jadewolf56 said:for Heidfeld, Rosberg, and Alonso, obviously👍

what kind of disaster was he with that "super perfect" Ferrari?
i see they're doing just fine now🤣

and what about Kimi Räikkönen?
I guess they didn't give him enough fuel or something because the guy clearly doesn't know how to drive🤣

Alonso was actually great considering how many terrible qualifying sessions he had
why didn't they show Ron when Alonso moved back ahead of Heikki Kovalainen?
I would have loved to see that; I'm curious where he would have ended up since there's hardly any room left😁

this little Nelson kid is a complete catastrophe, honestly, he can't even finish a race, and before the season even kicked off he was talking trash about how he was already better than Alonso, come on kid, please, just eat your own words now.👎

well, Kimi Räikkönen just hid a flask in his racing suit and braked late
when he overtook Heikki Kovalainen... 😂

if Piquet doesn't shape up... General Motors really needs to pick up Romain Grosjean...
or maybe Sebastian Vettel... though I wasn't thinking of Fendt🙂

Exactly.☕

But man, regarding General Motors...
They picked up Alonso so late in the game that they're basically just spinning their wheels trying to figure things out right now...

I really hope they stumble onto something that works soon...

Their race pace looks decent... though a little more raw speed wouldn't hurt...

The real killer, though, is that traction when they're trying to power out of the corners...

Honestly, I think they're struggling with traction through the entire turn😁

Did you catch that apex speed data for those two turns? Alonso was lagging behind Hamilton by over 10km/h.

hollowhawk412 said:The biggest tragedy is that we didn't get to see Denis Villeneuve's face when Alonso snatched that position back 😂

Yeah, honestly, that’s what I was hoping for too. 😁

It feels like General Motors being a bit underwhelming might actually be the most interesting thing about this season... it forces Alonso to just grit his teeth and fight for every inch. He’s more than capable of pulling that off without all the nonsense Kimi tends to pull when he's pushing the limit, or even Massa on a bad day. If the guys over at Enstone can just build him something even remotely competitive, maybe that fighting spirit will actually let him trade blows with the top tier every once in a while...

Losing traction mid-corner just leads to sliding all over the track🙏🙏🙏

Did you catch those apex speed comparisons for those two corners? Fernando Alonso was lagging behind Hamilton by more than 10km/h.

I’ve already made that point once... and frankly, this whole result is just subpar on every conceivable level...

But look, since Fernando Alonso went on record saying he believes they can actually compete on the real tracks
I’m inclined to take his word for it, because everything he’s put out there during testing and these opening practice sessions has been spot on...

Look, there’s no way a crisis is happening—not when I couldn't care less about some loser like Jason Campbell70 anyway...😂😂😂😂

🤔

Wait, so what happened to their driver winning the championship last year? And that was right after "legendary" Schumacher failed to pull it off two years running, right?

Williams' Kazuki Nakajima was the final finisher in this incredibly attritional race, taking seventh place despite running into Robert Kubica (BMW Sauber) as he prepared for the final restart—damaging his front wing and ending the front row starter's race.

Forget Nakajima, we definitely didn't need another version of Takuma Sato. As if we weren't already dealing with enough from David Coulthard, Jarno Trulli, and the original Sato.

Man, forget Nakajima—as if we didn't need another version of Takuma Sato, like having the original David Coulthard, Jarno Trulli, and Sato wasn't enough already.

Unbelievable, all Japanese drivers are just kamikazes.😁 😁
