Once that German actually outpaces Kubica, then we can talk about him being privileged. But right now? Not a chance.🤮

I’m signing on to this... I'm fully on board.

And then there’s the whole situation regarding Renault... honestly, it’s enough to make anyone lose their patience if they have even a modicum of understanding for how this sport functions. You look at the trajectory they've taken, and it feels less like a calculated strategy and more like a series of unfortunate events being treated as intentional decisions, which is frankly insulting to those of us who actually follow the technical developments. It’s one thing to struggle with power delivery or aero efficiency, but it’s quite another to watch a manufacturer stumble through the same fundamental errors season after season while pretending everything is perfectly under control. I find myself sitting here, staring at the telemetry, wondering if anyone in that garage actually possesses the foresight required to bridge the gap to the frontrunners, because right now, it looks like they're just spinning their wheels in the sand.
They were far too late in securing Alonso, so now they're just wandering aimlessly through a sea of half-baked solutions and desperate guesswork.

I truly find myself hoping they stumble upon a viable solution before it's too late, because at this stage, anything less than a definitive fix feels like a complete waste of everyone's time.

The race pace is looking decent enough, I suppose, though if you ask me, a little more raw speed wouldn't exactly hurt at this stage.

But let’s be honest, the absolute biggest headache here is the traction issues when they're trying to power out of the corners...

Raymond Palmer8 said:I just don't get why Kovalainen let Alonso go like that—was it a speed error? Or did the electronics miss a gear shift?

Supposedly, he accidentally hit the pit lane speed limiter button 😁

Alonso was basically driving on a razor's edge the whole race—props to him. 🙂

For me? It’s always been about the best, the most creative, the most lucid, the most talented, the most convincing, the most forward-thinking,
the most beloved, the most famous, the greatest driver to ever hit an F1 track—the fearless
Michael Schumacher... hm, let me rephrase... I mean Ayrton Senna.😁

Huh. Almost gave myself away there.

As for Ferrari, it’s pretty obvious. Schumacher is gone, and things are only going downhill from here.
