Thanks.
What exactly does the warranty cover?

The GPU's had about 2 years on it.

Motherboard ~$83
GPU 800-$300
Honestly, you could probably ask for more than 270 bucks for a 270X that still has about 2 years of warranty left...

Yeah, they've found some beefier ones, though you can also find older 79XX models at those prices that are still noticeably more powerful than the 270X. Honestly, it just comes down to preference—some people value a warranty more than raw performance, so they’ll opt for the 270X. Others would rather grab a faster card even if it's out of warranty. It really depends on what’s currently sitting on eBay. He could list it for $1,000 on eBay and wait six months for a buyer, or he might move it in a few days if there isn't anything better out there right now. I gave him a realistic price to ensure a quick sale; how much extra he tries to squeeze out of it is his call. He could probably ask for more, provided he doesn't mind waiting... 🙂

I think I'm just gonna hang onto this 270x for now. Honestly, feels like I'd be taking a massive 40-50% hit on its value if I let it go.

The new one comes with a 2-year warranty and costs $413, which I guess makes it the cheapest option.

I was actually talking about a brand new one from a local shop: http://www.nabava.net/graficke-karti...ddr5__17307451
Yeah, this one is an ITX model, but I figured the price would be right around there.

Hey there! So, I’ve got this Gigabyte 880 UD3H motherboard where the primary PCIe slot seems to be totally fried or something. I mean, if I plug my card in there, the fans spin up and everything, but I just get zero signal on my monitor. It’s super weird because the board actually has two slots, and when I pop the card into the second one, it works perfectly fine. Anyway, I was hoping to get some thoughts on what this whole setup might be worth if I bundled the board together with my Phenom ii x4 955 and that Zalman 7700 Cu cooler—I'm really leaning towards just selling all three as a package deal. I might even toss in the POV GTX 275. as well. I already put a listing up on eBay for $200 for the trio, but I can't wrap my head around why nobody's biting... especially since I know a brand new version of my cooler alone goes for about $233 plus shipping from overseas. I guess I'm just feeling a bit lost on the pricing here. Any advice would be appreciated.

That Zalman thing looks something like this:

So, I guess $13 you're looking at maybe... $200 for the board $83, plus $350 for the processor $133. As a bundle, $200 it seems alright.

I probably wouldn't drop more than 100-$50 on a board that's half-broken anyway.

I mean, look at this thing... it's basically just a solid chunk of copper covering the entire CPU with like, a hundred little copper wires sticking out everywhere. Honestly, if you just melted it down and sold it for scrap, you’d probably make more than $13. And as far as coolers go, it looks incredible... it totally puts those modern heatpipe setups to shame, and honestly, it might even be better than them, not to mention how insanely well copper pulls heat away...
So yeah, there's a reason it's sitting at 100 bucks...
But hey, I guess that means I wasn't being too unrealistic after all, alright, thanks anyway...

Maybe it was worth a hundred bucks when it launched a decade ago, but it’s ancient history now. Plus, fans only last so long before they give out...
You can probably snag them on eBay for like ten bucks.

It’s true—looking at it, the second PCIe slot only offers x4 bandwidth. That said, $200 it should be perfectly fine for all three components; if things get really tight, you could always throttle it down to $167 in an emergency.

What I'm looking for:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16GHz, Socket 775 LGA (0x0)
RAM: PC2-6400 (400 MHz), DDR2, Kingmax Semiconductor, 2x 2048 MB
Motherboard: GIGABYTE EP35-DS4
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 210, 512 MB VRAM
Plus a case and a 500GB hard drive.
I'm thinking about upgrading to something a bit more modern, so I'm hoping to maybe get at least 30-50% of my money back... 🤔

If you're throwing in the power supply too, maybe $850$300.
Honestly, I’d probably just sell it off in parts; that board alone is only worth about a third of that total.

I’d honestly just sell it off piece by piece... I mean, that motherboard alone is basically worth a third of that total.
Oh, definitely including the power supply..
But man, if you try selling everything separately, who knows how long that's gonna take? 🤦

What about the rest of it?
