A more budget-friendly option:

Edit—even cheaper:

I'm thinking I’ll probably go with the R9 280 and that Scythe cooler up top. It just seems like the best bang for my buck.

On a related note—since we're already talking about this stuff—what would you say my current rig is worth in USD?

Thanks, everyone.

CPU SHOWDOWN: i5 4460 vs i7 4790K vs i7 920 - Gaming Performance

Assuming this isn't some kind of rigged test, there really isn't any need to hunt down a more powerful CPU. Looking at the results, we're seeing 720p resolution without any AA, occasionally even on low or medium settings. That means if you were to run these at 1080p on Ultra with AA enabled, the performance gaps would likely be even smaller. You can find these older chips, like the Intel Core i7 920, for a bargain these days, but the LGA 1366 motherboards are still pricey, and honestly, who knows what kind of shape they're actually in?🕺

So, buying one doesn't make much sense, but then again, selling them isn't exactly a gold mine either... I guess we'll just see how it plays out.

Did you use thermal paste or go without?
No joke,
Just list all the warranties, and then we can wait for the appraiser from Arendelle & Co. to arrive.

No joke here,
Just list all the warranties and the appraiser from Arendelle & Co. will be right there.

Well, I can personally guarantee that everything is running perfectly. 👍
I used some high-quality thermal paste, though I can't quite recall the specific brand off the top of my head; it was silver in color.🤣

You used Polar Med? 🍿

I think we could send Arendelle & Co. in exchange for the parts 🤣...

He obviously overclocked it, so naturally, the price is dropping. 🤣

I wouldn't agree. You could list the GPU on Craigslist for $67 even more, same with the monitor... with some of those prices you mentioned, you could just buy new parts with a full warranty.

It’s fine if they decide to sell it tomorrow; people are out there hunting for even a $333 for a GTX 660. Honestly, I wouldn't part with my own setup—even with a 20-month warranty—for anything less than $300! RAM doesn't lose much value anyway, and for an LCD, I wouldn't pay more than 1300 either. If I were buying the whole lot, I'd probably try to knock 50-$33
off the total price.

Dell Inspiron N5720, i7/6GB/1TB/GT630, White LED

It is still under warranty—though I am not entirely certain how much time remains—and the machine is in excellent condition; however, the battery has unfortunately died.

Hey, you've actually posted this in the wrong spot—this thread is specifically for PC valuations. You might want to head over to the IT help and service section instead.

Hey there,

I need some help putting a value on these parts. I’m debating whether it makes more sense to offload everything as a bundle or just sell them off piece by piece.

CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K @ 3.00GHz
RAM: 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz
MB: ASUS P35-DS3L (Socket 775)
GPU: 1023MB Nvidia GeForce GT 710 (ASUS)

Thanks!

I’d probably top out at $800 for that—$300it’s an older socket, after all...

Maybe try listing it on eBay $300 and just drop the price by $17 every week if you aren't in a massive rush to sell.

If you're looking to sell:

$100-$50
$67
$50
up to $50

You might want to list it higher at first to see what happens.
