True, but it’s likely just the 1GB version, probably even a single-fan model. Besides, you almost certainly won't have any warranty left. Those GPUs date back to 2012; the standard warranty is three years max, and honestly, I doubt they were even on shelves for two full years after launch. As far as I can recall, they weren't out that long.

Look, I know they aren't out there anymore. I'm talking about back when they had stuff like the 260x/265/270 series
. Let them try with $167, though personally I’d be down to drop $400 on it.
I'd part with my Sapphire 7850 2gb for $450, no sweat.

Uffff, pretty weak for gaming. Unless you're just paying for a Windows license, it’s barely worth it.

It’s not like it’s a total disaster for browsing or stuff, but don't expect much from modern games. Both the CPU and the GPU are just too sluggish.

Below, $1000 I put together a brand new PC capable of running most modern titles on medium settings. You could probably find used gear with similar performance for less, but this setup was nowhere near anything remotely usable.

Hey everyone 🙂

So, I've decided it's finally time to let go of my mini PC—honestly, it’s been sitting there gathering dust for almost a year now—so I'm trying to figure out what kind of cash I can actually get for it. Realistically speaking, how much could I grab for the whole setup?

Asus Vivo VC62B
MB:
VC62B (BGA-1168)
HDD: 500GB Samsung HD502H Sata II
CPU: i3 4030U 1.9
RAM: 4GB ddr3 1600MHz
GPU: Intel HD 4400

MONITOR: Dell S2340L 23"

KEYBOARD & MOUSE: Logitech Wave K550

SPEAKERS: Logitech Z200 Black

I picked this up about a year and a half ago. I've still got the receipt and all the paperwork too.

Thanks for getting back to me 👍—I was aiming for a ceiling of around $2,200, and honestly, I wasn't even that far off the mark 🙂

Hey folks—is this old junk actually worth anything in theory? I’m wondering if there’s even a remote chance to sell this or put it to some sort of use, or if I should just write it off as a total loss and move on.

Maybe I'll pass this along to someone who wants to play MS-DOS games on Windows XP, though honestly, even Windows XP probably won't work...

Or honestly, just grab a baseball bat—or maybe an axe—and vent all that negative energy on that dinosaur. It’s basically what our friend over here was saying... it might actually be useful for those old MS-DOS games.

John Doe, I honestly feel tempted to toss this thing off my roof just to conduct a little impromptu crash test.

Hey everyone. Could I get a rough estimate on what this setup is worth?

CPU i3 4130 3.4ghz
GPU Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti Palit Edition
RAM 8GB DDR3
PSU ATX 420W
2 HDD, one 500GB, one 1TB
SSD Samsung 750evo 128GB

For peripherals, I'm including a VG248QE monitor$1000
SteelSeries Sensei mouse, basically new, worth about $75
SteelSeries 6GV2 keyboard, brand new$250

Just so you know, this rig has had a few upgrades over time...

It runs fast and perfectly...

...$0.67 is this overkill, underpowered, or actually realistic? ☕

A bit optimistic, but it might just pass on his rig.

Since my old PC is heading out the door, I was wondering what a realistic asking price might be if I wanted to sell it quickly on Craigslist rather than just tossing it in a dumpster somewhere🙂 I'd appreciate any kind of estimate you guys could give me. Just a heads up, though—the front USB port isn't working, the DVD drive is a bit sluggish, and I'll probably pull the hard drive out anyway so I don't have to deal with migrating all my data. thanks

I wouldn't go with that second option at all. Even the first one is pretty ancient. An s775 setup might handle some light gaming, but that socket is over a decade old; you could wake up tomorrow to a dead motherboard and find zero replacements out there. What exactly are you planning to use the PC for, and is this really the absolute limit of your budget?
For your old rig, $300-$133 is a stretch—you'd be lucky if anyone even looked at it. Honestly, you could probably list it for $200 and still struggle to find a buyer because, frankly, nobody's looking for this stuff anymore.
