Thanks, but at that price, I'll just check eBay instead. 😁

I think it might be a Microsoft industrial case.
EVGA Platinum MS-400 ATX P4 230
I believe this might be an AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ running at 2.91 GHz.
I think this might be the M3A-H/HDMI model.
I believe that's about 4.5GB of DDR2 memory.
I think there might be a Western Digital 250GB SATA drive in this mix, I suppose.
I believe I'm looking at an Nvidia GeForce 9600 gt with 1GB of DDR3.

Microsoft case + power supply = 50-$33
Processor = 50-$33
4.5GB DDR2 = 150-$67
HDD = 50-$33
GPU = 100-$50
Motherboard = $50

That’s roughly what I’d put on it, I guess.

That motherboard is a beast, but I'm not sure what current market rates look like since you can't find them in stores anymore, so it's hard to benchmark. Ask the more experienced folks here for a better estimate.

It might sound a bit ungrateful to say, but I honestly think that Sandy Bridge CPU is worth more—at least two sockets' worth—simply because it offers 40 PCIe lanes.

I just set up my new account for $600 and have been around since $400.

Since I'm ordering a new build this week, I'm looking to sell my current setup:

Intel Core 2 duo e7400 2800
ASUS P5G41T-M LX motherboard with integrated Intel g41 graphics
4 GB (2x2) DDR3 1333 RAM
Microsoft 400W case
Samsung DualLay sat DVD+RW/DVD-RW/DVD-RAM burner
500 GB Western Digital WD5000AAKS-22V1A0 hard drive

Could someone provide a rough estimate of its value? Everything is in perfect working order.

Thanks

That’s a beast of a CPU, it just doesn't have many people who actually need it. I was checking eBay prices and they hover right around there—you can even find some near $1,000. It’s an older platform and wasn't even that mainstream back in its prime, so demand is definitely low. Personally, I'd start asking $1,500, though I might take less. Two hundred won't happen, though; for that kind of money, you could grab a newer 4460 plus a motherboard, which is plenty good enough for any gamer.
If someone needs to do heavy rendering or CPU-intensive work, then yeah, this would be a killer deal. But that's exactly the issue—how many people actually do that? 🙂

Could I get a ballpark estimate on this setup? Also, if you guys want to make an offer, maybe just shoot me a DM?

Intel Core i7 PC build
Zalman 7700cu
Gigabyte 880 UD3H rev 2.2
Nvidia GeForce GTX 275
Kingston Hyperx Blu 2 X2GB DDR3
Wester Digital 640 AAKS Caviar Blue
Seasonic S12II 520 w
Bitfenix

Black note: So, the primary PCIe slot on the motherboard is acting up a bit—it's basically half-broken. The fan on the card spins up fine, but I'm not getting any signal on the monitor at all. The GPU works totally fine if I plug it into the second slot, though.

Hope these prices look alright. I could really use some help figuring out what to ask for my hard drives, since I honestly have no clue what they're worth lately.

Hey there,
just wondering how much I could probably grab for an MSI 270 x 2gb gaming card (not the ITX version) that still has about 22 months left on its warranty?
