Nicole Reyes97 said:Yeah, it would be pretty hilarious if they actually started hunting for Fernando and Jean Todt realized he’s running out of options for drivers (and no, I don't mean Kimi🤣)

Where are all those people now who were insisting Massa would be ABSOLUTE perfection during the race??😂

I get the feeling Jean doesn't have much to do with things anymore... it's just some bunch of Italians running the show now, and we all know how that usually ends up🙂
Massa absolutely tore it up today😁😬..if it wasn't for that mistake right at the start, things would have been a lot smoother for him.. he was easily the most entertaining guy on track😛
Kimi was just boring to watch, a real shame for him too
Basically, a total disaster..
If David Coulthard thinks driving like that is acceptable, he should just pack it in; he's getting dangerous..
The "Magnificent Seven"—props to them for actually crossing the finish line🙂

What a fantastic announcement for the upcoming season! It certainly gets one excited—I've been eagerly anticipating this kind of update for quite some time now.
I really feel for Robert Kubica (BMW Sauber)—it’s just heartbreaking. Honestly, we need to get a handle on these kamikaze drivers instead of letting them just charge recklessly around the track!
Nico—congratulations, man! Your old man is definitely feeling proud right now!
Nick Heidfeld — we really shouldn't expect anything less!
It’s such a shame for Kimi Raikkonen, though—not that it seems to bother him even slightly. Honestly, the guy is a complete madman, and I truly believe he’ll find his way back to being a champion again! (I say that, even if I'm not exactly an expert on the matter—just my two cents!) tifozica!)
Massa... oh, Massa—how could he just give up like that?!
Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren-Mercedes) has a solid car under him—truly—but he’s still such a young driver. We really need to be patient here! Not everyone just falls right into Ron Dennis's lap like Lewis Hamilton did. Honestly, I thought things were going to get a little heated when they were hugging right before stepping onto the podium! 🤮 Lewis Hamilton is basically the Tom Cruise of the paddock—it’s easy to look like a superstar when everything is perfectly aligned in your favor!
Fernando Alonso has once again proven that he operates on an entirely different level than most of the grid. He was absolutely brilliant—simply the best, and honestly, a bit of a madman—and now he’s back home enjoying the moment! Personally, I think he’s landed in a fantastic position. If he performs well, he looks like a genius; if things go sideways, everyone will just point the finger at this season's Renault. It is quite a situation, considering he actually moved over from McLaren to take the reins of that car. 🙂
Even though my brain keeps telling me we aren't going to see any spectacular results this season—my heart just won't stop racing: 🙏FER-NAN-DO, FER-NAN-DO, FER-NAN-DO!😍😍

Fernando has basically proven once again that he’s just on a completely different level than most of the grid. Seriously—he's incredible, the absolute best, and honestly kind of a madman—now he's finally back home just soaking it all in! Honestly, I think he's actually in a killer position. If he drives his heart out, everything looks amazing—but if things go south? Well, everyone is just going to blame this year's Renault. Which, let's be real, is the car he's stuck with after moving on from McLaren... 🙂
Even though my brain is telling me he might not have the massive results we're hoping for this season—my heart is just screaming: 🙏FER-NAN-DO, FER-NAN-DO, FER-NAN-DO!😍😍

I'm totally with you on this, hats off.🙏🙏

Honestly, I think he's in a great spot. If he drives well, fantastic; if not, everyone will just blame this season's Renault. Which, granted, is currently in his hands instead of being at McLaren... 🙂
My head tells me he won't have a stellar season, but my heart keeps chanting: 🙏FER-NAN-DO, FER-NAN-DO, FER-NAN-DO!😍😍

😂

you're probably fantasizing over his photo,😕

Back to the topic—Massa is a rare one.👎

Felipe Massa absolutely crushed it today—just totally tore it up out there.😁😬Man, if it wasn't for that one mistake right at the start, things would've been way easier for him... seriously.Man, he’s easily the funniest guy on the track—no contest...😛

Total disaster... honestly.
If David Coulthard thinks driving like that is okay, he can just forget about it—it’s seriously dangerous...
The magnificent seven—honestly, major props to them for just crossing the finish line.🙂

Yeah, me too... honestly, you can see how we just naturally end up on the same page about this stuff—I definitely gave him the most grief out of everyone.🤣🤣

David Coulthard: Felipe Massa is to blame for the collision

An absolutely livid David Coulthard didn't mince words, pointing the finger squarely at Felipe Massa as the culprit behind the Lap 26 incident that effectively ended his afternoon.

At the heat of the moment, Massa attempted to dive down the inside of Turn 1 to make a move on Coulthard, but contact was inevitable. Coulthard inevitably bore the brunt of the impact, suffering enough damage to his car to force an immediate retirement.

"Look, Felipe clearly had the faster car and a bit more top-end speed, but if you're going to attempt an overtake, you actually have to execute it properly. You can't just barge people out of the way like a bull," Coulthard remarked.

"I know I pulled a similar stunt with Alex last year, but I owned up to my mistake then, and I expect Felipe to show that same level of accountability now."

The wreckage from their clash triggered the Safety Car for the second time during today's race.

While Massa managed to limp on after the hit, he ultimately failed to see the checkered flag.

anyway, let's not get sidetracked... he and I don't really matter here...

what matters is—Fernando!!!!!!
It's honestly wild how much control he has over the car, especially now that we're dealing with life without traction control.🙏

What an absolute idiot David Coulthard is. This isn't even up for debate—the blame lies squarely on him. There's no point in questioning whether Felipe Massa had any part in this. Honestly, he should just walk away from Formula 1 before he actually kills someone.

Jarno Trulli feels optimistic about Toyota's pace

Following the messy and frankly underwhelming final results at the Australian GP, Jarno Trulli claims he’s actually encouraged by how the Toyota car is performing.

The Italian driver managed to climb from a sixth-place start, but his afternoon was cut short when a battery explosion during his first pit stop sent temperatures soaring, making the seat absolutely unbearable.😲

"The battery was running hot from the very beginning. Then it just blew while I was in the pits. It’s a real shame because the car felt solid and I was driving quite well. I was sitting in a points-scoring position, so missing out on a good result this early in the season is a tough pill to swallow."

"That said, this machine is a step up from last year, and it's only going to get faster. We didn't look spectacular here either, mainly because the tires weren't cooperating perfectly. But we really should have been fighting for better results. I'm confident we can compete this year, and I'm hoping we show more promise in Malaysia."

Timo Glock had a much rougher outing than his teammate, spinning off with just 14 laps left in the race.

"It’s been a brutal return to Formula 1. Given where I started on the grid this afternoon, things were bound to be difficult. I had contact with two other cars right at the start. After that, I actually managed to claw some time back during the opening phase, even though I was carrying a heavier fuel load."

"However, the car's front end felt incredibly twitchy, and that’s something we have to fix. Once I hit the pits, the handling became a nightmare, and I eventually ended up off track. I'm physically fine, but mentally, I'm disappointed. I'm just looking for better luck next week."

Timo reflects on his tough comeback😂

The only one who matters is Fernando!!!!!!
It’s honestly fascinating to watch how masterfully he handles the car, especially now that they're dealing with the lack of traction control.🙏

I won't, I simply won't...

Renault will make their comeback....

After all, they've had the hardest time adjusting to the Bridgestone tires, and then there's all this electronic stuff... it seems McLaren has a slight edge when it comes to low RPMs...
And in Formula 1, even a tiny advantage is a massive advantage...

We're lucky enough to have Fernando, who actually knows how to pilot a car without TC for an entire race
and that's while pushing it right to the absolute limit.
