Fish oil is already baked into most Omega-3 supplements anyway—so I really doubt that's going to be an issue for you. Just take it with some water, then go ahead and have your whey with some lean protein. Simple enough, right?😉

Well, I suppose that’s what happens when you actually have the drive to dig deeper—you end up with more information than you initially bargained for. In any case, I’ve certainly picked up quite a bit from the discussions here.

From what I’ve noticed in here, most everyone seems to be living on whey protein.
Is there really nobody actually using casein to supplement their meals or
maybe even as a meal replacement during the day?

Look, let's say today I grabbed some muesli, a scoop of whey, and about a cup of milk... was I even close? Since I can't stand whey mixed with water and I didn't have time to pick up those fish oil capsules.

Casein isn't exactly cheap, so some find it easier to just skip a meal once a day rather than buy casein.

🙄

Oats and whey in 1% milk is a superior choice, though your meal wasn't bad either.

Yeah, they suck. Honestly, what part of that isn't clicking?

Seriously, they foam up way too much, you're left with clumps even after using a shaker, and the taste is just gross when mixed with water. It’s all just massive marketing hype. They really aren't any good.

I’ve never actually tried Multpower, but honestly, most whey proteins are pretty much the same thing. Once you’ve put in the work to build up your muscle mass, I doubt even the pro athletes would notice a massive difference.

Just grab whichever one tastes better to you, mixes smoothly, and doesn't mess with your stomach...

You gained 26 lbs in 3 months? Honestly, that’s a massive amount of weight to pack on that quickly, so I’m pretty skeptical about how much of it is actually quality muscle. But hey, if you’re feeling good about it, then whatever...
Just take your whey with some glucose as a post-workout meal. If you’ve got extra powder lying around, you can toss some in the morning too, but seriously, take the rest of that cash and invest it in actual food.

Just take your whey with some glucose as a post-workout shake, and if you've got extra, toss some in the morning too—otherwise, just spend that cash on better food.

Look, I didn't turn into the Hulk or anything, but I definitely feel stronger and my lifts are up. And let's be real, those 12kg don't look bad... obviously it isn't all lean muscle, but I still need to pack on about that much more mass.
al treba mi još cca toliko mase

I had some premium Weider today and, man, compared to that, Multpower doesn't even come close when it comes to flavor...😂 plus it just feels easier on the system. If it were me, I'd definitely go with Weider.😁

I honestly think Weider Premium in that chocolate-nougat flavor tastes way better than Nesquik. 🙂

I tried the strawberry one too, and honestly, it was pretty damn good. 🙂
Anyway, I'm sticking with the premium whey.

So, I was just sitting here wondering, purely out of curiosity, what your current weight is?

A quick question regarding plant-based cheese 🙂

Is there an optimal time to eat it:
for breakfast

or perhaps for dinner

or does it truly make no difference? 😕

I consume this exclusively because I am a vegetarian, and I’ve heard it offers high-quality protein—something I find slightly lacking in my current diet; consequently, any potential muscle gain is merely a secondary benefit... so please, I am only looking for answers from a strictly nutritional standpoint 🙂

Better suited for dinner. They’ll be running some quick protocols in the morning.

So, which protein shake should I be grabbing for an afternoon snack?
I mean, is it even necessary for me at all?
I’m hitting the gym for about an hour every single day.

What scoop size should I be using if I'm mixing my whey with non-fat milk?
Is 50g about the right ballpark, or am I off? Also—what’s the flavor profile going to be like if I go with chocolate whey? Isn't it going to taste a bit...

Jesse Martinez23..

Toss 9 ounces of fat-free cottage cheese into a shaker, slowly pour in some milk (maybe 1.5 to 2 cups depending on how thick you want it), then once it thins out a bit, dump in two scoops of whey. Close the lid, give it a good shake, and boom—you’ve got two meals sitting at 40g of protein each, with basically zero fat or carbs...
Quick tip: if you use Friendship brand cottage cheese, it blends way smoother with milk since there aren't many lumps. That other store brand stuff is garbage—total clumps that you can only fix if you have a blender handy...
You can eat this whenever, really. Just don't do it right after a workout—stick to your whey with water and glucose for that post-training window...
P.S. Don't go overboard with the milk during the day—it still has a high glycemic index. Personally, I cap mine at about two cups a day...
